"Corina Nurimba and Catherine Chow, the two Cornell grads behind Azalea, are big believers that shopping should be an experience, and a pleasant one at that. This means that customer service is priority number one at both the original Hayes Valley outpost and the newer one in the Mission. The stores are split into men's and women's sections and do a really great job of staying current and affordable with the brand offering but not super trend-driven in the assortment (Topman and Nudie jeans for guys; OAK, T by Alexander Wang, and the house line for gals). "

Hi, Like the other folks writing reviews, I wish I had read the reviews before ordering online. The customer service has been horrible - unresponsive and vague. I placed an order over 2 months ago. I got an email saying they were out of my size on one of the items and they emailed asking if I would like a refund for the item. I said yes please refund me for this item and send out the rest of the shipment. I never heard back on the refund and my order was finally received weeks after placing it. I have yet to see the refund for this item and have been sending them numerous emails asking for an update. Unfortunately, there is no number to call and no way to get in contact with anyone.

Horrible experience with buying items online. They charged me for an item that I found out later during another return inquiry that it was sold out. I’ve been trying to get my money back and a return slip for my other item and it has taken over a week and still no help! They got back to me via email after a day or two but they’re not at all helpful, they haven’t answered any of my questions with regards to the sold out item, and they still haven’t emailed me my return slip. I’m on my way now into the store just to get my money back. What a pain. By the way, both phone numbers listed have been disconnected. Updated review: went to the store At 11 and the hours were actually 1-6 daily. So big fail again. Elizabeth (who I think handles online purchases) was able to process my return of the rings that were sold out. She also let me know that they were able to fulfill my order if I was still interested, but I really didn’t want to risk having another item to return. She processed my refund and it was completed a few days after. I never received my return slip for my necklace, but after Elizabeth told me it was a $10 delivery slip, I went back to the store to return in person. Because of Covid times, they were not able to process the return on the spot, so I had to trust them with the item and wait for someone to get back to me. After two days of not hearing anything from them I followed up with Elizabeth and she processed my return. This was a lot of trouble for a return, I’m sure they’re doing the best they can but I don’t recommend online purchases for anyone who needs clear and constant communication because it’s definitely a challenge for them at the moment. As for shopping in store, they have closed off their beauty section and have sand sanitizers available. I would shop in person again but not online at this time.

I WISH I HAD READ THESE REVIEWS BEFORE ORDERING ONLINE! The WORST customer service experience EVER!!!! You would think this boutique would be better at running their business since their customers are spending lot of money. I am very disappointed as a first time buyer. I will NEVER be purchasing from here again. I ordered three things from this boutique, and only two of the three products I ordered came in. I assumed that the last product would come in, since I received no word from these earrings actually being OUT OF STOCK, and the status of the shipment was still pending. Almost a month had passed when I decided to email them regarding this situation. They apologized for the inconvenience offering me a 20% discount code (which I never received). I looked back through my debit card transactions to see if they refunded me the money for the earrings and noticed that they actually CHARGED ME TWICE for this purchase!! The lady told me that she refunded the money ASAP! It has now been 7 business days since she supposedly refunded me the money, and nothing has changed in my bank account. I sent out another email two days ago.. no response.. I sent out another email this morning.. still waiting for the response. If I receive no response I might have to go through Wells Fargo and file a claim. With that being said, again, I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Azalea's website says returns take 5 business days to process - however, it has been 9 business days since I received an email confirmation from them of having received my return, and no refund has been processed on my account. I attempted to contact their customer service line within their advertised their business hours (12 pm on a Monday), but no one picked up ---seems like the desk is unmanned. I've contacted customer services by email now hoping for a response, but regardless, it's incredibly dishonest to advertise a return policy they do not adhere to. I would suggest all online shoppers to steer clear of this retailer

Purchased item and it was out of stock. Company emailed me about how I wanted to handle order I placed and I asked for a refund. The remaining part of my order has not shipped and company will not respond to email, texts, IG messages about when my refund will be processed. I’ve attempted multiple times to contact company have been ghosted completely. **finally heard back from company via IG. Order shipped and refund processed.

I have been trying to initiate a return for over a month now for two items. I had one response asking for order details (which I included in my first email) and have not been responded to since. On top of this they have a return fee?? I have been trying to follow up every few days and I have heard nothing except that they are working on it from the social media team. There is no number to call and no way to get in contact with anyone.

This experience was the worst online shopping experience I've ever had. I was "sold" an item that wasn't in stock, and a hold was placed on my bank account. The email claimed that the item would ship the next day, and it didn't. I wasn't even told that the item wasn't in stock until 4 days later, when I emailed them and asked why I hadn't received a shipping confirmation email. Not only was I finally told the item wasn't in stock, but the hold was still on my account, days after they had to have realized that they didn't have the item. I'm led to believe that this site is a scam; if I didn't realize that there was no shipping email, I may have never contacted them. Furthermore, as an "apology for the inconvenience", I was given a 20% discount code that doesn't even apply to the brand of items I wanted (Comme des Garcons). In conclusion, I wouldn't recommend this site. I wouldn't wish this terrible shopping experience upon anybody.

They got me. The ladies who work here know how to convince you to buy something; be warned. I ended up spending $200 on a coat that I wasn't even looking for because they told me it was the last one in stock, period. I love my coat, but man this place has pricey women's clothing. My friend told me the guys' stuff is cheaper but I'm doubtful of that. Everything here has great style though, and I love to stop in here to browse regularly.
