This is the perfect place for a low-key, catch-up with friends and family. My current favorite cider is the Grant's Pumpkin. It tastes like fall in a cup! The pretzels were brushed with garlic butter, they didn't last long enough for a pic. The Ruben was incredible I would recommend for anyone who likes Rubens. You will not be disappointed!

Google
Great place to spend some time outdoors while the weather is good! The cider is very good and the atmosphere is great! There are multiple big tables and several "traditional" games to play. The only thing I missed was some background music throughout the afternoon. But, overall, great place to hang out with friends outdoors.

Google
From the Cleveland area where I got introduced to these guys and Arsenal has become my favorite cider over the years so we stopped by the original cider house where it started! If you havent been here and you like ciders, your missing out! The sorbet hits the spot on a hot day as well. They do have shortened hours so be sure to check those to make sure they are opened

Brian Vinson

Google
I was disappointed when I saw a closed sign in the window on a Saturday late afternoon… until I saw the sign on the door telling me that they were open outside! A better venue for enjoying the cider anyway!! They had live music and an area for playing cornhole and plenty of seating. It was an enjoyable place to have a drink. They had multiple ciders on tap, listed from driest to sweetest, and you could sample what you wanted. You could buy an overpriced plastic cup full or a much more reasonable refillable 1 liter glass bottle ($4 cheaper for the refill!). Parking was a hassle but nothing major. The raspberry cider was fantastic!

Google
Talk about an awesome spot for a cider drinker like myself. I happened upon this place as I was having dinner down the street and friends mentioned this place and we decided to mosey on over. We were able to taste a few ciders and I left with two bottles. I highly recommend

Google
This is a go to spot when in Pittsburgh. They have a variety of different ciders that fits all taste preferences. They do a great job of deciphering the sweetness level, flavor profiles and alcohol percentage. I also like how most ciders have a higher percentage to them. The inside area is vintage and the outdoor area is very accommodating. There is a variety of picnic tables, connect four, ring toss and Cornhole.

Google
I am obsessed with Arsenal Cider. It is my favorite. I seek it out anytime I go to buy craft beer and cider. This brand is really important to me and this is the first time I've had the chance to make it out to the cider house. They had so many interesting new things I haven't tried in cans. I ordered the Spicy Archibald & The Rhubarb. Both were magnificent! I can't wait to go back sometime. The outside patio was adorable and so quaint for just sitting and drinking with friends.

Google
Fantastic selection of ciders displayed from dry to sweet. Allowed 3 samples and none of them disappointed. I've seen arsenal cans all around but it was a great experience to come to their cider house. Saw that events are often hosted and would love to come back for one.

Yelp
What's not to love about arsenal cider house. They have a great variety of ciders. My favorite is the ginger cider! Along with the ciders their food is delicious and fresh! I highly recommend their hummus. The Italian sandwich and pastrami were both delicious as well. They have indoor and outdoor areas. The outdoor area has cornhole and connect 4 to play while here. They are also dog friendly with doggy bags to clean up after your pet. The employees have always been helpful and attentive.

Yelp
If ONLY we had a place like Arsenal in our neighborhood - I mean, I would drive an hour for a place like it. Alas, I live in California and have to keep Arsenal at the top of the itinerary whenever we visit Pittsburgh. Arsenal is so unique - I haven't been anywhere like it, from the tap handles and decor, to the cider selection, outdoor area and personalization of growlers. Staff are so warm and welcoming whenever we come in - they make recommendations based on tastes, and they make every visit personal. The ciders are so refreshing, flavorful and potent! We brought growlers home, and I loved that mine said Sergeant Sammi. The outdoor area is great, especially with fire pits in the fall and winter. I'll just have to wait until my next Pittsburgh visit - which I might just schedule soon - to go back!

Nate S.

Yelp
Come for the music trivia, leave with a stomach full of delicious sider and delicious soft pretzel. Now the options here would be better suited for a luncheon - the sandwiches are very nice just not a good dinner. Service is always delightful, highly recommend this spot.

