I love Arvo. It’s completely worth the hype. The meatball toast and the ricotta toast is so delicious. The secret of this place is their bread, it is so delicious and crunchy. Their matcha latte is always delicious, perfect amount of matcha and milk. The space is really beautiful, it gives European outdoor seating vibes. I really recommend! It’s on the more expensive side for breakfast but it’s worth it.

I heard about your cafe from a local woman who, despite my lack of experience, is obsessed with your charcoal latte. We stopped to enjoy the sight. And the flavor that we got was an enjoyable delight. Given that I purely enjoy strong, black coffee, I felt that the latte was a little too sweet. still pleasant. The cuisine was also rather good. I hope to see better quality products yet.

On a beautiful sunny morning, this place is a vibe. But with a walk-up counter and about 2 seats total in the interior, there's not much to be done if the weather's not favoring you. That being said if the weather is good and you're looking for a charming place for a brunch, or even just a cup of coffee with friends, this is such a charming little place. Recommend the charcoal latte.

While at port, we stopped by this cute little place for our first cup of coffee of the day. We were greeted with a friendly smile! We ordered 2 cold brews and an ube bread. The flavor of the cold brew was fantastic, with a nice smooth flavor. The ube bread was recommended by the staff, so we gave it a try, it was also really good, highly recommend it! The ambiance of the spot was very mellow and laid back. The little birds were a sweet sight to watch while enjoying or coffee and treat. (The Lego Ukulele in the photo is ours)

While galavanting through Honolulu, we stumbled across Arvo Cafe. A cute little cafe located in a busy shopping center. The ambiance was very tranquil with the business offering both an indoor and outdoor experience. The menu was fun with great-looking drinks and food options. They also had a special menu. As one of their specialty drinks was catching my eye, I had to retract and go with their charcoal latte. Can you believe, I have NEVER had a charcoal latte before. Since I was in Hawaii, I figured this would be the best time to try it. I’m glad I did! It was great! The color was fun and it was definitely giving. It was delicious! I'm glad I went for it.

Good coffee in a very trendy setting with outdoor seating only. The sunrise shooter (?, whatever it was called), of orange juice & club soda & simple syrup & 2shots of espresso on ice was surprisingly delicious. Lovely americano ( straight, clean taste& rich aroma). Some pretty open-faced toasts, etc. Major downside is that all cups and serving ware is disposable, creating a huge amount of rubbish. Music can be kind of loud.

Located within the Salt restaurant area in Kakaako, great cafe for breakfast! Upscale seating area and small retail area to purchase logo apparel. Absolutely love this breakfast toast items, especially this smoked salmon toast: thick slices of bread, layered with cream cheese, fresh smoked salmon, covered with capers and red onions! High end La Marzocco espresso machine, which produces wonderful lattes. Love their cafe mocha, beautiful foam drizzle, perfect flavor (for me, not too sweet).

Super cute, pretty tasty, a little pricey but immaculate vibes and beautiful presentation. Seating can get really crowded. Specifically writing this review because of the nuisance of the flies and birds. Overall good. Charcoal oat milk latte was good. Avocado toast was beautiful and huge. Nice to treat yourself sometimes

This cute little coffee shop offers a lovely outdoor setting, though seating is somewhat limited, especially on rainy days when covered spots are in high demand. Despite the weather, the experience was enjoyable. The lavender drink is a highlight--flavorful and customizable for those who prefer less sweetness. The guy working behind the counter was super nice and helpful, adding to the warm and inviting atmosphere. One downside is the parking situation, as it requires payment, which can be inconvenient if staying to eat, chat, and relax. Overall, it's a great spot for unique drinks and friendly service, perfect for a quick coffee break if you're okay with the parking hassle.

I love Arvo ever since the peak tumblr avo toast days. Nowadays I rec ppl must absolutely try the matcha chia seed pudding it's kinda pricey at $12 but it's sooooo good and so filling. Such a slay in presentation. Got the matcha latte and a ombré lemonade for my kids they love mixing it to change the colors haha

Love Arvo and the staff. Iced Chai Tea and Egg Salad was delicious! Food is fresh and drinks are refreshing. Love the outdoor patio and open air lounge area.

