Art House Custom Framing

I had a challenging job for Abed. An aging, precarious and delicate presentation of Malaysian butterflies had to be reset in a new frame (photos below). The final product wasn’t just a new frame but a significantly improved artistic presentation. My mom was very happy with the work. The price was no indication of the diligent effort and care reflected in the final product. Highly recommended.

Recently had a great experience here. I walked in, not sure what to expect, and was greeted very warmly. He answered my questions and I returned shortly thereafter with the piece in question (oil painting on Un-stretched canvas). The work was completed exceptionally quickly (24 hrs later) and the price was super reasonable compared to what I had been quoted elsewhere.

Spent over 200$ and received an incredibly warped image in a black frame. When I returned to get it fixed the staff told me it needed to be hard backed and it would cost me an extra 50$ for the backing and 40$ to repair it... Obviously I was not going to pay 40$ to have them fix their own mistake so I payed the extra 50$. When I picked up the frame today there were clear marks on the whites of the image that I cannot remove because it's behind glass. I do not want to return for another charge and week wait time. Never returning again.

My expectations were not matched with the result. The discussion about how my canvass was to be mounted was very clear and well understood and reviewed by the staff at the Art House. The final result fell far short. It was not stretched equally on all sides and the corners were less than neatly set in place. I used their reply email system to pursue my disappointment. Now some one month later, have not had a reply. I had expected they would wish to improve the mounting but they have not shown any willingness to make a correction.

A great job on a cherished print. This is the only framing shop I will ever use.

I got my diploma framed here! They are very friendly! The worker spent lots of time with me finding something I'd love. They completed the service quickly and at an extremely reasonable price.

Got 2 vintage posters mounted on wood and they look so sooo nice. Totally worth the money and can't wait to bring more stuff to get framed 😻

I have taken several pieces in over the years and most recently got a piece reframed. Blazej did a great job, he's helpful and friendly, it's nice to have this shop in our neighbourhood.