Tyler P.

Yelp
Showed up at Arsenal for trivia on a Wednesday and it is such a hidden gem. The lawn is large with plenty of tables. The Pretzels were great, and so were two of their non alcoholic options. They had locally brewed root beer and and ginger beer that were super tasty. Their flavors were strong and they had much less sugar than a traditional soda. The owner came up and pet my dog towards the end of the night. He was super nice!

Nicole P.

Yelp
10/10 would recommend! My sister and I stopped in for the first time on a Sunday and had a great experience. The place is kind of on the smaller side, but they had a nice outdoor area with a small fire pit and outdoor heaters which were perfect for the chilly afternoon. They have a nice assortment of ciders ranging from dry to sweet. Archibald had me at Hello at one of the other local spots, however, to my surprise the ginger is definitely my new favorite. If you're not a ginger person (like I thought), I would definitely recommend trying a sample! I'm kind of bummed that I didn't know about this place sooner but just moving back to the Burgh recently I'm sure there's a lot of other Burgh gems that I still need to explore!

Jessica M.

Yelp
So good! I appreciate that they have Arsenal all over the city, but nothing like trying all the variety at the cider house itself. I love the drier stuff and the broken hearts was a winner for me. My partner got a ginger one and that was also delicious. Friendly staff and nice cozy place. Outside was spacious and we were lucky enough to snag a spot by the fire pit. A Pittsburgh must.

Charlotte K.

Yelp
We normally love this place. Great drinks and ambiance, however I was very disappointed with the service and how we were treated. A member of our group didn't have their ID (which we've never been IDed before) and they asked her to not drink AND THEN came back and asked her to leave after she said she wouldn't drink. She willingly left (and was going to run home to grab the ID) and we totally respected the rules and understood it's the law. However we were unfairly treated and belittled the whole time we were there. So sad about this experience, the staff were overall very rude.

Samantha R.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots around town! The outdoor space has tons of tables and they allow dogs so it's always a fun time. My favorite cider is consistently the ginger but I do love their seasonal ciders in the winter. The folks who work here are super chill and let you try a number of ciders til you're happy. Also, get the growler - you end up saving a fair bit if you're a regular like me.

Rachel T.

Yelp
We have had lots of great experiences here over the years. Arsenal Cider is located in an old row house in Lawrenceville. They have a variety of sweet and dry ciders, as well as mead and wine. We go every year for the snowbound cinnamon, which has become my family's favorite! Growlers are reasonably priced and after you buy 10 on your punch card, you get a growler for free. The cider sorbet is awesome in the summer too. I had something peach flavored and loved it. The space inside is small, but they have a nice outdoor area in the Summer. They are happy to let you sample before you purchase. Check out this great local business in Lawrenceville!

Michele E.

Yelp
Great place to go for a drink. The outdoor area is great for hanging out with your friends or your dog! Very clean and friendly staff! Check it out!

Katelynn D.

Yelp
Absolutely LOVE Arsenal Cider House. Every time I'm in the area, I have to stop and fill my growlers! Right now, you can only drink on the premise if you sit outside and order food from their sandwich shop. We were desperate for some time out of the house, so that's exactly what we did! I'm familiar with most of their ciders, but there was a couple of new ones listed on the board. Three samples were allowed per person, so I decided to try the new flavors. I ended up sticking with my two favorites Snowbound (seasonal) and Fighting Elleck (year round). My boyfriend and I filled up a growler with Snowbound and split an Italian sandwich. The Snowbound did not disappoint (it never has); it contains the perfect amount of sweetness and cinnamon! The sandwich was delightful. Several Italian meats plus mozzarella cheese toasted between two large pierce of bread... yummm! My only complaint is that I wish it came with a side - a side other than half a pickle. Something as simple as a bag of chips would've done the trick. This is honestly one of our favorite places to visit in the area! The interior is cute and classy, and the outdoor area has grown tremendously over the years!

Krista Z.

