"If you're looking for a quick drink or a bottle of smirnoff vodka, this is not the place. Your local liquor store is. Bar Keeper, a store that's been around for 10 year and counting, celebrates the art and ritual of drinking. They offer only the finest of bitters, curated spirits and tools for the ultimate craft of mixology." - Presshaus LA

"Bar Keeper stocks only small batch liquors in a beautifully appointed storefront in Silver Lake. In addition to finding everything you might need to set up a top-notch bar (they're so good that they do drink set consulting for HBO's Mad Men and supply many of LA's finer cocktail bars like The Varnish), they have a staff mixologist that can come to your home and mix for you and your friends. The experience is meant to be hands-on, getting everyone involved in the process. "

"Silver Lake staple Bar Keeper is making a move to Virgil Village in the late spring. The new location is less than a mile away from the present one, with twice the size, hopefully permitted for a tasting room once the doors open in July. Eater spoke with owner Joe Keeper, who opened the store 12 years ago in Sunset Junction. As one of LA’s chief vintage cocktail accessories stores, Bar Keeper is known as the place for home and professional bartenders, as Keeper sells some of the most interesting finds. But in April 2017, the landlord doubled the rent and tacked on a ten percent increase per year. There were other issues that prompted the need for a new space. Bar Keeper initially wanted to expand the store, and subsequently would have required them to make the it Americans With Disabilities Act compliant. When adding up these factors, Keeper had two choices: either go out of business, or move." - Mona Holmes

Barkeeper is one of the finest, unique, carefully curated liquor/mixologist/cocktail goods shops I have ever seen in the nation! Their friendly and knowledgeable staff make every visit a special journey. You will find and purchase something every time. I would not steer you wrong. Tasting events, celebrity spirits guru visits, hard to find spirits. What more do you want? Go. Now. Cheers!

Google
The great neighborhood mixology store. in addition to a brilliantly curated collection of spirits, tinctures, ans tools, Lonnie and the rest if the guys make it a joy to come into shop the way that it used to be fun to shop for music at local record stores. I always walk in for a hard to find beverage and walk out with 5+ aw dome and obscure spirits that ive never heard of before.

Google
Great selection of bitters, syrups, and high-quality bar tools. I originally visited for the Koriko shaker tin because Amazon was charging about $9 shipping for each tin piece. There are many items you can’t find at other local retailers. Time was of the essence so I purchased items I could’ve gotten off Amazon. I probably spent about $7 - $15 more than an Amazon purchase but I was able to inspect the quality, touch the product and demonstrate bar movements, and test out compatibility of tools. It only took me 20 minutes each-way while the Giant Online Logistics Warehouse would have charged some shipping and taken at least 5 days for me to get the items and determine if they are suitable. I like to support local businesses and our local economy because I’d hate for us to have to use app to get items to shop if we lose our businesses. Parking was easy. Its store hours seem to cater to evening hospitality works. Customer service is okay. They aren’t focused on people and seem a little selective about which customers get greeted and offered assistance. Both times I visited, the staff were focused on tasks. It would be better for the business to add some value to the customer buying experience. We pay more to shop there and it should take the experience up a notch—make it dynamic and interactive by incorporating classes, events, tastings, and or demonstrations.

Google
Amazing selection of bitters - you can taste them in the store! Lots of nifty tools and barware. Fair prices on liquor as well.

Google
Lonnie and Wesley are two of the most knowledgeable folks I’ve had the pleasure to encounter. They’re conversational, engaging, and helpful. The store itself is a fantastic selection of all sorts of wonderful liquors, aperitifs, mixers, bitters, glassware and bar supplies. Highly worth a visit, even if you’re knew to cocktails, or building out your home bar.

Google
Virgil Village - that is the short name for this area and there are some interesting places to check out. Everything you need here to make you the host with the most! Superb selection of fine whiskeys and spirits from around the world, plus bitters and all of the bar tools than any amateur or professional bar keep would love. + find some great small gifts here too! Can’t wait to come back!

Google
These guys are awesome. They're great shopkeepers and wonderful neighbors. Such a fantastic selection of booze and bar tools/glass sets and you can always get good recommendations to try something new. They are also super friendly to my little clown dog who has finally learned not to jump around in there. Would hate if he broke any of the awesome glass collections they have!!

