I ordered the option with bbq pork and then realized I meant to order the roast pork lol. The people working there are super nice and accommodating. They added roast pork and it was a winner! I found the bbq pork a little too sweet, like sweet meatballs really. But the bread is crisp and fresh. I paid 60k VND for a small (more bc of the additional meat). Cash only of course. A few chairs out for one to sit and people watch.

It was a nice Banh Mi, but not strong in flavor, maybe because I took the meatballs banh mi, and after when I asked the guy what's your best dish he thought that was complimenting him, so I can't really recommend any dish just take a minute or two to see what they serve. I didn't do that because I was sure that meatballs meant beef but it was braised pork :( I also can't recommend that you expect him to understand your English :)

Pretty yummy banh mi spot. The staff are very nice and friendly here. The bread is definitely on the much flakier side with the inside hollowed out a little. I got the bbq pork banh mi and the meat was super flavorful. I like that they toasted up my sandwich before I got it. A much shorter line than banh mi huynh hoa around the corner but still very good. Would recommend to others.

Great banh mi, we had a bbq pork and an omelette banh mi and they were both so delicious. The bread was fresh and crunchy, both fillings were freshly made and hot with a great spicy sauce. Sad, we only discovered it on our last morning before the bus.

BBQ pork is good - vegetable and meat is good combination. The bbq pork has savoury sauce, making the whole banh mi more moist, not too dry to eat :) mixed meat is mainly ham (processed meat), not too much to my liking. Searing is limited, so most people eat by the road side or just take out. Though there was a queue, but the preparation was fast, queue for about 10mins, got our order within the next 10mins.

Very good banh mi place in HCMC. You got to try it. Bread was super crispy. The ingredients were fresh and tasteful. You got to try this place. I had my banh mi pair with a kumquat ice tea and it was the perfect combo.

This Banh mi shop is close to another famous Banh mi shop and in my opinion it’s better. It’s half the price, has options of different filling, there’s no line, plus they pack the veggies in there for you. The bread was light and crispy and the ham, pickled veggies, herbs, pate and butter are well balanced. Will definitely be coming back!

If you're staring at banh mi huynh hoa, look left, walk down the road about 80m and do a hook left turn. That is how close this place Is. Not exactly the same but extremely similar in most ways. Is also 26k cheaper per sandwich. Have one... you won't regret it.