Cute spot, food was delicious, but coffee wasn't my favorite! It was my first time trying this spot & my first impression was that it's a nice spot to chill at! They have a small seating area with umbrellas providing some shade. I ordered the loaded avocado toast (added smoked salmon) and the matcha chia pudding. Both dishes were soooo delicious and filling (large portions)!!! It's funny because I'm still learning to love matcha but I surprisingly LOVED the matcha whip on the matcha chia pudding, it was good!! I also tried their iced vanilla latte. It was okay, but I've had better coffee elsewhere. Although the food was good, the coffee wasn't great, it's a small spot, and I probably wouldn't come back again, so I'll rate this place 3 stars. But it's a good place to try at least once or to take cute pictures at!

Food is always delish here! Last time I ate here, they were on the outside of the Kakaako Village but this spot on the inside is much more visible and I love the tables and seating area. Walked right up and ordered my usual and it tastes even better on the toasted bread versus a bagel. Capers galore just like I like it! Counter service was quick and associates were helpful answering our questions.

Loved this cafe! The matcha chia pudding is ELITE!!! The baristas were so nice too. We told them we were visiting from San Diego and they gave us a sticker, and asked about our travel plans. The salmon toast was amazing too and a huge portion

My friend had a meeting nearby so I walked over to SALT to get some coffee. I wasn't going to eat as I was trying to pick up coffee from another place but when I walked by Arvo and saw the amazing toasts they offered, I had to get one too. I ordered a smoked salmon toast and grabbed a table nearby to get some work done. There are quite a bit of tables to eat from and since it was early in the morning, it was relatively quiet with some soft music in the background. The girl at the counter was really nice and quick with my order. The toast is AMAZING. The bread itself was thick and toasty and slathered with a thick layer of cream cheese and then topped with some spinach, smoked salmon, capers, and purple onions. It's a simple meal but every bite was perfect! I was thoroughly happy with my meal. I'm definitely recommending this place to all my friends and i'll definitely be back again if i'm in the area!

The salmon toast. OMG. I had it twice on our trip. And try to go every year. Taste hasn't wavered. I tried a salad this time as well and definitely haven't found anything about the place to complain about yet!

Always consistently good, especially with their presentation of food. They are a little pricey for toast but its always loaded and very aesthetic. There is only outdoor seating, some areas with umbrellas for shade.

Favorite little coffee shop for the best lavender matcha ever. Staff are always really friendly here. One thing I wish was that there is an option to do no ice but top off the drink. When I ask for light ice I always feel like it takes up more than half of the drink. Also wished in the future a loyalty reward program would be created. Add on up charge for nondairy milks and flavorings/syrups. Another suggestion is to create a larger size- I always finish my drink and keep wanting more. Seating is limited because it tends to get very crowded in the AM. This place also closes @ 2 pm! * a second location in Waikiki just opened- they serve all drinks but just no food items*

With slight improvements in wait times, it could easily earn a higher rating.

1000% yes. Avocado toast added salmon and it was massive and SUPER DUPER YUM, but be careful..she can be messy...lol. Dont order that if you cant get down and big back! Matcha Latte with Oatmilk was finesse and really unbeatable. I cant wait to go back, and yes its worth getting up/out of your car and walk in the hot humidity. We need these kinds of places on the Ewa/Kapolei side! Or are there some?

Arvo happened to be near the place we were staying for vacation and i'm so glad it was! We came here for breakfast and got the Meatballs and Toast ($14.50), Egg Salad Toast ($11), Nutella Toast ($11), and Loaded Avocado Toast ($12.50). I was a little skeptical thinking that Arvo is only popular because it's an aesthetic cafe but everything was honestly delicious. The bread is the perfect thickness and the toppings are so fresh. There wasn't anything I didn't enjoy and it felt like the perfect way to start the day. I would definitely come give Arvo a try! I do think it's a little expensive, but the ingredients feel high quality and extremely fresh.

A quaint little take out place with some outdoor seating. It's located in SALT so there's lots of other outdoor seating throughout the complex. The menu is limited so I decided to try their meatless, halloumi burger. It came on a brioche bun with arugula, avocado, tomato and red onion. It was delicious! The homemade aioli and tomato jam was a nice touch to the burger. It tasted like a lighter meat burger with not as much fat. Grilled nicely, tasty and good texture. The burger was served with kettle style green onion potato chips. The two goes well together. And for $14, I'll definitely go back for this burger. The service was accurate and about right,, considering it was lunchtime. I did have an iced tea, which you get fairly quickly, so the wait seemed less. Nice place for a healthy lunch that won't put you to sleep if you have to go back to work.

