We came here for their vegan night and stayed for the amazing cocktails! Everything was fresh and delicious and the staff were incredible. 10/10 recommend for amazing food and quality drinks with a great atmosphere.

Groovy little bar and restaurant! Chips were especially good, the burger nice too. Set in a nice green leafy setting. Worth a visit.

I went there this Saturday and got kicked out within 15 minutes, after getting given a drink from the dj, the security did not care about our relationship with anyone we got removed from the premises despite our $20 donation and it appears that the front of house cannot comprehend this and refuse to believe that this generous donation is enough. The bakers employees physically assaulted my friend and myself for having a drink from the bar. Would not recommend. Extremely rude bouncers and will assault you if you buy a drink

We were the only people there and they kept insisting we sit down, even giving me my first warning after I stood up to buy a shot, citing covid stuff. Spent way too much money on this place. They’re worried about being shut down? Obviously they’ve evidently done the wrong thing in the past to cause it cause we did nothing to cause it.

Bakers Lane is a great venue, all around. Excellent food, short wait times and fantastic front of house service. Great for lunch, dinner, and really good as a night venue from 10pm to 5am on Friday and Saturday nights. I think the best thing about Bakers Lane is the staff. Very friendly at the bar and the security staff are very pleasant. If you are out on a weekend, definitely check Bakers Lane out.

Love the music. Some heavy edm mixed with some pop. I was probably the oldest person in the joint it def for the younger croud. Was expecting more with cover charge and a big rep but it's just a shoe box with a bar and a dance floor 🤣. Still was a great fun mainly for the music. Go there if your sick of hearing the same 10 songs from the clubs in Hobart.

Nice little boutique bar. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The stacked chips I had was really tasty. Not too much slice, heaps of food and a reasonable price. Good selection of beers and spirits on hand.

Absolutely amazing !!! Great food and service, the atmosphere of the venue is enchanting so much that you never want to leave. It is the perfect place for an evening out. Had the best time, thank you all staff for a great night.

Who would have thought I'd find great American style food in Launceston! Was in town for a week for work and had been to all the TripAdvisor "must try" places so went on a limb and gave this place a shot. I can honestly say this is better than most things in the area. Food was exceptional. We split the seafood gumbo and special BBQ plate with brisket, wings, and ribs. I've been living in Sydney for a few years without tasting accurate imitation American southern food until coming down to Tasmania. The flavours were on point, though parts of the execution left things to be desired. The gumbo had the right flavours and perfect amount of kick. The ribs fell off the bone. Fried chicken seemed like it had been sitting around for a bit so lost the crispy on the outside, though made up for it with decadent juicy on the inside texture. Sidewinder fries need to be on every menu. Decor leaves a little to be desired; loved the art but had a too heavy of a dive bar feel. All in all I will be back any time I'm in Launceston and look forward to what next seasons menu holds.

I absolutely love this place. Am in Launceston regularly for work and always make a point to have a meal and drink here. Staff are really efficient and friendly. Prices are reasonable and they have an excellent drinks menu. The cocktails are worth trying too- generous in size and delicious. Over summer we'd have a cold cocktail but in winter we prefer the mulled ginger beer. Hey have excellent burgers, soups, and sides like onion rings, cauliflower Mac and cheese. They also have tacos too if you feel like something Mexican. Refer to the photos, just love this place.

Read the reviews on Yelp and went for a meal on the reviews recommendation, The service was outstanding, waiter very friendly and attentive I ordered the 200 gram steak special with fries and a cheese sauce to be cooked medium rare . It took the normal time to bring the meal. A quarter of the steak consisted of fat and grizzle and the steak was well done . The steak and sauce were bland and tasteless . I won't be returning

We were visiting Launceston and trying to find some good food on a Sunday night, which actually seemed quite difficult unless we spent a lot of money. Luckily, Bakers Lane provided the goods. We got 3 share plates and 2 sides between the 2 of us, and every bite was amazing. The ceviche, calamari and beef were delicious and it was a good amount of food for just under $60. The service was pretty bad though. Started off fine, it was a quiet Sunday and I think we were the only people in there actually eating, so the food was quick, but the 2 staff members just ignored us once the food was out and chatted at the bar. After we had finished the plates sat there for about half an hour without them being cleared, and our table was right in front of the bar. I even stacked up the empty plates to try and make it obvious we had finished, but nothing. I was waiting for them to be cleared so I could order desert, but when it was clear no one was coming, we went up to the bar. We were told the kitchen closed early half an hour ago as it was quiet. So while I was waiting for service, then. It would have been nice to go around and see if we wanted anything else first, seeing as we were the only table the needed to ask, but we left disappointed. Mostly because the food was so good we knew we were probably missing out on some amazing dessert. Stop talking to each other and keep at least an eye on your customers. The kitchen did a great job but it needs to be backed up by the front.