Yelp
While not being able to go inside - I did curbside pick up of three growlers - raspberry, blueberry and Archibald! Usually I pick up at Trax Farm - two birds and all - but this time Lawrenceville is closer. So easy -- called them up and the lady that answered walked me through options they had. Card over the phone and off I went to pick up! Parking was easy to find - right out front. Popped the trunk - they brought out and thanked me for my ordered. Super friendly! Definitely going back for more ( or refill when allowed again). Thank you Arsenal!!

Ashley C.

Yelp
I went to Arsenal Cider House for the first time this weekend and loved it! They have a really fun outdoor area with picnic tables and corn hole games that can be fun for the whole family. I tried their ginger and cinnamon cider and liked the ginger better. I feel like the cinnamon cider would be better around the holidays. The ginger one was smoother and felt like it could be enjoyed at any time of the year, especially summertime! I will definitely go here again for a fun afternoon or evening.

Chandni L.

Yelp
This 4 star review is for the cider, not for the food. But I'll get to that later. I had a growler, so I got a refill of the Archibald cider for $15 (about 5 dollars cheaper than the normal price). The growler is 32 oz. I really liked that you can sample ciders to decide what you want. Archibald is one of my favorite flavors because it is semi dry and isn't overly sweet, although I really liked the ginger one as well. To sit there and enjoy your drink, you have to buy food to go along with it. My companions and I got the Cubano, the grilled cheese, and the hummus. Servers bring food out to you when you're ready. The outdoor area is gorgeous, with string lights and wooden benches for food, drinks, and conversations. The food is where I would give this place 2-3 stars. First, it took more than 30 minutes for my table to get food, and people who had arrived well after us got their sandwiches before us. Second, the sandwiches were decent but the hummus was absolutely abysmal. My friend stated it tasted weirdly like ice cream- we asked the server and it turns out the flavor was cherry vanilla. Not only is that a weird flavor for a hummus, it was not advertised or mentioned at all when she ordered it. The bartender was nice about it and gave her a refund for the hummus, but I found it inappropriate that they didn't have any advertisement regarding this unusual flavor. They also didn't have regular hummus and since they didn't have any other vegan offerings, my friend remained hungry. If you go to arsenal, you will most likely enjoy the environment and the cider. The sandwiches are also decent. I would however, ask that you proceed with caution with the hummus- it seems they experiment with flavors weekly and don't usually have original hummus.

Yelp
We stopped in late on a Sunday afternoon, just before closing. Arsenal Cider House has a nice, small indoor space and a very large outdoor space. This is a great summer hang out! The bartender was very friendly, and let us taste several ciders. We ultimately chose to order the Archibold's Ado and the Sour Cherry cider. The Archibold's Ado was a very crisp, semi-sweet, and bubbly apple cider. The Sour Cherry cider was tart at first, but became sweeter as you drank more. Both ciders were absolutely delightful! I tasted the Spicy Archibold's and can't wait to order that next time.

Molly R.

Yelp
It's about that time for my two favorite seasonal ciders. Arsenal has a great pumpkin and an even better winter cider. Their pumpkin cider is officially out, and they have a great system to pre-order and pick up. Can't wait for snowbound cinnamon later this year.

Graham K.

Yelp
This is everything you want in a cider house. They pour small cups of samples of their variety of ciders. From dry to sweet, traditional flavors to fruit infusions, they truly run the gamut. Arsenal has a couple different locations, but this one is built into an old house. The antique-y interior fits the civil war vibe of their labeling. You can get an 8oz pour or fill up a growler. They have unique bottles where they will label your name and can bring it back for a cheaper refill (worth it). The times that I went in were filled with locals, or at least I have to assume that they are because most people were bringing back growlers. Cool spot, tasty ciders, passionate employees. All around great.