I went here to meet up with some friends and we all enjoyed the food and drinks Arvo had to offer. I got an avocado toast and chai latte and both were delicious! Service was quick and the exterior of the cafe was beautiful and simple! I also love how easy it was to find the location. There's a parking garage at Salt so there's usually no need to stress when it comes to looking for parking! Highly recommend checking out Arvo Café! The vibes were immaculate!

A little bit of a wait but everything was very decently priced and delicious. One of the better matches I had in Hawaii and great for a quick snack- the place is cute and the service was great.

Went on a Sunday afternoon, surprisingly not too busy at the time. Ordered the Nutella toast and the Smoked Salmon toast with the Matcha Chia Pudding. I was worried the bread was going to be hard, but I could bite into it easily and the flavors blended well. The star of the show was the Matcha Chia Pudding! It didn't feel too "matcha-y", so if you're not a fan of matcha it's worth a try. It comes with fruit. I would just personally prefer less pineapple. Loved the overall vibe with the picnic benches and umbrellas. Totally different set up than the other surrounding restaurants, but it fits the overall consumer population they are going for. I would definitely come back!

I tried Arvo's salmon toast and a latte. The salmon toast was great -- well-portioned and tasty. The latte was okay, but I felt that it tried to be too complicated in terms of flavor -- and ultimately the latte was not that great as a result. All that said, Arvo is worth a stop for coffee and lunch.

Arvo is the definition of good vibes only! This adorable outdoor Aussie inspired cafe lives in the heart of Salt Kakaako serving up incredible coffee and delicious brunch items. Arvo and their team have created such an inspiring and creative community with their cafe culture, and it's truly such a special place to enjoy the sunshine and savor great drinks and food. The service is wonderful and this is a local female owned business that we've loved to support over the years. Our favorite items are the loaded avocado toast, meatballs and toast, matcha chia pudding, cold brew, and lavender latte. Have a good ARVO!

The matcha chia pudding is not as good as I had last time. Fruits don't look too fresh especially the pineapple. Service was okay from male cashier but female barista don't answer you, I wanted to retrieve my chia pudding and try to ask if I can take it, the barista look up and continue to make coffee. Then the barista saw and push the food over and maintain taking order at the same time. I probably won't be bad after today's visit.

Arvo located in the center of SALT at Kaka'ako has a beautiful scenery that attract a lot of tourists from around the world. When I come to ARVO, I typically get their nutella toast, smoked salmon toast, and an iced mocha or iced chocoal latte. Service is typically quick with drinks coming out first and food following. There is free water found in the inside of the shop, and there is easy breezy parking. My only complaint is their coffee. It isnt very strong, and majority of the taste comes from just the milk. I typically skip out on the drinks unless I need some caffeine in me. Personally, I enjoy their smoked salmon toast the best.

Whenever I'm in Honolulu i always make sure to come eat at arvo. Their smoked salmon and Nutella toast are so tasty. I in the past have added a poached egg on the smoked salmon and it was so delicious

While the food is aesthetically pleasing, I'm not sure it's entirely worth the price. However, the customer service is excellent (shoutout to Hayden, who is super sweet, funny, and friendly!). The outdoor ambiance is also wonderful, especially on a sunny day in Hawaii nei!

The food was top tier, the service was iconic. Im a huge fav of avo toast and lox bagel and they do both well. If you love a small menu arvo is for u.

First off Jay and gabby were an absolute pleasure. Jay was so personable and very helpful!!! I ended up getting the egg salad toast, the ricotta berry toast and two coffees. So the toasts are 5 stars all the way!!! The coffees though weren't very good. I got a vanilla latte and the rose latte and tbh I could barely taste the rose or the vanilla. I had asked them to make it extra pretty for me for the gram however the drinks weren't the best. I love the cute seating outdoors and there is one small indoor table, love the cute details of the flowers on the table it really adds a special touch as you can see I did a full on photo shoot. LOL. All in all my favorite spot to eat on the island. I highly recommend it. Lots of great shops to check out after you eat here. Prices are reasonable and service by Jay was fantastic. Would recommend. The toasts were freaking delicious, I came back home and made the same thing but theirs was better. :(

