I had heard of a salt cave a while back and wanted to check it out for a while now. My family and I decided to check our Austin Salt Cave because it was fairly close to us, we'll priced and the staff was really friendly and helpful on the phone while I asked questions. They took my reservation for three so my family would have the room to ourselves, which I really appreciated during this pandemic! The staff was really knowledgeable about the Halotherapy, accomidating, informative and a pleasure to do business with. I suffer from allergies that get worse during the Mountain Cedar season and I felt that I could breath much better after the first session. I felt the pressure in my ears clear up and the drainage from my sinuses allowed me to smell and taste better also. I recommend this place for the treatment and the quality customer service. *Update* I had to update my rating from 4-5 stars because of their customer service and integrity. I "misplaced" my wedding band after our appointment and didn't even realize that it was missing until later that evening when we got home. After looking around for it at home I called Austin Salt Cave (ASC) and inquired about my ring, Kyle took time to check the salt in the cave and didn't find it, but he took down my info and said that they do a deep clean every Sunday. I called back on Monday and Kyle said "I was just about to call you, we found a ring that matches your description in our locker!" (I was so GRATEFUL) "We're holding it here at the office, come by when you can." It's great to know that there are honest people still and that even in these hard times Kyle and the rest of ASC staff, have integrity!

We heard about this place & wanted to see what the hype was about...so happy we did! The entire family benefited from it. All of our kids 11, 9, & 5 were able to come with us. Definitely will be back, just wish it wasn't far. But worth the visit for sure. Hoping our allergy 🤧 congestion goes away completely, but we are already feeling better after our 1st time visiting.

I purchased a 45 minute session for 2 on Groupon & added the foot salt detox upon arrival. My appointment was the last one of the day & we had the salt room to ourselves. Mallory was EXTREMELY helpful, kind & sweet. She went above & beyond to serve us. She let us pick out what tea we wanted, gave us a sample of lotion & an eye mask. The room itself is beautiful & so relaxing. I highly recommend the added on foot detox. Money well spent! I also purchased the peppermint essential oil spray, Himalayan salt bar & a couple of flavored cooking salts. Mallory was patient & informative. I live in Houston but if I did live in Austin, I would be visiting weekly! I highly recommend Austin Salt Cave!

This was our second visit to Austin Salt Cave. I was in town visiting my son for his birthday and we enjoyed it both times. From the yummy tea to the super cozy warm massage mats to the soft music, the salt cave has the perfect ambiance to deeply relax and enjoy the full experience. Your staff is friendly and knowledgeable and we always feel welcome. I can’t wait to return next time I’m visiting.

Salllllllllt.... This is incredible!!! The team there is soooo accommodating! We had a private party with custom cups and everything. This Salt Cave is located at the bottom of an amazing hill. I wish I lived here, I would be walking/ jogging this steep heel all the time. It is located in a shopping center, so there is plenty of parking. There is one salt room to the right when you walk in. There are also tons of crystals and Himalayan Salt that you can also purchase. This is a large business park/building, so there are shared n restrooms you can access once you exit the back of the business. There are lockers and cubbies to store your stuff. It is advised that you don't take electronics in the Salt Room. It will get corroded. The session was very relaxing. The chairs reclined, the salt felt good on your toes, and they customized the music for you. A little Lavender & Eucalyptus towel and nice NeoSoul = Much needed rest and relaxation!!! I will definitely be back!!! Thanks for a wonderful time.

I purchased a groupon session for 2. We randomly stopped by a late afternoon but ASC was closed so I HIGHLY suggest booking an appointment online as ASC maintains a party for each hour session. We arrived for our session and was given a brief summary on the salt cave, benefits, etc. We were each provided a blanket with a small basket that included a hand towel and scented sprays. The room was chill, dim and super relaxing. I did not feel a noticeable difference in my nasal/body but the experience was something I would definitely do again. Great local spot to purchase crystals (double point, tower, hearts, druzy, moon, star...) as well!

Love this place. After a few weeks of regular sessions, i am confident this place has aided in my skin healing enough after having a large open wound on my arm. I was able to get stitches instead of a skin graft. It also has improved my breathing and allergies. Love this place like my own personal salt sanctuary

Nice and relaxing. The hubby and I tried it out. Not knowing what to expect or if this was a gimmick. Surprisingly we both fell asleep from being so relaxed. Try it out if you need a body and mental recharge. I wish I lived closer to one of these locations. I would come out more often.

I'm so glad that my daughter and I visited Austin Salt Cave, she has been suffering with allergies for years now which finally improved after visiting here. The space is so serene and comfortable. The "cave" is dimly lit and plays peaceful spa music so you feel like you're enjoying a spa day while reclining in the lounge chairs. Just 2 45 minute sessions for my daughter helped improve her allergy symptoms. She is sneezing much less and feels better. Although I don't have allergies, I was happy to get some quiet relaxation time to just disconnect. The owner is extremely knowledgable and a pleasure to chat with. He has a very calming energy about him which is a perfect fit for this place. I hope we can come and visit again soon. I highly recommend checking this place out.

