Aotearoa Surf School & Board Hire

First of all, this is a very unique choice for a birthday party! And this surfing school might be the best in Auckland! At first, I encountered some problems when making the reservation, but the managers solved them all perfectly for me! And through the email communication, I could feel the school's values and the positive attitude towards guests! They make you feel that even if it's windy or rainy, it's no big deal! This made me feel very at ease! Today's birthday party was a great success. The coaches were very professional, and their physiques were excellent! Their humor and positivity also influenced our birthday guests! I highly recommend this school! Moreover, when we met the coaches at the beach, their setup was very impressive! They had their own brand flags and tents, as well as professional surfing suits, and many different sizes of surfboards. They brought a whole carload of surfboards!

My son & I had an EPIC time in Te Arai with Aotearoa surf school for a 2 hour surf lesson - super friendly and experienced instructor, stunning weather, beautiful beach, lots of laughs - and we both managed to ride some waves - can’t wait to get back. Highly recommend!

Brilliant experience! My son learnt a lot & had a blast during the school holidays with a 3 lesson package. The instructors were kind, helpful and well informed. Highly recommend! We have now booked for the after school Term 1 programme too.

Kids have attended the Ultimate Kids Surf Camp every year since they were old enough. They always have an amazing time with the team up there and come back super stoked about their experience. The coaches are passionate about the sport and their energy in the water is infectious. It's been great to watch the kid's confidence on the water grow year by year. At camp the team work hard to ensure all the kids have a great time even if it's their first journey from home. Daily email communication and photos keeps everyone in the loop about the day's excitement.

Great 3-day program, very well run by excellent coaches who were patient, taught skills, helpful always, and inspired confidence and having fun. Our 2 kids (9 and 11 yo) had a blast. This was their first time surfing. Lessons started on beach to cover skills/themes of the day, remainder of the time in the water. They went from zero to catching their own waves in just a few days time. 100% highly recommend.

What a wonderful experience we had with Paige and Thomas. Our two youngest joined a two day course on orewa beach and have left wanting a surf board and more lessons. Our youngest is 6 yrs old and at first she felt a little young but by the end of the second day she was surfing with so much confidence. Thankyou Paige and Thomas you two are great teachers. My 10 year old twins just did a week long surf camp! An amazing experience! Great food! Amazing humans teaching the kids! Overall a fantastic experience and we will definitely be back!