Amazing. They have toasts and coffee, teas, and some sweet treats. We tried the avocado toast, egg toast salad, and the ricotta. They were all delicious. They are spread on top of a thick toast of sourdough and was perfect. I got the matcha and it was not too sweet, I could taste the matcha. The service was also wonderful ! A Must-Try Spot! During our visit from Los Angeles, we discovered a coffee spot that left us craving more. From our first sip of iced matcha to our last bite of Nutella toast, every visit was a treat. We were excited to visit Arvo because it has every millennial's dream-Instagram worthy interior, color scheme, and simple food and drinks you could not possibly not like! We ended up ordering the: Egg Salad Toast Matcha Latte Lavender Latte We had requested the drinks to be served in ceramics to be more eco friendly as well but that went out the door because we ended up with paper branded Arvo cups. Given the nice weather, the umbrellas and picnic tables are very fitting. While the egg salad toast and dill pickles were good, it was very unsettling when we found hair (sadly not mine) in our food which leads me to think it's not the cleanest here. I feel like this isn't the first time this has happened at Arvo, however the branding is probably outweighs this experience. I wouldn't come back given the lack of cleanliness for their food, but would try their latte!

GIRL BREAKFAST Good spot to try at least one as it is more of a novelty. I feel that menu was overpriced considering it was just arugula or avocado on toast. It is located in SALT Kakaako which does have a paid parking structure, otherwise, you just have to get lucky with street parking. Outdoor seating is limited and first come first served. It was nice that after brunch we were able to check out some of the surrounding local shops.

Arvo is pretty much mid in every category that matters, but the aesthetic was nice? After asking for the drinks to be made to be enjoyed in the cafe, they still served it in the plastic to-go cups, so not great since now it felt like a waste of plastic/cups and apparently the reusable ceramic cups are for show? Unfortunately non-existent latte art on the matcha latte (so actually maybe mid aesthetic as well) and the oat milk overpowered the matcha so it didn't really taste like much The iced lavender latte had such a mild flavor that I wondered if I had just ordered an iced coffee and I imagined the lavender it was so faint The egg toast was okay, just a pretty bland egg salad on bread which you would expect? I did not expect the hair that was in the egg salad, so sufficed to say this was a pretty bad experience and I would recommend making your own toast at home, bringing it and eating it there to take your aesthetic photos

This was my second time coming here with my husband and two kids so we got a few of their dishes: egg salad sandwich, meatball, and nutella. Everything was good and toddler approved. The best part was their bread. I'm still thinking about it. It was the perfect crisp and softness and made each of the dishes 10x better. The ambiance was great given that its outdoors and the weather was perfect for the early mornings. They have shade umbrellas plus an indoor area so its great they have options. Service wise, they were extremely friendly. Although my egg salad took a bit longer than usual, I was still content with all the food. Looking forward to returning.

Arvo's cafe is nestled in Kaka'ako with plenty of outdoor dining tables. They offer great breakfast options, but my favorite of course has to be their avocado toast. Amazing if you like coffee aesthetics for your IG, this is the place to be. Food was amazing I enjoyed the egg salad sandwich and the salmon sandwich. Lavender latte is very pretty with the rose petals on top. It's a cute coffee shop. If you're visiting Hawaii, make sure this place goes on your list.

Was my matcha parfait tasty? It was okay Was it aesthetically pleasing? Yes Is it worth $10? Not in this economy I may stick to a coffee order next time as the vibes are cute.

Came back here after awhile and honestly it's still really good! The Charcoal latte tasted just as I remembered, it has the perfect amount of sweetness and bitterness from the coffee. As for the Smoked Salmon toast, it still tasted just as good! They definitely changed the bread and it's much more thicker, but still good. Overall, very filling meal, the staff was nice, and food came out really fast! I wouldn't mind coming back again once in awhile since it's a little $$!

The matcha whipped cream, that's all! I get the avocado toast and acai bowl with this magical whipped cream, these are my go to menu items always. This cafe is situated in SALT right in the middle with outdoor seating. It's such a cute spot with delicious food and coffee. Definitely a must try when you're in Kaka'ako! Everyone there is so friendly and welcoming :-)
