Our family took us here for lunch and the banh xeo did not disappoint! The pancake itself was light and crispy, perfect amount of filling inside that was super tasty and came plenty of lettuce and herbs for wrapping. Service is fast though I can appreciate May be a bit hectic but that’s part of the charm in Vietnam! Highly recommend.

Michelin bib gourmand They are known for their banh xeo but I personally enjoyed the other dishes more. Their banh xeo was good but because it had mung beans (or so it tasted like it), I felt that the supposed "seafood" taste was diluted / masked a bit which might be a downside for seafood enthusiasts like me. - Chicken Wings with Fish Sauce: These wings were really tasty and not too salty, even though the name might make you think they would be. They reminded me of homemade fried chicken, which was a nice, comforting touch. - Spring Rolls: These were surprisingly good, even for someone like me who doesn’t usually like spring rolls. They were full of flavor without being too heavily seasoned. The portion was big, and they were served super hot, which made them feel really fresh. - Guava shake: refreshing and helped us cool down from the heat. All the low reviews regarding the taste is true. The ban xeo was quite tasteless and had to put chilies with fish sauce to add taste. Due to popularity by bloggers and youtubers this place is packed with people. This is mainly a tourist joint. However, the portion of the ban xeo was generous and they gave lots of vegetables. I think the staff taking order was too busy to smile 😬

I come to this spot every time I visit Saigon! I've seen that there are some mixed reviews, but I think the Michelin Rec can throw expectations off (it's definitely not The French Laundry). But, it's on the list for a reason—and I think it's because they're made by aunties who are masters! The bánh xéo is super thin, light, crispy, fresh, and flavorful. As a Vietnamese-American, I can truly appreciate how good these are! You can watch the ladies expertly make these Vietnamese crepes at the outdoor kitchen. You'll order at the table and the waitstaff will bring you your dishes to the table—I always get a bánh xéo with fried spring rolls. Once you wrap them in the lettuce with herbs and dip it into the fish sauce with some chilies... chef's kiss! It's such a delightful dish!

Great place that's been in existence since the 1950s as a small hole in the wall of 3rd district, and also close to the well known French cathedral. The price point of this establishment is adjusted for inflation, especially in the last 4 years. Also, notice many tour guides bringing their guests here. Very crispy, delicious tasting crepe sandwiches ($6.75). Definitely better than what any place in the Midwest states can do. Therefore, good job to the restaurant, staff. Hay qua!

So disappointing. My mom mentioned this place has been famous since she was young so we wanted to try it together. The banh xeo was crispy… but that’s about it. Overall, the batter was bland and fish sauce was tasteless. Overhyped.

Good Vietnamese pancake. Try their yummy stir-fried beef dry noodles. In the evening it’s cooler and more comfortable, the place is clean even though it’s located in an alleyway. Price is reasonable.

Food came out at a good pace. Customer service was quick. I came during lunch so it wasn’t as busy as dinner. Their spring and summer rolls are super good. The banh xeo is HUGE! Definitely something you want to share. It’s filled with protein.
