Astir Beach

I recently visited a beautiful, clean, and private beach in Greece in and it was an incredible experience. The water was crystal clear, and the surroundings were pristine, making it a perfect spot for relaxing and tanning. We went in August, and while it was still hot, the serene atmosphere and the beach's uncrowded nature made it a wonderful escape. However, one downside was that we couldn’t order fries on the beach as they didn’t have them available, which was a bit disappointing. Still, it didn’t take away from the overall charm of the place. If you’re looking for a peaceful and picturesque spot to unwind, this beach is definitely worth the visit.

So gorgeous! We decided to come here as a break from our days of walking during one of our days in Athens, and it was well worth it! The price for chair rentals was pretty reasonable, and the service was good. Having the beach chairs/sunbeds be rentals definitely keeps it from getting super crowded; it was busy enough when we were there and would be overrun if they didn’t charge to be there. The water is so clean and the beach is just gorgeous. My kids rented paddle boards--it was a perfectly calm area for that activity. Wonderful to have clean bathrooms and showers right there to use as needed, as well as shops in case you forgot any beach necessities. You can rent towels if you didn’t bring your own. If you’re used to beaches in the states, you’re in for a treat! Worth it.

Beautiful. Great service. No judgment and stunning views. The reserved seating is intentional. It may seem expensive but it is a small price to pay for a day of relaxation at a rock free beach. Water sports are readily available, hookahs can be served at the click of a QR code, people are friendly and the staff is ready to help. Use this for family, friends or for some alone time with your significant other. As an American, please respect the customs of Greek society. No need to be rowdy… just enjoy the sun, beach and weather. You will not be disappointed. As for my Canadian friends… enjoy! You are loved and always welcomed.

Location is great. Services is OK. The sea was the best part of the experience. Clean and clear and just perfect. Decent crowd. Bit more of a relaxing atmosphere. If you’re looking for a party, this is not the place for you. Drinks were OK for her. Food was OK.

Beautiful beach and area to relax and enjoy the beautiful views. The food was good but the service was very slow. We had to continuously chase down employees to make orders or pay for our food/drinks. I would go back, but for the price per chair I expected much better service over all.

The beachfront is the most beautiful in Athens. We paid 100 euros for an umbrella and 2 chairs for the day. Going into an exclusive beach you would think it would be clean and the service would be great, and it was horrible. The chairs were stained with dirt and there was garbage around all the chairs around us. We could not find a waiter to take our order for 39 minutes. We ordered water and 2 coffees and did not receive it until 45 minutes later. We were there with a child and it was very hot, I was begging the staff to tell me where I could go get the water myself. It was a horrible day. It continued on and we had conversations with the staff, and they were all disgruntled. So it made sense that the service was very bad. The only great thing was the beachfront and the water, everything else was terrible here.

Very nice riviera beach setup. Exclusive but large. Snack bar menu. Service not up to the standard while you are on your chairs by the beach. Hard to get waiters attention. Restaurant was great. Amazing food. Service was better. Right next to the Four seasons hotel. Lots of luxury yachts in front you. Clear waters. Very little waves on the day we went. Large facilities for showers and toilets. Clean. Overall great place to go to escape the heat in Athens.

An absolutely stunning location. Beautiful beach with water which was the perfect temperature. Loved our experience here. The only drawbacks were that we felt the food, while good, could have had more extensive options. And the place was quite understaffed, we would repeatedly have to ask for service. Overall definitely recommend as a place to visit it looks like paradise.