Yelp
What a fun place to go during the summer!! My family and I went here on Saturday to try it out. I had recently had one of their ciders and wanted to go to the actual Cider House and I am glad I did! When you first get there, they let you have three free samples. I ended up having a ginger cider and on a hot summer day, it was amazing. It was so refreshing. But what was more refreshing was their Alcoholic Slushie!!!! I love ice cream. I love alcohol and these two together. Wow. Just wow. I probably could have ordered a lot more if I didn't have dinner plans after my visit here! What's nice about this place is that they have a nice outdoor seating area (though if it's a crowded day be sure to bring your own seats or else you'll probably end up standing!) There was a live band there. Music was good. Their jokes.......not so much. Overall would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Elizabeth L.

Yelp
The ciders are fantastic!! Any other cider has been ruined for me! The backyard felt very cozy, and the staff are extremely nice! If you've never been, it's an absolute must-go!

Joe D.

Yelp
Best cider in PA! Check them out or you'll miss out!! I've been ordering Arsenal cider online during the pandemic, and sometimes getting crowlers locally, and the quality of the cider is always great. The descriptions for each cider are spot on. Arsenal has also provided excellent customer service with my shipped orders. I recently had a problem shipping through Vinoshipper and Bill at Arsenal contacted me before I even realized that there was a problem. Arsenal noted what the problem was via an email to me, and before I even asked he had indicated they already sent a full replacement order. That process was so quick that we got the delayed shipment Monday & the full replacement on Tuesday! Even though both shipments arrived, Bill told me *to keep* the replacement shipment! And they included free swag for the mix up (that wasn't even their fault!). We appreciated the great customer service, as well as the great cider and mead, and will definitely be getting more in the future. Thanks to all Arsenal Cider staff who make this great product and provide such excellent customer service! We can't recommend them enough.

Tori N.

Yelp
Love this place- got me falling in love with cider. Tip for the newbies: get a growler and come back to refill it. I like their classic Archibald's and the Ginger one. There's some outdoor seating with HEATERS!!!

Tricia H.

Yelp
So many kinds of cider and mead, very knowledgeable people, and samples!! It's in a small house on a busy street, kinda hard to locate but worth the search. I can only drink cider and this place is great.

Daniel H.

Yelp
I'm not a big cider fan but Arsenal has a wide variety of ciders including drier which I believe the waitress mentioned was pear. Which packed a good amount of alcohol. I believe there was only outdoor seating.

Casey K.

Yelp
Looking for cider? Go no further. I almost exclusively drink cider, so when I say that this place is great...I really mean it. However, regardless of your thoughts on cider, you need to stop by this place! There's always a variety on tap, which you can try before you settle on one. My personal favorite is either the Fighting Elleck or Bone Dry, depending on my mood for the evening. Not only do I love the cider, but the great story of this place: starting this location as a way for the owners to spend more time with their kids and working from their own home. That said, this place can be hard to miss if you don't know to look for it. But once you're there, you MUST not only try the cider, but do it in the backyard area where there is typically live music and a food truck to round out the visit. This place really is a gem and I'm so glad that many other local Pittsburgh businesses regularly keep Arsenal on tap!

Diane B.

Yelp
Great cider with many options - sweet, dry and in-between. Friendly staff and laid back atmosphere. Beautiful outside area - a little chilly tonight, but they can't control that. Can't wait to come back on a sunny day with a picnic.

Katie M.

Yelp
Love love love it here. Great cider, great space, always a great time. Honestly the best deal is to split a growler, much cheaper then buying individual glasses. Make sure to get a punch card started!

Amie W.

Yelp
I came here to celebrate my birthday with 2 other friends. We signed up for the Cheese Curd making class. As soon we arrived, the staff had us start making these super delicious brown sugar biscuits as other people were making cheese curds at the moment. Everything was laid out and mostly measured out for us. In the middle of the class, while the biscuits were baking, the staff took us for a tour around the cider house as we sipped on glasses of cider. Afterwards, it was our turn to make the cheese curds. The staff was very attentive and helpful during the whole cooking process. Most importantly, we were able to sip on apple cider throughout the whole night :) In the end, we were all able to go home with a box of biscuits and cheese curds. Since one of the staff overheard that it was my birthday, she brought a slice of apple pie with vanilla ice cream and a candle on top. It was a nice touch to finish off the night and shows the staff's kindness.

