If you‘re looking for something special, made ion Venezia by real people - this is the place. All women’s clothes are made in the Women‘s Prison on Giudecca by inmates. Very fancy feminine dresses and blouses. Love this shop.

The original store is closed since April 2023, but they have moved to Campo S. Aponal, at 1160 San Polo near Rialto. They do not have a telephone line, nor internet. I have submitted the change of address to Google. Highly original design and materials from a unique social project. The clothes are made by women incarcerated at Sacca Fisola, where they are taught skills like dressmaking. When they leave prison, many set up in business as seamstresses.

Lovely clothes made by prison women, i bought a gorgeous shirt with those handmade pins that splash it with color. Highly recommend this store. Staff is wonderful.
