Banyan Tree Phuket

This hotel is pure bliss. We stayed in a two bedroom pool villa. Very spacious and a lovely heated pool with Jacuzzi. Breakfast is knockout - huge amount of choice and very fresh. Restaurants are all superb. We loved Saffron and Hojo. The pool staff are lovely, particular shout out to “O”. The bike hire is a must as it’s quite an expansive site. The beach is a short ride away and very beautiful. The exclusive Xana beach club was a little bit disappointing - the staff were very slow and disorganised. Also not enough beds if you are not there ahead of the army of Russians!||Overall cannot recommend enough. We were very sad to leave.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Banyan Tree Phuket and are leaving feeling refreshed and recharged. The property is absolutely stunning, with beautiful surroundings and an amazing atmosphere that made us feel relaxed the moment we arrived. The service was top-notch – every staff member we encountered was attentive and thoughtful. The villa itself was spacious and lovely, with a private pool that was simply mind-blowing! Everything at the resort smelled divine, so much so that we couldn’t resist splurging at the gift shop to bring some of those amazing scents back home. One of the highlights of our stay was the private BBQ dinner right in our villa. Banyan Tree sent a fantastic chef, Mafia (yes, that’s his name!), who prepared an absolutely delicious meal. He was so attentive and thoughtful, making sure everything was perfect for my wife, two kids, and me. One BBQ set was more than enough for the four of us, and the experience was unforgettable. A big thank you to Chef Mafia for his exceptional service and for making it such a memorable evening. Though the villa felt a little dated, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. The hotel was also kind enough to grant us a late check-out at 1 PM for our check out time tomorrow, which gives us some extra time to enjoy our final moments here. Thank you to the entire Banyan Tree Phuket team for making our stay so special. We can’t wait to come back!

I am sharing specifically about the La Petite Chef which is a permanent activity at the hotel as I was not staying here. So my rating for the room was for the experience. It cost about half of what would could be a similar experience back in Singapore. There are 3 days (Thurs - Sat) of one dinner session per night, for just 6 tables (groups or couples) per session. We sat the middle section of the room and it worked out quite well, although I think there’s not much difference. It was casual, with kids welcomed as well, so no need to dress up for the occasion. You have to book in advance, and more slots seem to be available if you book in person at the concierge than online. The experience was very interesting as your table comes alive from projections above the table before each course is served - so make sure you are ready with your camera once the host announces the next course, if you intend to record the proceedings. You have to choose your meal at the time of your booking and do note that drinks are not included although a glass of champagne is. The host was very engaging and I would recommend having a meal here when you stay at Phuket, especially at Laguna area. I won’t give away the experience with a video but here’s the menu we chose.

Very relaxing and enjoyable stay at the Banyan Tree Phuket. The surroundings are really beautiful and very lush. We loved relaxing at the Pool Bar and were very well looked after by the staff. The hotel is a short shuttle or walk to Bang Tao Beach and they provide towels and have a bar right on the beach. Breakfast can be a little hectic, and service a bit slow, so it’s good to get there early. Overall, a really comfortable stay. Wish it could have been longer!

This review is for Le Petit Chef. It’s such a great full place for the couple. I would like to notice, that every food was absolutely unthinkable. Unfortunately this place is based too far from our beach. If you will be here - you will be in a good spirit! See ya again!

Superb family vacation in Phuket with 6 of us across three generations. Stayed in a 3 bedroom pool villa. Beautifully appointed and spacious villa with a functional kitchen. Extravagant breakfast buffet. Also enjoyed the Thai and Japanese dinner venues. Played golf twice which was convenient (course is adjacent to property!). Service is exceptional.

The experience was just unbelievable. A valentine’s day i will never ever forget. Me and my fiance were greeted with a very welcoming smile alongside with a conplimentary drink. Cook, the hostess and the rest of the amazing team pulled off an amazing show tonight. The food exceeded my expectations i was so full lmao. This is the standard everyone!! Will definitely come back!

We’ve had the most incredible stay here for our honeymoon. I’ve stayed with my family before but it’s been so magical to show my husband one of my favourite places in the world! We cannot recommend this hotel enough. What always makes this place so special is the incredible service from all of the staff - you truly feel so looked after and cared for throughout your stay. We’d like to specially thank O for all of his care and effort, as well as the rest of the pool bar staff - Tiffy, Gem and Tle. The food has been delicious and authentic, so huge praise to the chef also (Poo)! We are so sad to leave but we’ll definitely be back!