Google
I shop at Bar Keeper maybe once a month, they have a really solid selection of spirits and bar supplies - I am especially impressed by their vermouth assortment. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful if you ask, not pushy. If you’re in the area and you like making cocktails, definitely stop by, you’ll find something interesting.

Yelp
This spot never disappoints! If you enjoy making drinks at home- everything from mocktails to decadent aged añejo cocktails- this is your spot. The gentlemen behind the counter know absolutely everything about everything inside this shop and most (all?) items have been personally curated and brought in by them, so you won't hear anyone say "I'm not sure" to any question you may have. They have everything from mixers, glasses, utensils, spirits and what must be the largest collection of bitters in LA county. This spot is such a gem and with plenty of street parking, there's no reason you should miss out on this utopia.

Shelby S.

Yelp
Super nice, knowledgeable and honest. Great recommendations without me feeling ridiculous for knowing nothing

Anika M.

Yelp
The business is a nice place to get your home bar needs. They have everything to make a cocktail (glassware, shakers, alcohol, garnish picks, strainers, jiggers, and much more). The staff were friendly to begin with however my friend and I were the only ones in the store at the time. As we were browsing and looking at different items my shopping/browsing experience made me feel a bit surrounded. Most of the items we wanted to further look at were received unsolicited remarks. Most of the bar tools they have are labeled and priced with description. As we browsed through the jiggers and pour spouts/speed pourers the staff continued to give his unsolicited opinion. We wanted to continue to browse through the selection so the comments were brushed off. Our selection consisted of a shaker tin, Hawthorne strainer, jigger and speed pourer. At checkout the staff had an issue finding the names of pour spouts in the POS system as he stated he didn't know the name. After bagging my items with a confused face asked me what I was going to use the shaker tin for and with a smirk told me "you do know you need the other half, right?" After receiving his judgement I politely let the staff know that I was purchasing it as a replacement for an incomplete shaker I have at home. The concept of this shop is nice but the experience took it home.

Yelp
Thoughtfully curated large selection of hard to find spirits. Knowledgeable bartending staff. Love this place!

Tracy S.

Yelp
Knowledgeable staff and an awesome selection of specialty liquors and vintage glass wear to make any mixology have some unique character!

Wendy C.

Yelp
Excellent well curated selection for the home cocktail enthusiast. Staff are knowledgeable and happy to share their knowledge.

Teri W.

Yelp
Super helpful staff. Great selection of alcohol and bitters. Really felt set up for success when I left!

Yelp
Look no further! Bar Keeper is your one-stop shop for all your mixed drinks needs - truly a dream! What makes this place even better are the people. The owner, Joe, is such a kind and friendly person who makes everyone feel welcome to his shop. No shortage of knowledge in the world of mixology here and I couldn't recommend this place to ya'll more - go and check this place out soon!

Donovan H.

Yelp
See a lot of mixed reviews, but I gotta say this place totally works for me. Staff is fun and knowledgeable. I found everything I was looking for in one place, and whenever I need something else, I know where to find it!!

Francesca M.

Yelp
A beautiful store with a really awesome curation of liquor. Every bottle is more beautiful than the next. If you can afford it, this store is an awesome find. They have lots of cool bartender tools and books, too. Great gift ideas if you have friends/family that like to make cocktails. I only wish the prices were more affordable for a wider group of people - especially their glassware. But go check it out for yourself!

Jorga H.

Yelp
Simply fantastic. Amazing array of hard to find ingredients for your libationary enjoyment. I've bought some items based on the recommendations of the friendly, helpful staff and I've yet to be disappointed. Highly recommend.

Justin K.

Yelp
Do you REALLY like mixing drinks? This place is for the booze snobs, the epicures, and maybe even the dilettantes like me. The staff knows their stuff and can rattle off descriptions of the inventory while guiding you to a purchase that fits your needs. The inventory consists of brands that really take pride in their products, potentially at the expense of scale. So everything you buy here can be used to make a very fun drink. Since the spotlight is on boutique makers and unique/rare offerings from more widely known makers, the prices have a small premium baked in. Some of the more commonplace stuff here can be obtained elsewhere at cheaper prices. I just wish the website had an inventory page of some sort, but that might be too much of an ask for a small shop. I'll keep showing up here once or twice a year for their goodies.

Ari R.

