Asiatique The Riverfront

The Asiatique River front is great night time venue for family entertainment, with amusement park rides, restaurants, bars, market stalls. It's all very clean and safe. There is a fun atmosphere. It's nice to just walk around by the river front and discover the history behind this site. Some of the dinner cruises leave from this pier. The markets and shops trade until about 12.00 pm.

It has an interesting night life, quite romantic rather than hectic, unlike other night markets. There are many activities and restaurants to explore and try out. Although, almost everything you see there is overpriced so you need to consider carefully before buying anything. The ferris wheel ride is popular and the views are mesmerizing up there; just one issue, the price for a 15-minute ride is 500 baht so it isn't very affordable. Overall, it's a nice place to hang out with your lover or family if you're a tourist willing to spend a handsome amount of money and get a once in a lifetime experience.

I love taking a quiet walk alone in this peaceful riverside park, it is actually one of my best places in Bangkok. It’s usually calm during the day. Nearby, there are plenty of shops - usually with great discounts, beautiful items, and also delicious restaurants.

Overall a worthwhile few hours, albeit a bit touristy as you would expect. Great location by the river, lots of shops and food/drink options at somewhat reasonable prices. Outside street food court area had great selections and better pricing. A few entertainment options (haunted house, ferris wheel), some great dessert places.

A very nice place to come with family a romantic place for a couple. You can take the iconic sailboats on the river of Bangkok from there. The prices of food and drinks are quite high as compared to other places in Bangkok.

Great tourist spot and very scenic. The ferris wheel is huge, and there’s a horror ride if that’s your thing. Also a bunch of little cafes and vendors around the place. Restaurants are located near the pier. Recommend to go during evening/sunset to catch the sun going down.

Just be aware you’re going to get ripped off. Any place that marks up a small Singer 500% ( to 180 B) deserves Tourists. This place is pure Disneyland rubbish. I mean if your idea of fun is being in the middle of lots of milling bored tourists you’ve found it. You drink the above beer at riverside bars where the view of the river is obstructed by tourists waiting in line to board boats or the boats themselves. BIG TIP. There is a big C supermarket in the complex. Go there buy your beers. They will even cook decent food. Large prawns etc at an indoor cafe. Then take the your beers to an area behind the Ferris wheel and there is link an outdoor picnic area. Relax away from the mess.
