We visited Asanka Local Restaurant as we were looking for some local food to eat, and we were not disappointed. The various dishes were well presented and of good portions. Some of the meals were too spicy for those not used to hot food, but I found it perfect as I love spicy dishes. The service was good, but one of the staff looked like something had upset her, which we mentioned to her colleague that she needs to smile and not look so upset. The total bill was reasonable for the amount of food and drinks we had. I would definitely recommend Asanka Local. Their food is delicious and I was extremely satisfied.

I just ordered akple with groundnut soup.. They have no serious delivery systems in place. I was asked for my location, and although I requested that they dispatch call for detailed directions, it turned out the food was handed to a bolt driver, in polythene that wasn't even secured. The soup bowl was not even sealed. Just horrible! If you care about time and food safety, look elsewhere maybe.

Few waiters. Hence you wait long for them to come take your order. No one might come if you don’t hiss to call them. A bit below professional service. Waiters not too keen hence lose sight of some standard professional practice of treating customers from diverse backgrounds. The usual Ghanaian way oh it’s not a big deal. You go to the drinks counter and they don’t have minerals or Sodas on a Sunday afternoon. You have to follow up your order if you want it back early. The guy at the bar was engaged elsewhere and the waiters try to cover for him while serving customers. Hence my conclusion on staff shortage. This is not the Asanka we knew way back
