Beachhouse at the Moana

Fabulous dining experience! Sitting on the veranda is just breathtaking as you can enjoy the oven and the unbelievable Banyan tree in the courtyard. The menu is set. We enjoyed the 4 course menu for $110. There were 4 of us and we all ordered different foods. Everything was spectacular! The food came out relatively quickly beautifully plated. The lobster chowder was flavorful as was the salad. We enjoyed lobster au gratin and the prawn appetizers. Our entrees consisted of lamb, filet mignon and kampachi (local fish). Everything was prepared very well and was deliciously flavorful. We celebrated our friend’s birthday as well while enjoying dessert! Kevin, our server, did a lovely job. I highly recommend the Beachhouse at Moana!

Made Mother’s Day, 6pm dinner reservations several weeks before flying to the island and it was the best decision ever. We got the best table with an unobstructed view of the beach/ocean. Our server was friendly and attentive. The cocktails were refreshing. The food was solid.

Booked a table at 6pm and had a wonderful, close view of the ocean just as the sun was setting. View was beautiful and food was amazing. Highly recommend a 5 course meal with a wine pairing.

Amazing dining experience at the Beachhouse. We had the 4 course meal and every single selection was perfectly prepared. Nice pairing with wine. What made it even better was the service. Brandon and Ping who served and waited our table were so nice and friendly. They offered to take pictures of us too which was so sweet of them. Beautiful venue, live music and amazing sunset. We'll be back!

This is the third time I stayed at Moana Surfrider. It is just as I remembered... it is amazing. Tried the Chef's Tasting Menu last night, and it was the best thing I have in the Waikiki area. The dishes were fresh and well prepared with an island twist. My server Omar made recommendations based on my preference of seafood, and the fruit de mar was outstanding. Manager Adrian came by to chat with me to make sure I had a great experience... what a wonderful way to end my dinner.

My husband and I recently had our anniversary dinner at the Beachhouse. Branden was our server. He did a fabulous job from knowledge of the food, menu, to service and presentation! My husband and I were able to watch the sunset and enjoy our delicious dinner. My husband did the wine pairing with the 4 course meal. He did an amazing job in selecting the wine pairing with each. In the final meal course, to my delight, I was introduced to a special delightful drink that I thought was an Espresso Martini.... I realized the drink wasn't made with the typical vodka and simple syrup. Branden introduced a special version not made with vodka for our anniversary... it was a special rum (!) The staff from the hostess to Branden offered excellent; very hospitable and cordial. Our hostess was able to place us in the same table we were in last year for our anniversary. Truly an excellent spot if you want to have an exceptional experience with loved ones.

The service and location is nice, the food was not the best though. The braised short rib was tough. Everything that we ordered tasted super basic. The deserts were good though, but my husband found a hair in his🥴

If you are looking for the culinary experience of a lifetime this is the place to go! Absolutely breathtaking atmosphere and views of ocean and sunset, incredible decor, a giant historic stunning tree in the middle of the courtyard. It is incredible! The ambiance is amazing with live music both inside and out. The services is over the top amazing! They are so attentive and thoughtful and always one step ahead of you. They make excellent recommendations as well. The food was outstanding. We believe this should be a Michelin star restaurant. We do a lot of fine dining and this place was one of the best meals we had. Each course kept getting better and better. They don’t rush you you either which we noticed at other restaurants in Honolulu. So far nothing compares to this place on the entire island. A must!
