"Still sporting its original décor from 1903, the horseshoe-shaped bar beckons for a coffee, a kir (white wine and crème de cassis), or a quick meal. While there's a full restaurant in the back, it lacks the prime people-watching you'll get up front."

This classic French bistro is an absolute delight! The owner welcomed us like old friends and with open arms; he ensured we got a good table outside - even on a warm Friday evening we didn’t reserve and we didn’t wait. Both service and food were amazing. Classic French bistro food and a great wine selection. This place has history from the late 19th century, and a nice mix of locals and tourists enjoy it: can’t recommend it highly enough.

The little horseshoe served food prepared with great care. We ate here twice and everything was very tasty. It's a cafe, so some of the steaks aren't the best cut. But everything is marinaded or seasoned to taste great. Don't miss the watercress soup. I had it twice... it's great. The service is first rate.

Veery cute location and restaurant! Food was decent (however I think the lunch prices are more worth the food quality than dinner). Unfortunately service was lacking significantly. The waiter didn't take orders for 2/4 people at our table (and only realized after he had served the others) and gave an alcoholic drink to my friend who doesn't drink alcohol (this is just a major oversight, my friend speaks french fluently in order in french).

Service was welcoming and casual in the best way! Our waiter was accommodating of allergies in our party and made sure to check with the kitchen and communicate with us about what to avoid. The Tarte Tatin was beautiful and delicious and the atmosphere was lively and fun.

Extremely traditional atmosphere, delicious food, kind service. This was our first dinner in Paris and we picked a great place to start.

I can confidently say that this restaurant is by far the best dining experience I've had in Paris. From the moment we stepped in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. He was not only friendly but also fun, kind, and extremely polite. Now, onto the food. The tartare steak was simply outstanding - fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Every bite was a delight. The dessert was a sweet conclusion to the meal, and the wine selection complemented our dishes perfectly. Overall, I loved everything about this restaurant, from the food to the service to the atmosphere. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Paris.

We ate dinner here on our final night in Paris. A friend recommended it and I'm so glad we went there! The waiter was very friendly and welcoming and the back seating area was cozy and fun. Delicious food (I started with butternut squash soup, fish dish for main, and shared tarte tatin for dessert) and great wine selection. I will definitely return on my next trip and will try their other restaurants, too.
