Thieves. You buy a shisha but they don't tell you that pipe is chargeable (5 riyals extra). They put a menu that has kofta for 5riyals but when you order, they say you have to buy two (yet they don't mention it in their menu). Menu says their hummus is 5 but they charge you 7 riyals. I might as well go to turkey, where this place seems to have adopted their practices from. I'm surprised they're even allowed to operate by the authorities in Qatar; bad management, rude staff and terrible customer service skills. Even zero stars is too much for these cowboys.

I love this place as it overlooks the “Spiral Mosque” here in Souq Waqif. Food is a lot cheaper compare to any other restaurant, but good menus! Tasty meat and refreshing beverages. Polite and hospitable staff as well.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the treatment and I received during a recent visit to your restaurant, particularly due to the manager’s rude behavior. From the start, the manager informed us of a wait for the food and seated us at an uncomfortable table. When a kind server offered a more suitable option, the manager returned, speaking abruptly and insisting we move back, which left us embarrassed in front of other guests. After waiting another 10 minutes without service, we had to approach staff to place our order, only to be told it would take another 20 minutes. Having already waited 40 minutes, we decided to cancel. We confirmed with a server that our order hadn’t been prepared, but as we left, the manager confronted us, demanding payment and even threatening to call security. After a tense exchange, he finally let us leave. This experience was disappointing and uncomfortable. We expected a pleasant meal but felt unwelcome and mistreated. I hope you address this to prevent similar experiences for future guests. And some serious actions must be taken against manager over there as he started shouting on us in front of all customers and demanded us to pay money for food which we not even ate He was also shouting on the server's in front of everyone

Subject: Complaint Regarding Cashier Rude Behavior and Poor Service Dear Restaurant Management/Customer Service Team, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience at your restaurant, largely due to the unprofessional and rude behaviour of the cashier who also called himself as a “manager”. However, I believe this situation could have been handled more professionally and respectfully, and I would like to bring this to your attention in the hope of improvement. Upon our arrival, the cashier informed us that the food would take some time and directed us to a table. Ten minutes later, he assigned us a table and mentioned that there would only be a two-minute wait which turned out to be 20 minutes. However, instead of a table suitable for our party, he offered us a table for two, which was not very comfortable. One of the servers, who was very courteous and attentive, suggested that we move to a more comfortable seat. When we did, the manager/cashier returned and, in an abrupt manner, told us to go back to our original seat. His tone was unnecessary and made us feel uncomfortable and embarrassed in front of other guests. After being seated, no one attended to our table for over ten minutes, and we had to approach the staff to place our order. When we finally ordered, we were told that it would take another 20 minutes for the food to be ready. By this point, we had already been waiting for nearly 40 minutes, so we decided to cancel the order. We confirmed with the server that our food hadn’t yet been prepared, and he assured us that we could cancel without issue as he didn’t give the order yet to the kitchen. As we left, the manager confronted us in a very disrespectful manner, demanding payment and starting to punch in the order details, insisting we stay and eat. His behavior escalated to the point where he threatened to call security when we questioned his approach. Only after a prolonged, tense exchange did he finally allow us to leave, when I said I would like to talk to the security/ manager or your higher management. Because he didn’t even let me speak and he kept on commenting about my nationality which is unfair and disrespectful and I have been here for past 18 years and never experienced something this way. This experience was highly disappointing and embarrassing. We came to your restaurant expecting a pleasant meal but instead felt mistreated and unwelcome. I believe no customer should be subjected to such treatment, and I hope that you take this complaint seriously to ensure other guests do not encounter similar experiences. Thank you for your time and consideration. I hope to hear back from you regarding any actions taken to address this issue.

While roaming in Souq Waqif, I found this restaurant which had indoor, outdoor and rooftop seating arrangements. Food is not very expensive, but not amazing as well. It’s like average. Service was fine, staffs are polite. Mostly filled with tourists only. The view from the rooftop is really beautiful. They have Shiesha as well which I cannot tell how good or bad is as I did not try.

Good things about this place: location dan atmosphere! Great! The staff is alright. Not so good things: i think they focus only for people having shisha. If you don’t smoke/shisha, this place is not for you as you would smell it everywhere here. The drinks are NOT recommended. We had a sip, paid and left. I am not sure i’m coming back. A few other relaxing places in the vicinity.

Compared to pre-covid times, this restaurant now has plenty of vacant chairs upstairs since Sisha is not allowed as per ministry’s directives. Service now is fast compared before. Staffs now are attentive and responsive to your needs. Tip: bring cash with you. Still until now they don’t accept debit or credit cards.

Place, atmosphere, service is good. Sheesha is allowed only outside, so we could dine inside the restaurant. Liver was good.
