"Still sporting its original décor from 1903, the horseshoe-shaped bar beckons for a coffee, a kir (white wine and crème de cassis), or a quick meal. While there's a full restaurant in the back, it lacks the prime people-watching you'll get up front."

This classic French bistro is an absolute delight! The owner welcomed us like old friends and with open arms; he ensured we got a good table outside - even on a warm Friday evening we didn’t reserve and we didn’t wait. Both service and food were amazing. Classic French bistro food and a great wine selection. This place has history from the late 19th century, and a nice mix of locals and tourists enjoy it: can’t recommend it highly enough.

One of my “every time I’m in Paris” places. A small and charming bistro in Le Marais, full of Parisian character. Each month they feature a wine of the month — always worth trying for a pleasant surprise. Perfect for a quick bite of French classics or some frites with a glass of wine at the counter.

The little horseshoe served food prepared with great care. We ate here twice and everything was very tasty. It's a cafe, so some of the steaks aren't the best cut. But everything is marinaded or seasoned to taste great. Don't miss the watercress soup. I had it twice... it's great. The service is first rate.

Veery cute location and restaurant! Food was decent (however I think the lunch prices are more worth the food quality than dinner). Unfortunately service was lacking significantly. The waiter didn't take orders for 2/4 people at our table (and only realized after he had served the others) and gave an alcoholic drink to my friend who doesn't drink alcohol (this is just a major oversight, my friend speaks french fluently in order in french).

Extremely traditional atmosphere, delicious food, kind service. This was our first dinner in Paris and we picked a great place to start.

After hiking Eifel Tower, had this lunch spot bookmarked. No reservations but hostess said we can have a table but to eat within one hour which we graciously accepted. They were out of frog legs but had the cheese soufflé & grand marnier soufflé. Both were just ok.. It was almost $20 Eu each was pricey but the service was nice & ambience was cozy. I would skip and go to the other many great pre fix lunch spots in Montmarte or Le Marais.

I can confidently say that this restaurant is by far the best dining experience I've had in Paris. From the moment we stepped in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. He was not only friendly but also fun, kind, and extremely polite. Now, onto the food. The tartare steak was simply outstanding - fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Every bite was a delight. The dessert was a sweet conclusion to the meal, and the wine selection complemented our dishes perfectly. Overall, I loved everything about this restaurant, from the food to the service to the atmosphere. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Paris.

Had a lovely dinner here on our first night in Paris. The duck confit was delicious, and I loved the side salad with it. Great service, great first meal to kick off the trip.