Went here for the first time a couple of weeks ago, was a bit skeptical at first, but by the end of the session was a believer. I could BREATH, my nose hasn't felt that clear in forever. The results lasted a good 5 days. I can only imagine the long term results once I start going regularly.

I went in with an open mind on a Saturday early afternoon and I must admit I was a bit tense from the traffic. The staff was extremely friendly and the ambiance felt like an ocean sea-side shop. The room is relaxing and the tiles of salt combined with the large salt lamps add to the mood. I reclined back for the 45 minute ride. The machine used to disperse the salt into the air is a bit noisy and detracts but as soon as you settle into a comfy spot, you start to feel your body relaxing and drifting away. I was fully expecting my hair to get crazy frizzy and for my body to feel sticky but there was none of that. There was a slight sediment on my clothes and body but nothing a little shake wouldn't release. Day 1 I felt a little calmer, and I could feel my nasal passages starting to adjust. Day 2 I could breath through both nostrils. I've lived most of my life chronically with one nostril 'out of order' so it was a treat to have them both fully functioning. A few days later my passages were fighting the good fight and I'm still for the most part enjoying the benefits of two working nostrils. I am considering going back once a month, because it not only feels like you get the benefit of relaxing but also improved breathing. I would recommend drinking plenty of water after the session.

I can breathe!!!! I suffer from asthma and allergies, and within 20 minutes, my airway's were clear. Not only is the salt cave a relaxing experience, there are so many health benefits too! The owner, Jack, knows so much about how salt helps the body. I'd highly recommend checking this out if you are looking for an alternative to modern medicine.

Salt Cave was really cool, amazing how you can taste the salt in the air. Relaxing atmosphere, salt in the air, dim lights, the glow of the salt lamps. My husband and I went for our anniversary and had our two girls with us (10 and 5 years old) the kids had a blast playing in the salt and surprisingly were entertained during the whole session. Yay! Would definitely go again and enjoy the relaxing season along with the obvious health benefits.

I am one of those ppl who have to take Flonase & Zyrtec EVERY DAY. I decided to try out Halotherapy while visiting in Sefona and I noticed a difference immediately. I try to come into the Austin Salt Cave at least 1x a week - I live in Seguin so it's a drive - 1 hr+ - but it's worth it. I notice a big difference in my allergies & sinus stuff. During the 50 min sessions you sit back in comfy reclining lawn chairs and drift off to never land- at least that's my experience. As a plus my skin always feels great afterwards. It's a relaxing environment and I've even brought my grandkids in and they enjoyed it too. Jack, the owner, is very knowledgeable and helpful. Can't say enough great things about this place, the service & the owner. Thanks Jack!!

This place is seriously one of the coolest places in Austin! I stumbled upon this place a week ago and was so happy just being there and learning how it can help us! I have been so excited about the one in New York and had no idea we (Austinites) even had a salt room to relax in!! If you haven't yet experience such a thing then I recommend it!! You won't want to miss out!!

I enjoyed my experience. It is set up a little different from the one I went to in Atlanta but it was still nice. I just wish there was a smaller room where you could be by yourself if you wanted too but it was a nice experience.

This is a GREAT experience. Very relaxing. I took a group of 15 family and friends the day prior to my wedding. I wanted something that we could all do at the same time and this was perfect. We ranged in age from 8-86 years old. Everyone had an amazing experience. Some talked and visited while others slept and recharged. Jack and the staff are great. I'd highly recommend giving this a go.

Brought my husband by the Salt Cave last week. He had been suffering from some cough and chest congestion for a few weeks. He was very skeptical about the Salt Cave, but enjoyed the experience and relaxation after arriving. He noticed a difference in the congestion within 24hours. The Salt really helped dry him up and helped clear the infection without medication. Highly recommend! They also have a great gift shop with all kinds of unique items. Love the salted caramels.

Great experience! I went in today and did a session. I truly feel I can breathe better. I recommend this to anyone who has allergies, asthma, skin conditions or smokes. Great environment, clean and organized. Be ready to relax! Jack, the owner is knowledgeable! Love it!

I came suffering from a cold and bronchitis. I had never tried a salt cave but had heard good things so I gave it a shot. I came in completely stuffed up and came out less congested. As the day went on, I was able to really able to clear my nose and chest. I felt like it helped to loosen things up and I was feeling much better following the session! I'm a believer and plan to go back again this week. I'm going to take advantage of a weekly rate package they have to help me while I'm sick (1 session per day for 7 days = $60).

