Very nice, family run restaurant. Excellent choice of vegetarian options, grown in the local garden. After a long drive, great place to chill. They have a quaint little shop too for memorabilia

We were on a road trip across NC500 and we came across this beautiful cafe which served such some fresh and delicious food. We had some fried gnocchi and some feta cheese which was deep fried. It was so sinful. Excellent food and service. Shouldn’t miss the magical garden which gives the secret garden vibes.

We had amazing day in Applecross walled garden. Beautiful garden and really nice friendly staffs there. With happy faces when we placed our order. We had freshly fried beer battered fish and chips. So delicious. Would recommend friends to come here.

Beautiful location, excellent food and an overall tranquil and romantic atmosphere. Just a great serendipitous discovery.

Absolutely delicious dinner. We went a bit mad and had; Chicken Tikka Skewers, Lamb, Pork Belly (our favourite), and the Meatballs, as well as the Patatas Bravas and Mixed Roast Veg sides. The homemade bread was gorgeous. Finished with Eton Mess and Chocolate Mousse. Can’t recommend enough!

Amazing day out at Applecross Walled Garden. The garden itself although small is packed to the brim with fruit and veg and lots of interesting shrubs and flowers. Beautifully kept paths and seating areas. We had lunch at the restaurant which was absolutely delicious, everything tasted so fresh, its literally from garden to plate. There are small dishes or main meals on the special board, also a lovely selection of cocktails, wine and beers. Though do save some space for dessert, really delicious. After lunch we did a large circuit walk around the estate behind the gardens, where you will find good paths and clear signposts. Lots of deer all around the area too. A fantastic day out, parking and entry to gardens are free but highly recommend you stop to eat here too. Staff were very friendly and attentive also.

I’m going back to I think 2017 outstanding and an incredible drive across probably the highest mountain road in Britain. The best soup in the world …