Yelp
Bar Keeper is like a liquor candy store. They have everything. An insanely curated selection of liquor, bitters, vintage glassware, shakers, bar spoons and other barware. They have the most esoteric bottles... you can always find what you need for a recipe or an amazing gift. Plus, the staff is uber knowledgeable. You'll either thank me or curse me for turning you onto this place. You can get in trouble here, that's for sure! A perfect store.

Steph C.

Yelp
We used to live in Los Feliz, and Bar Keeper was a go-to spot for us when we needed some nice alcohol or a booze or booze-themed gift. Now that we've moved, and they've moved, I understand that it isn't just a neighborhood shop. If there's a better or even equivalent store of its kind elsewhere in L.A., I certainly haven't heard of it. The new location is great, even better than the old one. Parking is easier on Hoover than in the dead center of Sunset Junction, and the space is like three times bigger. The inventory is the same as ever, great quality liquor and liquor-related products. We might be even more devoted drinkers than we were when I wrote that first review way back when. We still use that cocktail shaker and that $10 ice cube tray (in fact, we went back and bought a second one almost immediately; those trays are a great buy), and have been through many handles of alcohol purchased at the old location. This may not be a neighborhood store anymore, but that doesn't matter. When it's time for a trip to Bar Keeper, no other place will do.

Yelp
Disappointing experience. Rude, dismissive staff who seemed annoyed with my request for rum recommendations. I understand how stressful working during a pandemic can be but damn did they just seem to want us to get out of there. Had it not been a desperate last minute Christmas shopping trip we would have gladly walked away. They have a heck of a selection of bitters but when we asked for a recommendation we were simply reminded that there were dozens and he wouldn't be able to give us a rec because he doesn't know what we like. Ok. Guy. I asked for a rum recommendation and was told that they had a large selection and didn't know what I liked. So I told them what I wanted to make and just picked out a dark rum, then was told it's not what I wanted. I just googled one of the ones of the shelf and it said it was a prime rum so we grabbed it. We purchased our Rum and barware and left. As a person of color, I'm used to being treated terribly but it was a first for her, my wife was so angry and in tears she wanted me to return our purchase but the receipt and the store currently has a no refund policy. I would look at supporting another store. I gave it two stars cuz the rum was good.

Yelp
(Shopped 04/06/18 FR @ 4:00pm...and several times before): If you had a home bar or thought about starting one...this place was certainly a keeper that satisfied most of your needs! The Bar Keeper has been around for over 12 years, and for about five of those I've managed to make my way in every so often mostly to curiously see what they had and on occasion made a purchase. Now that they recently moved to what the wannabes have dubbed "Virgil Village", will I make the longer trek along Hoover St.!? PURCHASE Spruce Creek Jalapeno Margarita Mix ($14.00): A combination of fresh limes and lemon juice with a hint of orange and the subtle sweetness of pure agave nectar for a perfect blend of tangy and spice, the jalapeno flavor will have you dancing around like a Mexican jumping bean! I loved to make shaken ghetto cocktails, and this recent addition to my bar cart has been a welcomed libation. I haven't found this artisanal concoction anywhere else, and it was certainly pricey, but with all the natural ingredients and amazing flavors, this was one of the few times this value-minded consumer was willing to pay the price - salud https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=E23N_Grc6ii71b4lOwcFEg&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw! SERVICE Immediately as I entered through the door, I received a rousing "hello!" from the two gents who manned this boozy beverage bastion. Right off the bat, they were willing to assist me on my liquor looky-loo lazy day as I meticulously went from each table display, shelf cases and such fascinated by all the fun adult things that could be had here. They were absolutely knowledgeable, and I loved to learn something each time I visited. Eventually, I grabbed what I came for, they beautifully wrapped it up as usual https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=_St7VEqW4dNkN24fQgbMQw&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw, and off I went to make some margaritas. Always a pleasure to case the joint until the next time! PARKING (Varied; n/a this time) Thankfully - or maybe not! - I lived a hop, skip, and a jump away so I got some exercise on this particular sunshine day (for you Brady Bunch fans out there!). Otherwise, there was metered street parking along the main drag of Sunset Blvd., various makeshift paid parking lots, and a ton of resident streets that may or may not have timed parking based on the day and time posted on the posted totem street signs. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE Fanciful window displays invited you into a small but maximized space filled from floor to ceiling with an assortment of EVERYTHING you needed for a bar (I LOVE pineapples hint hint https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=E9M1gd7imKIjSmJ0ZCOQwg&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw) and hardly any space to walk alongside anyone else https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=QQNJ_SbopdzvtIRMZhJqCw&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. At the end of the wooden planks was where you gave your money willingly! Plenty of natural lighting came through the large front glass door and windows while minimal ceiling track lighting admirably filled in the rest. There were no TVs while music quietly played in the background. ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL A lover of all libations, a casual bartender, and a true mad scientist at heart, the Bar Keeper was a vice I didn't need so close to home but greatly appreciated! Over the years, I only purchased the three different margarita mixes they sold, but was always enamored by the numerous small-batch no-name brand liquors they carried albeit with usually higher price tags, but at least in my personal experience I didn't mind the high price I was paying because the product was great! They also had a ton of bar equipment, books, knickknacks https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=crcEc4yk4wvUXXPOtEXkFA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw, a wonderful bitters collection, and more! I'm saddened that their new location is further away now and not just down the street, so I guess I really have to really exercise to get there now. I found total value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $15.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice...AMEX! 5.0 STARS

