"Chasing the Auroras Borealis in Northern Norway If you are in Tromsø and want to see the Northern Lights outside the city, away from the light pollution, choose Arctic Guide Service. For about an hour, they drive towards dark places while they give information about Tromsø, explanations about Northern Lights and also the best way to prepare your camera for the show. They took us to three awesome spots: a beach, a frozen lake and a fjord. At the fjord we could even hear the whales and see their blow. Of course, they can't promise you the Auroras, but if they appear, just enjoy them because the guides also take pictures which are included in the price."

We booked a 2-day Northern Lights tour and had an amazing experience. The photos were included in the tour price. A special thanks to Boris – everything was very professional.

Very nice experience! This provider was not our first choice but since our original trip was cancelled they had some empty slots and let us in for this tour. Very good service, warm indoor with leather seats. Travel time and speed was fast for the whale watching location where we spent good amount of time. We spotted plenty amount of Orcas and some humpback whales! Stuff was professional! Trip was overall so immemorial so had to give 5 stars!

THEY DON’T DESERVE EVEN A STAR!!!!!! AVOID THIS COMPANY! We booked a trip to see the Northern Lights, then we drive towards Finland to see the Lights but they were not so visible, anyway..we didn’t took pictures with our devices because we been told from the beginning that they will do “professional photos” for us. I had to send them emails every single day for a week to get ONE PHOTO because they keep saying “technical issues about pictures” and were not able to upload them on the site. After I told them that I will report the payment as scam because they were not able to perform full services which we discuss at the beginning when we paid for it, the pictures has appears from nowhere 😂😂 Is WASTE OF MONEY! Don t recommend this company. They should improve their customer service as the blond “lady” from the main office opposite Burger King in Tromso was so unprofessional. She must find another job, cleaning the public toilets, that will be much appreciated for her😂😂 By the way, we went to their main office where the countryside lady was😂 and they locked the door during opening hours mentioned on the paper from the window. We also told them that if they can t provide the photos we want full refund, but they said that they can give us a 50% discount on second attempt 😂 funny. Ridiculous experience!!

We really enjoyed the walking tour "In the Footsteps of Roald Amundsen" with the excellent guide Manuel. We covered such a lot of Tromso's history and present day. Manuel was helpful, engaging, humorous and very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend it.

With only two nights in Tromso that happened to be snow clouds I was delighted to be in the company of a local driver on the bus tour who was knowledgeable and a safe and experienced driver (Gregga). We drove to Finland as the skies were clearer there and saw this natural beauty. Grateful if the free photos also ✨

Booked a northern lights chase. Had a really nice time, the guides were really nice and chose great spots. The booking confirmation has 3 different adresses, took a while to figure out wich one is the right one to meet up because none of the adresses are actually labelled. The one you see most is the office adress, the one linked to „show map“ is the drop off point. Pretty far down in the e-mail you‘ll find a long text about different meet-up times accoring to the seasons, and above that is a long text which holds a lot of non important information except the meeting adress.

They don't like other tours take you as far as possible even to Finland for the best possibility of seeing Northern light. Apart from big bus and hot chocolate, there is nothingelse. Keep telling us the parking limitation for big buses. So we had very few stopping places to see Aurora. Go if the sky is clear then they are cheap. Otherwise, if you have very little time and the weather in Tromso is bad, choose a small bus pay more to avoid disappointment.

The team took us to a good spot where there was a weak aurora, but it was next to the road, so the passing vehicles with their lights annoyed us while we were trying to see the aurora. Also, the number of guests is too big, around 40 people, which creates noise, especially since they carry torches and flashes around. If there had been a small van, it would have been easier to reach darker spots. The experience was touristic in a sense and not aurora hunting. The guides and driver were polite and helpful. However, the whole experience wasn't satisfactory.
