If I could I would like to give 10 stars!
The view, service and food, everything was spectacular especially Julia made us that day very special!
At the beginning we sat down downstairs and thought that's Bar Miette but it wasn't! Bar Miette is located on the second floor. There was a nice staff showing us how to go up stairs which was nice.
The food was a relatively small portion as in it's a bar but delicious! We need to come back for focaccia for sure.

Been here a couple of times now. Simple breakfast and lunch menus but super delicious. Great coffee and amazing view too. Will definitely be back again to check out their baked goods (changes every week). Another reason to look forward to the weekend 😊😊

Bar Miette is a great spot for drinks, lunch or even breakfast. I’ve tried the dishes for all and there is a great range of simple favourites. Love the atmosphere here although the menu is a bit overpriced.

A little hidden bar on Eagle street that’s a must try.
The vibes of the place was just perfect, lovely music playing in the background n a lovely view of the bridge n the river right infront of you with dim lighting that just relaxed me!
Their menu isn’t so big, mainly bar nibbles but has a lovely variety to suit everyone.
I’ve tried the following,
- Oysters
- Shrimp cocktail
- Caesar salad but was with a twist!
Their ingredients were soo fresh & carefully picked up from local farmers which is something they’re so proud of n highlight while taking you through the menu.
The service was impeccable, the lovely Magdolina was there to help me & suggested what goes best with the wine that I picked & cared to fit my dietary requirements!
This restaurant is owned by the same owner of Gimlet by Cavendash in Melbourne, so if you know it then you’ll understand why this place is so special!

I recently had the pleasure of being served by Maj at Bar Miette, she made our experience truly enjoyable. From the moment we sat down, Maj greeted us with a warm smile and a friendly demeanor that instantly made us feel welcome. She recommend I try the cafe con leche cocktail and I’m glad I listened!

You can’t beat this amazing view!!! Had breakfast here and tried their sourdough crumpet and green juice.
Their green juice is very refreshing, and while the flavour of the sourdough crumpet, with the maple whipped butter was amazing, the crumpet itself was a touch dry. Maybe a bit more syrup on the side might help.
It is also very tricky to use walnuts for crumpets, because walnuts needs to be ultra fresh otherwise if even one of them are a bit stale, you can really taste it. Unfortunately ONE tiny little bit is not super fresh, so just a tiny bit of a let down.
The service was amazing, professional, friendly but non-intrusive. I am looking forward to brunching here again soon and trying other delicious food on their menu!