Tara H.

Yelp
Good selection and visual merchandising but everything is just a little bit more expensive here, the same spirit bottle you would get up the street for 30 would be 36 here. Not enough to leave but just enough to not feel like you got a deal. My partner and I aren't doing sugar right now and are trying to do like a skinny margarita and just be mindful about our sugar intake so I purchased some orange blossom water to mix with some sugar free agave and mezcal we just prefer mezcal and drinks with a kick and when I was checking out the cashier said "you're not thinking of actually combining these two?" And I thought damn how rude I caught myself explaining why and I didn't come to this store to explain my purchase just to buy something. I live around the corner and won't be back. They actually were rude to another femme presenting person and told them to wash their bike and that person said some kind of clever retort in defense making an awkward environment. I usually like to support my own community but they're too judgey here. Orange and mezcal aren't even weird together even though it's more of a floral vibe so I'm assuming they're also incompetent about pairings or maybe just bored.

Deborah L.

Yelp
It's been in my to do list to write a review for this place, because the experience was just so terrible and I feel like it is my duty to share it with the public. Really snotty, egotistical person that works there. Made me feel like a complete moron because I couldn't describe what type of Amaro I like.

Ira I.

Yelp
I love shopping Barkeeper. The staff is highly knowledgeable and always provides excellent suggestions. And it's such a beautiful store - like a museum!

Kimberly N.

Yelp
Always helpful. Intersting and tasty new booze. They are doing a great call in/walk-up and pick up service. As a safety precautions the store may not be entered at the moment. Can't wait for the fun little tasting room in the back to be open again.

Anna B.

Yelp
Great selection and the most wonderful employees! I love stopping in there to purchase or just to browse. Great place for gifts!

Victoria R.

Yelp
Bar Keeper is an incredible specialty liquor, vintage glassware, and bitters shop right in the heart of LA's hipster community of Silver Lake. We popped in on a whim exploring the area and fell immediately in love. It's fun to look at all the interesting wares and even more entertaining to taste the bitters ranging from classic to exotic (think passion fruit), to downright weird (I'm looking at you pizza bitters!). The staff lets your browse without badgering to help, but provides assistance with a smile and good humor, if asked. We loved it so much, we took a friend the next weekend. It's really great for your cocktail expert friends, but fun for those looking to browse. We also went home with our own habanero bitters, which we put in everything- no joke, this bitters in just plain seltzer water is delicious!

J J.

Yelp
I bought multiple items including a bottle of walnut liqueur which was $75. I didn't notice it until I came home and price seemed excessively high. So, I did an online search including a local liquor store near where I live and range of price was $40-45. Please be careful of rip off prices.

Dor O.

Yelp
Nice staff some good prices and awesome selection The bitter section is totally awesome

Xiomara P.

Yelp
Great place for gifts! Stocked up on reusable straws, shot glasses and MEZCAL a while back. They have such a beautiful selection, everything was so organized, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I went a little over a month ago looking for a Mezcal to gift. Since then I have gone back a few times and am disappointed that I cant find the bottle I bought for my friend! She continues to rave about it and I can still taste the sweet smokiness of the El Samaritano Mexicano, their Tobala was my personal fave, sweet notes and so smooth. Highly recommend :)

Tracey R.

Yelp
Why didn't we find this place sooner? We were on a search today for 2 specific ingredients for a virtual cocktail class we're taking tonight and our research brought us to the Bar Keeper. We jumped in the car and found our new favorite store in LA. I think we spent 45 minutes talking to the owner, Joe, who is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. You'll find spirits and accessories here that you can't find anywhere else in LA. Go check it out.