I had a wonderful experience at the salt cave. I recently had sinus surgery and I am still suffering from allergies. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and helped explain about the historical significance and scientific process I've had all the salt affects the human body. The room was incredibly clean and I was very comfortable there. I felt a lot better after leaving, and I am going to be back a couple times a week.

Once again the Austin Salt Cave has saved the day! I developed a cold over the weekend and with a vacation planned for next week, I knew I had to get this handled. I have been twice so far this week and as expected the results have been amazing. Symptoms are nearly gone! There is nothing better than relaxing in a quiet, dim room with salt lamps glowing and breathing in this natural treatment for better health and mindset! Great results without medications and side-effects. :)

I felt fabulous after my visit to the salt cave. I have suffered from allergies for the last 35 years (20 in mountain cedar territory) and always have problems this time of the year. I went in for a 45 minute session and for the next 2 days had no allergy problems. I didn't have to do my nasal flush or use my Flonase. I will definitely go again.

My first time. I have bronchitis and a sinus infection. This place is amazing. I wove in Wimberley but will be going there for a week. After my 45 minutes in the salt cave my sinus and lungs drained/cleared or whatever the word is. Bought a old lady week membership and will be going as much as possible.

Owner went above and beyond to help me and saved me another round of antibiotics. I'm so grateful.

This experience was unlike anything I've had before. The Salt Cave is like a cozy, soothing hug that relaxes your whole being. I bought a week of sessions and throughout my sessions, I slept, pondered, journaled and just relaxed. Jack Cramer has created something special and healing -- and everyone deserves to try it for themselves.

This place is incredible!!! I first went here on recommendation from someone who saw improvement in their allergies and last April during a bad bout of allergies that lingered longer than I would have liked I finally tried them out! I can not say enough good things about them! They have great hours, super knowledgeable staff, a wonderful ambiance, and an incredible facility! I always leave feeling like a whole new person! If you or anyone you know is having allergy issues or just needing a something different for your wellness I can not recommend The Salt Cave enough!

I love coming to the Austin Salt Cave! I sleep amazingly well after my visits and breathe more clearly. I enjoy my time in the room isolated from any electronic interruption and surrounded by the peaceful, dimly lit ambience.

Don't waste your time. I bought a Groupon and still not worth the money spent. I bought two sessions and went to use my last session and drove almost AN HOUR to get out there and the business was closed during normal business hours. I called the business and tried to work out a refund and the owner seemed to be unconcerned and told me I needed to contact Groupon and 'good luck' trying to get a refund. (It is a 'family friendly' place, which I don't know what is relaxing about kids playing in the salt room.) Too costly. I'm spending my money on a massage next time or the float pool option at another place.

Incredible environment and very friendly and knowledgable staff. Jack, the owner, and Colt do a great job explaining the benefits of salt therapy. They were both very friendly and helpful the entire time. I got some shot glasses made entirely of salt and I absolutely love drinking tequila out of them. I highly recommend this place!

The session was relaxing and I felt refreshed after the 45 min was done. More importantly my allergies subsided after the session. Jack was very friendly and educated my friend and I on the benefits of the therapy. I tried some of their salts as well. The venom has some kick to it. I highly recommend trying it out.

Best money spent!!! Amazing staff!! Clean and magical space! My kids and I loved it big time we go about 3x a week and it's a 45 min drive for us but so worth it!!! So relaxing and super healing on us all. The kids sleep better and breath better after the caves

What a great experience! Very relaxing to recline and breathe in the salty air. You may fall asleep like I did! I felt I could breathe better even after one visit. A really nice young man (Jack?) was helpful both on the phone and in person. They offered first timer specials and sessions began at the top of the hour at the time of this review.

I've had such enormous help with my allergies and asthma from coming here. I felt better and breathed more easily after the very first time. Jack is very knowledgeable, patiently answers questions and has a variety of products if you're interested. I'd come even more often if only it was closer! I hadn't been in a few weeks, and was having a dreadful time with my allergies. Instant improvement!!! I won't be so lazy next time..... I'll drive right on out there!!

Went for the first time on Saturday. Colt was great and very welcoming. He thoroughly explained the different salts after the session and we even bought some to cook with. Sooo good! Going into the room, I did feel my throat clearing up. Overall, great experience!

Really impressed! I'll admit, I was skeptical at first, but I'm convinced this really helped with a rash-like-irritation on my neck from taking too much Iodine. The Dr. gave me a cream to put on the irritated skin and it didn't do anything for 2 days. I went to the Salt Cave on day 3 (yesterday) of using the cream - skin still hadn't changed - and the rash was 75% gone that evening! No joke! Today it was less than 25% irritated and no redness... looks almost healed.

I went to a salt spa years ago in Atlanta. This one is bigger and even more welcoming of a space. It's a bit of a drive outside the city center and doesn't seem to have caught on yet. It's as relaxing as being in supercharged ocean air, without the wetness. I just lay in a lawn chair and meditated into a deep bliss. Highly recommended.
