Belgian Café

I am surprised the average score reaches 4.4 to he honest. The food quality is quite below expectation which I definitely cannot use delicious to describe. The ingredients are not fresh such as the chicken wings. The Caesar salad has too much sauce that you could easily feel greasy after eating a bit. We ordered ribeye it is ok but not worth money based on such quality. I won’t recommend especially the atmosphere is not remarkable either, non-smoking area are just near by the smoking place that you could imagine.

Great place to just chill and have some drinks and enjoy a sporting event on the big screen. The waffles were great didn’t have time to enjoy more than waffles, drinks and some cigars. Great service, very attentive and welcoming.

I ate at Belgian Cafe twice while staying at the Intercontinental Hotel. The food here was pretty average compared to other restaurants at the hotel and in the area. I was pretty surprised at how busy it often was in the evenings and other high ratings. I reserve my High ratings for really amazing food, service, and value. The signature sauce Mussel Pot was actually pretty heavy, too creamy for mussels, and I wish I had ordered something more simple and traditional. The salmon I had on my second visit was much better prepared. In both instances service was unpredictable, as the servers could be attentive one moment, and then overwhelmed by the volume of patrons the next. After my second meal there, I would say it was good, but I did not see any reason to return. I suppose if you enjoy beer and pub food, this restaurant would be more appealing.

Great restaurant, feels like a traditional British pub within Abu Dhabi, with football playing on the TB screens inside as well as a big screen outside, was Liverpool v Newcastle !

Honestly one of the worst "Marinière Mussels" I have the opportunity. Some pork "festival" dish looks amazing but stay away from the "mussels". BTW I have been told that the "provençale mussels" were not better. And for 180 AED I was definitely disappointed.

I recently dined at Belgian Cafe Abu Dhabi Intercontinental Hotel and was thoroughly impressed by both the exquisite cuisine and the impeccable service. The menu showcased a variety of innovative dishes, blending bold flavors and beautiful presentation. The attentive and knowledgeable staff ensured that our meal was a memorable one, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring our satisfaction. I can’t recommend Belgian Cafe Abu Dhabi Intercontinental Hotel enough for a fantastic dining experience and the staff was great specially Mr. Bernardo and Wera.

A must to eat out venue in Abu Dhabi! Delicious food , outside setting with a view! No long waiting for food at the table !