Susie F.

Yelp
Spent $250 the other day and they would not give me store credit for one $20 item 4 days later due to "covid". That's a load of bullshit. People go out of their way to support small businesses, and in return they need to support their community back. Good selection on items. Happy they exist. Better customer service pls!

Peter P.

Yelp
I had to ask for help with 3 support staff working, including the owner, none of them offered to help. The owner is very rude, short and dismissive. Poor customer service overall, first time I've experienced in LA, especially within the Beverage industry.

James J.

Yelp
Lockdown has driven me to drink! And I've taken to getting lost in new cocktail recipes, which led me to here. Been here twice now, both times, super helpful, great recommendations, friendly vibe, and easy to park. So happy that this store is on my way home from work, fun to pick up odd bottles to add to our growing home bar.. We picked up Mr. Black last time, an amazing coffee liquor from Australia and have been loving it. Can't wait to try more items. It's going to be hard not to stop here every week...

Wayne C.

Yelp
Bar keeper is the best liquor store in la - bar none. They know their liquor and set the bar very high. Barring any parking issues, bar keeper is my go to. My uncle would love this place but he's behind bars. Price: reasonable Selection: amazing - every type of rum, whiskey, vodka you ever wanted to try Service: awesome, friendly, unpretentious, helpful to beginners Parking: blows but thats silver lake

Dana R.

Yelp
OMG! This is the place. An amazing selection of everything and all the spirits that make cocktails great. Informed assistance provided by George introduced me to new delights i can't wait to try. Prices are very reasonable, selection is deep and amazing. Parking is easy.

Sophie N.

Yelp
The two gentlemen working (I assume they were the owners) were so kind and accommodating in helping me find a birthday present for a loved one. Very attentive but not pushy/trying to up sell me on anything, and they have a lovely selection of both new and vintage stuff. Had a very positive experience which isn't always the norm at boutique-y shops on this part of town- was nice to browse without having employees breathing down my neck, trying to get me to spend hundreds of dollars. Would highly recommend to someone looking to buy a fellow bartender / drink lover some lovely highball glasses or spirits!

Ryder T.

Yelp
If you like cocktails, or drinking, or ever plan on making a cocktail, or drinking, visit this shop. If you don't drink, just go and admire everything. Its all so beautiful inside! In summary, huge selection of bitters and other cocktail additives, as well as a good selection of fine and rare liquors. Also has everything you need to actually operate a bar. Downsides are lack of books and prices are not the greatest. This is not a wholesale shop, or set up as a restaurant/bar supply, but you could use it as one. Actual bars probably have places they can go for better prices but I can't imagine many places having a more comprehensive selection for the retail crowd. The selection of cocktail glasses was a really cool part. Obviously, there are a lot of glasses out there, but they had some gorgeous ones and a decent selection if you were setting up a nice bar in your home. They also had punch dispensers and a potentially excessive selection of Absinthe spoons. The bar tools section was pretty comprehensive. They had muddlers, can openers, knives, peelers, bowls, shakers, ice cube trays, mats, cutting boards, towels, cleaning supplies, tweezers, stirrers (so many), beakers, strainers, measuring cups and good god anything else that you might have needed. Like I mentioned above, tons of bitters and excellent liquors, so if you know what you are doing (or just want to experiment!) this place will sort you out. One thing I felt was lacking were books. They had a small stand of books in the back but really poor selection. Once one buys all of the fancy cocktail making gear, how will they learn to use it? There are some really fantastic cocktail books out there, but you will not find them here.

Erik L.

Yelp
The quintessential wonderland for home or professional bars. Literally looks like a Harry Potter apothecary is bottles and shiny tools. Sure, there's the internet these days so you could order any obscure ingredient right? Wrong. The shopkeeper is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I tell him I'm working on making a good old fashioned and Manhattan, and need bitters. He walks me over and guides me through sampling over a dozen flavors of whiskey bitters. A whole new world opened to me! Yes some of the toys and ingredients get a little expensive though, but if you're looking to get a little more serious about home bar tending, you can justify it.

Christopher S.

Yelp
This is such a great place. A very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Have an amazing collection of bitters and gin

Brittany F.

