Antique Taco brings a stylish twist to Wicker Park with gourmet tacos on handmade tortillas, refreshing margaritas, and a cozy, inviting vibe.
"There are two locations of Antique Taco—one in Wicker Park and one in Bridgeport. Both have dog-friendly patios and a menu full of tasty tacos on handmade tortillas, but the Bridgeport location’s outdoor space is much larger. So if the untrained puppy you adopted during quarantine still runs around like an unchecked id with sharp little teeth, this is where you want to be." - adrian kane
"There are a couple of locations of Antique Taco: Wicker Park and Bridgeport. While all their tacos feature creative fillings, our favorite are the crispy fish tacos. They’ll make you stop feeling jealous of Southern Californians, who we assume are eating delicious fish tacos all the time." - adrian kane, john ringor
"Antique Taco serves a bunch of different kinds of—you guessed it—tacos. While the classics, like their carnitas taco, are great, we prefer focusing on signature versions like their mushroom tacos with ranch dressing, or the sweet and spicy chicken. Inside, it looks like an old farmhouse, with reclaimed wood all over the place. Make sure you have room for a homemade pop tart (with marshmallow and chocolate) for dessert." - sam faye, adrian kane, john ringor
"Antique Taco gives new life to margaritas and guacamole. The colors and textures inside the space are inspiring and the food is amazing." - Anna Zajac
"There are only three margarita options at Antique Taco, but they’re balanced and surprisingly potent. The rosemary house special has a unique herbaceousness while still tasting light and citrusy, and the strawberry lemon and tropical mezcal are both good too. Importantly, they’re available by the quart if you want to be economical, or you can get a single serving in a colorful plastic cup adorned with a smiley face. Outdoor seating is limited to a few picnic tables (the Bridgeport location is bigger), but it’s a great alternative to Big Star if you don’t want to worry about neighboring tables reenacting LMFAO’s music video for "Shots." - john ringor, veda kilaru
