We did the tasting menu and loved every dish except one, which was cod in a pea puree. We both thought it was rather bland. However, the rest more than made to for it. The beef cheeks were tender and delicious. The dessert was one of the most delicious I've had.

Simple ingredients and creative food. The ingredients shine in this delicious basque and french fusion. Service is impeccable. Happy that it's just shy of a 1 star Michelin experience as it keeps an exceptional value for what you're getting. I had the degustation menu. Well worth it.

Went with high expectations due to all the raving reviews but left confused as our experience was nothing alike. As a whole I think the restaurant wants to place itself in a high segment, but then does not live up to it. Which is a shame because the potential is definitely there. It just feels unpolished for what it makes you think it is. We got the tasting menu, the food was good but nothing special. The risotto and the beef cheeks courses were both overly salty. In my opinion you can get much better food for the same price in this area (and beyond). The service was alright, friendly/polite staff but also left wanting more. No recommendations, no explanations, and not showing much interest in general. Would not recommend this place as the price to quality ratio is not good compared to other restaurants.

Finally a high end restaurant that serves normal portions! I found everything of this restaurant fantastic! The cuisine was mainly local with both fish and meat options available. The service was great, the waiters explain the plates and introduce you to your meal perfectly. The female manager that takes your order is very professional and always with a smile. Although the table are quite close to each other it is structured in a way that still allows you to have your privacy without any problem. Great for a date night! See you soon!

We were pleasantly surprised to be seated in the private wine area. The staff were extremely attentive and the duck I was served was one of the best I have ever had. Would love to come back to San Sebastián just for this restaurant.

Good place to have a break from pintxos. The txakoli is very sweet and good and at a decent price. We had the rice with squid (arroz de begihundi) which was good but tasted a bit too similar from a lot of risotto. We were expecting something more, a taste or something out of the ordinary. I'd rate it 3/5. The mains were beautifully presented, delicates and excellent. 5/5 for the scallops (corazones de viera) as well as the hake with clams in a parsley sauce (merluza salsa verde). For dessert, the French toast (torrija y au helado) was great. Veeeery buttery and moreish 4/5. So overall, rating the restaurant 4/5. Food is great, but need that extra touch to get those 5 stars.
