Large range of works in several styles, though quite routinely looking - perhaps mostly aiming cruise passengers, in my opinion.

Lovely gallery director. Excellent range of art work. Great connection with and knowledge of the artist. We actually met the artist of a piece that we saw and instantly loved, so we bought on the spot! We'd love to come back and get more when we can afford it. There is a range of prints, plates, coasters, etc too.

Purchased a Yuendumu Dog Program piece. Can't believe how you can get such an intricate piece, ship to and hold in Hobart and sell for only $45. Amazing. While I was there the proprietor greeted visitors from a cruise boat - each in their native tongue. Again, remarkable.

Don't buy anything here, it's so expensive. Two or three times more expensive than Adelaide galleries or WA galleries for the same paintings from the same artists... A 30x30cm painting for 400$ ??? really ??? I've seen the same for 130$ !!! What a joke ! I bought most of my paintings directly from the artist and others in good galleries in direct relation with artists. In all the cities you only find these kind of crazy prices. If you want real arts at real price, travel a bit in Australia ;)

My family and I have spent four days in Hobart and we have been to the gallery three times. The knowledge of Ewan (the owner and director) is outstanding and it was an educational experience for all of us. Too many excellent artworks to choose from, so I have bought home printed images of four so I can decide when we get home, and he will post one to us in Victoria. I learned more at this gallery than some of the museums I've been to on this trip!

This was my first time entering an art shop, to find an art piece for a gift for my sister. Very nervous - I'm not art literate, didn't have any idea what to find there, and had opinion that the place was 'cold' and expensive. I don't have any choice, so me and my family entered the place, and to our surprise, the owner was welcoming, answering our questions patiently, and helping us find the right gift. It was a good experience for all of us. I'm not saying that I'm becoming an art expert after visiting this place, but with the good experience we had, I started to love the arts and want to explore more!

This was a perfect experience. From the time we called to make a booking - coming from Sydney we completely understand that there is a need to wait until the space is safe to enter. The gallery is very welcoming with a vast collection of beautiful works, and two certificates of authentication are provided. Thank you very much to Euan and Jack for your wonderful hospitality. We cannot wait to return

Great shop, and so glad we visited. Bought a magnificent painting by Mick Quilliam, a stunner. The owner, Euan, could not have been more helpful. Invoice sent with photo, bio, and just so professional. Euan packed the painting we bought on the Wednesday, and it arrived home in Perth on the Sunday. Again, packed so it was bomb proof. Next time I will be using Euan's expert knowledge to help chose, as just so many good art works, but at least he knows my preferences. As for price, as good as anywhere, because we have been looking for a few years now, so disagree on an early review on price.
