We’ve tried to dine in a few times, but it’s always quite crowded, so we usually opt for takeout. The pastrami and tamago sandwiches are fantastic—flavorful, well-balanced, and worth the hype. The strawberry dessert sandwich was not only beautiful but also delicious. Since everything is made to order, expect a bit of a wait—ours took about 15–20 minutes. Definitely a great spot if you’re craving a high-quality Japanese-style sandwich, just be prepared for the crowds!

This place is loved by locals and tourist. The food is absolutely delicious and the matcha latte is one of the best ones I've had at a restaurant, and I've had many. The only downside is that the place is quite small and the service is a little off BUT you will not regret it.

Nice atmosphere, clean space, great coffee, and amazing service. The Tamago / Egg Sando was incredible! Wish we had more time during our Paris trip to visit Benchy a second time, as the Pastrami Sando also looked so good. Thank you Benchy team!

Amazing coffee shop that specialises in Japanese sandwiches. Sandwiches are prepared freshly in store and presented perfectly in front of you. The portion size is surprisingly generous too.

If you are in the neighbourhood of the Bon Marché department store, and you need a quick lunch on the go, I highly recommend checking out Benchy, a Japanese sando sandwich place. Inside seating is very limited. This small outfit delivers very tasty delicious pastrami and tuna sandwiches in fluffy toasted Japanese bread among other flavours (the egg sandwich is also pretty good too). You also have desert style sando sandwiches filled with cream and strawberries or mango. The prices are reasonable while service is quick and efficient. The long queues at lunch time testify for the quality of what they do.

I didn’t expect I could have a rice ball(onigiri) in Paris, it was absolutely tasty! I literally vacuumed the rice ball and desert sando in 10min😄 I couldn’t try coffee because there was no decaf. But macha latte was absolutely amazing. Kind service is a plus, will definitely go back next time.

CALM, RELAXED & SIMPLE. This Sando-shop looks like a family-owned place where people work together in a cozy and jazzy-ambiance. A delicate atmosphere where your ears, mouth and, above all, your heart, will be delighted by. MOUTH-WATERING SANDOS. While entering the place, take great care of choosing the right Sando that will fit to your tastebuds. In fact, if you like meat made the American-way, you will definitely love the Pastrami one with lots of pastrami slices topped with an American yellow mustard. If you are rather classical or you don't know what to choose, you can try and bet on the Egg & Yuzu! It is actually our TIMELESS FAVOURITE. Now, it's time to take a seat either on their small outdoor bar, or wait for your sandos inside, while having all-ears to their melodic Japanese jazz. Exceptional. The last step is for you to taste what you've ordered! Your appetite will be satiated by their home-made Sandos. Two-words: heavy and spatial. ENDING CHAPTER. And whether you have a sweet-tooth or not, do not hesitate to try their sweet-sandos. They are filled with Fresh-cream like no other dessert and pastry, and are topped with some seasonal fruits! This Japanese Café and Sando-shop has a really high esteem to us, even if its prices are a bit high!

This place deserves to be included in your route. The focus is on the great sandwich they do. Each one can be easily shared and it is best to order more options.