Phillis J.

Yelp
Sweet place with a good range. The guy with the goatee (really sorry I didn't catch his name!) was super friendly, he obviously knew a lot about the different drinks and gave great recommendations. Also, dog friendly!

Larissa J.

Yelp
I absolutely love cider and Arsenal is by far my favorite cider joint EVER!! They had so many options from dry ciders to sweet ciders to ciders made with raspberries and boysenberries!!! When you arrive, they give you 3 samples of their many flavors on draught...so many options! Don who was the server working when we visited was amazing. He had the perfect blend of humor and patience and he was really good at making us feel comfortable and allowed us to try a variety of ciders until we found one that we wanted to drink and buy a growler of to bring home! The space is also great...they have an enclosed porch in the back with a fire pit and heated lamps which made it very comfortable to sit around and hang out! Love this place!!! If we visit again, this would be a stop!!!

Melissa P.

Yelp
If you were just driving past Arsenal Cider, it would look just like any other house in Lawrenceville. When you walk in though, it's a really cool unique building. The selection of ciders was awesome, and they let you sample 3 before you buy. I bet it's a lot of fun to hang out in the outdoor seating area when the weather's warmer-- it was still too cold when we stopped by, but I guess we'll just have to go back!

Merlyn R.

Yelp
The best cider in Pittsburgh. There are so many breweries and bars that serve Arsenal Cider and for good reason. Arsenal has a continually rotating menu with ever beverage being a knockout. The back of the house has a nice area for a big group to go sit and share a growler. This is undoubtly one of the places I miss most during the stay at home orders and I can't wait to be back!

Colin M.

Yelp
There's not much else to say that hasn't already been mentioned. Arsenal and I go way back from my Lawrenceville days when I used to live a block away. I can say with no uncertain terms that no one has deserved the success as much as they have. A great product, a wonderful staff and they've even kept prices more thank reasonable. I enjoy all of their flavors, and I've never had a disappointing experience here. Looking forward to see what new ciders they come up with next!

Brittany P.

Yelp
Came here with a small group of friends and my dog and I must say it was so much fun! The food they have is delicious- none of us complained about our sandwiches. The ciders are always delicious and the staff are friendly, polite and knowledgeable. This establishment takes corona virus prevention seriously and the area was clean and safe. I recommend anyone come here to chase away the quarantine blues.

Mary Kate E.

Yelp
I liked Arsenal a lot. The selection is vast and very tasty! I really enjoyed the growlers I got and was very happy with the pint I had. So why the 4 stars? Well, to be very frank, I felt really awkward standing there asking for samples and not actually having a place to sit down to enjoy them. The woman literally was standing at the machine asking me what samples I wanted to try. I can't understand why they do not have a proper area to do samplings anyway. We had gone to a few breweries in the area and had a blast. I even got to try Arsenal at that brewery and that is what led us here. But, to stand there asking for samples like I am at Whole Food or Sam's Club asking the kind associate to give me another sample of whatever? That's what I felt like. It was weird. We've all been there. Ciders are amazing. I enjoyed most of what I tasted. As I mentioned before, I brought home 2 growlers of the seasonal pumpkin cider and one growler of their reisling cider. It was sooooo good. The offer anything from super dry to super sweet. Regardless of your preference, you're bound to find something you like. 4 stars and yes, I do love their cider.

Anokhy D.

Yelp
Solid brewery with great options. As of last night, the ciders on tap included "bone dry" apple, rhubarb, blueberry, blackberry, cranberry, and a few other apples. They had a helpful list of their ciders from most to least dry. I got cranberry (on the sweeter end) and it was dangerously good. I almost forgot to take a picture until I was nearly done! If you're driving, look out for the blackboard propped up in front. Loads of street parking.

Marissa M.

