"A Sandwich to Be Reckoned With There are more complex items in Vietnam's culinary arsenal, but for sheer, simple enjoyment few things beat the humble banh mi. A filled baguette stuffed with all variety of goodies from grilled pork to pickled daikon and tasty pate, the sandwich has transcended its origins to become one of the country's greatest food exports. Purists would argue that the best versions can be found in the central regions (and particularly in Hoi An), but Hanoi has some sterling choices, too, such as Banh My Thien Su, which offers some of the most generously stuffed baguettes in the city."
Best Banh Mi store me and my family has eaten in since 2001. Cheap bánh mì only 20-30k each. The ingredients are all so good especially the pate and the butter. Would recommend for travelers and locals.

Best Banh Mi since 2001. Price very cheap ranging from 20-30k. The ingredients are great like the pate and the butter.

Still one of the best Banh Mi in Hanoi. This kind of Banh Mi is meant to be eaten cold. Nothing is heated at all but the outside crust is very crispy and blends well with the fillings. All of the toppings are amazing but with a hint of homemade chilli and pepper salt, it would be even better.

We were staying in the hotel right next door so we found this place pretty easily. Hotpot is great value at 250k for two people ($5usd pp) which includes a variety of meats and seafood, noodles, vegies etc. you certainly wont go hungry but you can add more if you wish. Drinks standard prices (beer 20k). Would definitely we eat here again.

I have been a loyal customer for almost 30 years. Every time I come back to my hometown, I always visit here for the quality of Bánh Mì. But today is the last time I have Bánh Mì here. Ordered 2 take out Bánh Mì total of 70k but the quality had gone down significantly, no sight of Giò/Chả, ruốc or Xúc xích đỏ, the signatures of Bánh Mì Hà Nội. A total let down for this price.

Hands down one of the best bánh mì spots in town. The customer service could use a big upgrade, though. I get that cranky vibes are kinda standard for traditional places like this, but it wouldn’t hurt if they tried to seem a bit friendlier. Big plus, they’ve started to accept bank transfers recently (finally).

I came here jet lagged at 6am on a Monday. Wonderful food and experience. I highly recommend coming at 6am to beat the crowd

Not a bad place here… I should have eat on the spot than brought back to my hotel. The owner is kind enough to cut into half & offered us extra plastic bag.