Yelp
A couple of years ago some friends invited us over for dinner at their place. When we arrived, they had printed cocktail menus for the evening and we had the choice of a few different meticulously hand crafted cocktails. I was so impressed. Bar Keeper gives you the tools to impressive anyone who appreciates the art of the cocktail. Whether you are wanting to create a masterpiece yourself, or a buy a gift for another mixologist, you'll likely find everything you need and more at Bar Keeper. They offer an assortment of bar tools, bitters, and even sell unique hard alcohols. Prices are fair and staff is friendly.

Dallas H.

Yelp
What a great store! The vintage barware is so fun and the alcohol selection is fantastic. All make great unique gifts for those hard to buy for friends! VERY knowledgeable and helpful staff. Will be coming back again soon!

kristina m.

Yelp
Helpful, knowledgeable guys running the place and a fantastic selection of booze. I wanted a nice bottle of mezcal that my friend from Oaxaca recommended and they had it.

Jarred C.

Yelp
This place is great. I started working in bars 20 years ago, but am new to LA. Everyone I know here kept telling me about the store everyone loves. As it turns out it's a 10 minute walk from my apartment. They have everything you want as a professional or home bartender. A great selection of craft spirits, tools, glassware, bitters, syrups. I couldn't be happier that I found Bar Keeper.

Denis S.

Yelp
I didn't have a clear picture of what heaven would look like until I came here. Heaven is high quality booze on the walls. Heaven is fifty different types of bitters. Heaven is shakers, strainers, bar spoons, jiggers, and all the other things that make mixing a cocktail an art. Heaven is a very friendly and knowledgeable work force who will answer all your questions, give you the history of every item in the store, and rather than oversell you, do the opposite and tell you not to buy everything all at once. In short, heaven is Bar Keeper.

German M.

Yelp
Great spot for fine liquor, good prices! I was running late and they were about to close, I called to tell them I was on my way...they waited for me after they had closed! Now thats good customer service, which is rare these days.... I was also very pleased with their prices, very reasonable...most specialty shops like this usually Have outrages prices. Thank you guys! Bottoms Up

Shannon R.

Yelp
I've been poking my head into here for years, laughing at the witty napkins, intimidated by the wall of bitters, and gazing adoringly at the beautiful stemware, but never seriously purchasing anything. Now, I'm slowly building up my bar at home, and I couldn't for the life of me find grapefruit bitters for a cocktail I wanted to try. Bar Keeper to the rescue! Not only did they have grapefruit bitters, they had at least 5 different ones for me to taste and compare. I had a lot of fun trying the different bitters and finding one I liked the best. I was left to my own devices, and while it can be overwhelming to navigate for the first time, I liked that no one was influencing my choice or trying to make a sale. I picked up a small bottle of Sun Liquor's Grapefruit Bitters, and I love it so much! It was perfect for my cocktail, and a bottle is going to last me forever. The guy at the register was very friendly and confirmed that I had chosen well. I have a feeling that if I had actually needed help, he would've been more than happy to assist me.

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
OMG this place is amazing!!! So many bitters is was hard to choose. The sampling bar made it easier though. We ended up with a lavendar and rosemary basil. Can't wait to get them home to Brooklyn to make something delicious. Also got an adorable little ice cube dome to display on our bar for $12. Just saw the same one in a vintage store in Palm Springs for close to $40. The only thing wrong with this place is that they don't have a location in Brooklyn. Wah!

David S.

Yelp
Rude as hell employee on the phone! Called to as a question and the guy acted like he was so busy he had not a second to talk. This place is off my list for sure don't care how cool it is. An asshole is an asshole!

This place is a dream come true. The best liquor store in Los Angeles. All the specific, lovely things you're looking for can be found here. Delicious rum, mezcal, whiskey, vintage bar wear and all the standard stirring, measuring, juicing, slicing Jazz you need to bartend.

Yelp
The best selection of hard to find liquor and amazing bar equipment. One stop shop for the best in cocktail supplies

Yelp
Often a solid selection, but way overpriced. And if it's a popular or rare liquor the markup over MSRP is extreme. Not worth it.

Yelp
Overpriced. BevMo has the same selection and better deals. Charged me $50 for a misleading non-returnable gift box that didn't include any alcohol. Would not go back here. Sorry, just looking out for the people.

Yelp
A really impressive and well-curated selection of liquors and bar ephemera. Unfortunately, my customer service experience was not great but I suspect this is not the norm. I'll definitely give them another chance.