Yelp
I AM OBSESSED WITH ARSENAL! If it's a nice day out, do yourself a favor and head to Arsenal Cider House, sit outside and share a growler or 2 (or more) of cider! When you head inside, it might be a little crowded, but don't be intimidated, they get through the line pretty quickly. Even though I've been there many times, I always go for the samples first, because they are continually coming out with new flavors! You can choose 3 samples to try ( I usually share with my boyfriend so I can try more) which is nice so that you know which ones are your favorite. My go to, is Fighting Elleck, a delicious semi dry that goes down almost a little too easily! I think the best value is to get a growler plus they look so cool and they give you a military ranking which is super fun! After you grab your cider, head back out the door and around the corner and find a spot outside. They have a big grassy area with tables and benches and on weekends they usually have food trucks and live music. I highly recommend this place for to come to relax, to meet friends, or to bring out of towners! Oh, another awesome thing is that the outside is dog friendly and I have pet so many dogs here (with permission of course)! Dogs + Cider = Happiness :)

April R.

Yelp
Love Arsenal Cider House! Whether it is Summer, Fall, Spring, or Winter, they always have awesome drinks to try and the atmosphere is always great. We recently when here in the Fall and you can still go outside even if it's chilly. They also have an inside area of course. At night they have fire pits available too! I also love that it's dog friendly and dogs can be seen roaming inside and outside! They allow you to taste three ciders of your choice when you arrive. Recently I had the hot mulled cider in a mug and it was perfect on a chilly day! They have a small selection of food which I didn't know about but we noticed a menu when we were sitting down. We did not try the food but maybe next time. Cant wait to return!

Michele P.

Yelp
This was place is so much fun. The service is great and the atmosphere is fun. The ciders were all good. We really like the slushy cider on a hot afternoon. The outside area is really nice and would be perfect for just hanging out with some friends. I definitely recommend this place.

Derek P.

Yelp
If ciders are your thing and even if they're not, this place is fantastic! Awesome staff and ciders are amazing. Try their frozen cider...it's never too cold :) Awesome!

Jeremy M.

Yelp
One of my truly favorite places to go in Pittsburgh. Whether it's Soergels or Lawrenceville, they always have a great selection of ciders with a very inviting atmosphere. My wife and I have been going since they opened and the owner, Michelle, is a very kind person that's always been so friendly to my family. They have a great combination of excellent product, atmosphere, and customer service. If you go to Soergels get the turkey, cz, apple slice on a pretzel bun from their deli!!!

Tom T.

Yelp
I really enjoy coming here. The staff is friendly. The ciders are refreshing. The space inside is small, but the yard is large. It has a family friendly atmosphere. My only complaint is lack of seating outside. But, everyone always seems to be enjoying themselves while they are there.

Jason L.

Yelp
This place is great. It is a little hard to find - we walked by it initially but then saw the sign on the sidewalk out front. You get three free tastings. They have a nice selection with some ciders dry and some sweet - I really liked the Archibald, which was one of the sweeter ones. The ginger one was fun too. Nice outdoor space- both a covered terrace and a yard.

Shiji W.

Yelp
Love it. Great place to hang out. Pumpkin special is well tasted! My favorite one is ginger cider- it is semi-sweet, fresh with this brilliant combination. Eager to try more menu!

Ben E.

Yelp
Not only does Arsenal make super super awesome cider made from local apple orchard apples, but it also has a fantastic outside garden area. The thing to do here is bring some food to have a picnic and bring a growler. Lay out your spread and go send someone to fill the growler. Drink and repeat. Some nights there's love music as well which just makes the whole thing even better!

Natalie S.

Yelp
We went to see the 90s cover band and they were awesome. It was pretty crowded so we stood behind where the band was near the building itself. I only give this place 4 stars because it doesn't have food or enough seating. But the ciders are on point, they serve you quickly and the atmosphere is so relaxed. You might think you're getting ripped off when you see the size of your serving but don't forget, these are all at least 8% ABV! I want to come back and bring a picnic basket of snacks!

Katherine R.

