Argo Cafe

It’s my second time at Argo, and loved it again. I’m glad I made it there before their 1 month temporary closure (until Feb 12, 2025) It has a relaxed and retro vibe with cozy seating. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the staff made sure our coffee cups were always full. We tried the braised short ribs Benedicts for brunch, and it was absolutely stellar. Incredibly tender, and flavorful. Generous portions, and they have soups as entree). Will definitely try the chicken and waffles next time (it looked amazing every time it came out of the kitchen).

You could walk right by this place and not notice it but that would be a mistake. This little hole in the wall has fantastic food. We got a booth right away and had a server help us right away. The ambiance is great as the place has old time diner vibes. I enjoyed the duck confit. My wife had the chow mein dish. Both were delicious and served hot. We definitely recommend coming here for a great meal.

I was working in the area and my hunger brought me here to this little spot! I got the breakfast club on wheat and it was honestly a great meal. I'd definitely come back if work brings me out this way again.

We found the food decent but nothing overly special. My argo burger was flavorful but very oily and soggy - it kept slipping out of buns everytime I tried to have a bite. The other half ordered eggs Benedict with hash browns but got potato squares. We appreciated the complimentary soup which was delicious. The service was quick but nobody checked on us throughout the meal.

Sandwhich was delicious, crunchy, good egg. Milkshake was exquisite, better than Ricky's and White Spot's.

Unexpectedly good restaurant in a industrial area. The look from outside is a bit ghetto, but the inside is completely outstanding. Have to give the staff a thumbs up as the washroom is extremely clean. Food is very tasty! Definitely recommend!

Great place to catch breakfast. Doesn’t look much from the outside but inside is modern and the welcome friendly. Great breakfast using high quality food items that were perfectly cooked. There was nothing I didn’t like about Argo
