I am so happy this place exists. Finally a proper market that it looks and feels modern (Bonus the name of my Home town 😉). The way it should be in 2024. Stuff is amazing, clean, helpful and they know how to make you feel welcome. I drove all the way down from CT because I was hoping to find some new Greek items and especially Greek pita made in Greece (not the fake Kontos etc made in the USA that they call pita). I found real Greek pita and that would be enough for me to be happy but in my surprise this place is full of great products from small family producers from all over Greece. The selection is amazing even for a market of this type that you will find anywhere if you travel to Greece. I am a Chef and I was tired packing my luggage’s every time I go to Greece with stuff I can’t find here. 80% of the stuff I was buying from Greece I can buy them in this Market now. The nice lady on the counter packed all my stuff for 3 separate families properly and she was so kind to offer me also a bag of chips and a nice Greek lemonade for my trip back to CT. Greek hospitality & proper service at its best.

Enjoy Greek moussaka and other Greek cuisine dishes, prepared with love and exactly as a Greek mother would had cooked. Making you feel that you are at homeland. Greek traditional food in the heart of Astoria. You can enjoy your order in Greek language and this makes the place more special. Always returning customer when I am in NY.

This bag of kavroumadaki w/ graviera cheese is the best set of cheese crisps I've ever had thus far. If I lived closer, I'd shop relatively frequently for some prepared Greek dishes as well as frozen goods. The semi-public restroom is very nice & convenient as well.

I was not impressed with the desserts I purchased the galatoboureko and trigona panoramatos used way too much syrup paid 38 dollars for 4 pieces of dessert.

My first time in this place… I found lots of Greek goodies and pastries!!! Prices were reasonable and the staff was very friendly!

What an inviting place! A modern market with cafe that features an eclectic assortment of Greek products. I was especially pleased to find a number of gluten-free Greek pasta selections and sugar-free cookies. Their prices are reasonable too. I had to exercise great restraint (!) to walk past the beautiful display of artisanal pastries. I sat at the cafe for a coffee and vegan spanakopita, and this might have been the flakiest I've had -- no need to blot any excess oil with a napkin! Scrumptious! Highly recommend.

I confess there is a significant part of me that wants to keep this gem of a market a secret, but my respect and affection for the entire staff exceeds my desire to be reserved. I can't seem to remember the last time a new business made such an incredible first impression upon me. The prices are extremely reasonable and they do not take advantage of the fact that most items are imported and of the highest quality. Further, they were very warm with me and welcoming. It would be an injustice for me not to leave this review that was not requested of me. I look forward to being a loyal customer for years to come.