Yelp
This place is great! I came here with a friend on a Friday afternoon and we sat out back on the patio. I was offered 3 samples when I came in and they were all great. I also got to sample the wine sorbet, which I ended up getting. It was a cherry honey flavored wine sorbet, and it was really good! My favorite cider I tried was the Concord grape cider that they had on tap. It was so good and I hope they bring it back soon!

Chrissy T.

Yelp
I've always enjoyed the ciders by Arsenal; but, I never had the chance to actually check out their location while in town. Today, we stopped by Arsenal Cider House and I was really glad that we did! We passed it a few times (haha) because we didn't realize it looked like a house and missed the sign on the sidewalk while driving. I've posted a picture to help those visiting for the first time. When we did realize where it was, we were able to park across the street. FYI: it seems they have only on street parking. Inside of the cider house is really warm and rustic. They were decorated for the holiday which made it even more cozy inside. There are a few tables for seating inside; but, we also found that they have more seating toward the back behind the bar. It seems as though they have an outdoor patio area around back, as well. They have quite a few options on the draft list and allow you to sample three ciders for free. Everything I tried was absolutely delicious. My favorites are their cranberry cider and the apple/ginger cider. Soooo yummy. We wound up getting a growler to go. :) The bartender who assisted us was really friendly, which made the visit even more enjoyable. We will definitely be visiting again for their tasty ciders!

Yelp
My review is specific to COVID times. This was only the 2nd bar/brewery I've been to since the start of pandemic. The first one was in Millvale and had hardly anyone there so it was a very different experience. I was really nervous about going out on a Saturday night in Lawrenceville when a friend suggested it but I knew they had a really nice outdoor area and I've always loved Arsenal so I figured I would give it a shot. We got there around 5 and left around 8 and it got more crowded as time went on. There's a sandwich place connected now called Haversack which makes fantastic sandwiches. Due to current COVID rules you have to buy food from there in order to purchase alcohol, but it's ok to just get chips if you aren't that hungry. The outdoor area is well setup for for social distancing and the tables are very well spaced. They also had a firepit going which was nice. However, there was no one monitoring social distancing of this area or limiting the number of people there, so as the tables filled up, people started bringing blankets and putting themselves in between tables. Most people tried to position themselves still 6 feet away, but in some areas people were only 2-3ft apart. I was relieved no one tried to set up right next to our table so I still felt ok in my position in the center table. Others moved benches from tables to setup their own sitting area. One group had as many as 12 people! I include some photos here so people can get a sense to figure out if it's within what they are comfortable with (I tried to find photos before I planned to go but couldn't find recent ones, so hope these are helpful). Also, as more people were let in than there were tables available, as soon as you showed any signs of leaving people would flock to your table to grab it but they would come right up to you with no masks on! There were also a ton of dogs running around, so it's important to like dogs if you go here. Some of the owners were not great about picking up after their dogs as there was some dog poop in the grassy area where people were sitting. So to buy drinks you had to wait in line outside as they were limiting the number of people in, but instead of having one person from a group go in to place the order entire groups went in together which made it much more crowded and difficult to socially distance in line or inside (not sure if there was a rule limiting the number of growlers you could purchase). In line outside about half the people had their masks off but masks were required inside and everyone was compliant there. Samples were still allowed but it felt stressful and less enjoyable as it used to be to try samples as you had to take off your mask to take a sample and the line was super long. Trying samples and discussing the options with staff is one of the things I used to enjoy most at breweries that I really miss, but I know this part is hard right now. Their ciders are fantastic as always. I always appreciate that they have both dry and sweet ones, as I prefer ones on the drier side. They seem to have fewer red ones than they used to have which may be a seasonal thing, but would love to see more of those back. I don't know if they were selling individual cups of cider as everyone was purchasing growlers because the line would take about 15 minutes to get all the way through. I think it would be better if they provided some outdoor table service to reduce the number of people waiting in line and inside and also had some staff monitoring the outdoor area to ensure compliance with social distancing.

Yelp
Awesome backyard "Biergarten" vibe. Haven't had a bad cider from here yet. Great prices as well.
