Additional information.... We're from out of town and identified ourselves as such so you would think they would attempt to make a great first impression. The stuffed quahog was mostly bread, just downright plain and I ordered the spicy. Have to downgrade them because we're almost $70 they should have at least accomplished an 8 and they didn't come close!!!! Also, you can see from the picture that the lobster roll was very small. The Fries weren't hot and you only get a few.

A great seafood restaurant right outside the tourist areas of Newport, but you definitely do not want to miss this food. Location has both indoor and outdoor seating. We had dogs accompanying us, and they were very generous and seated us with our dogs outside. Service was perfect, they brought the food out in a timely manner and was accommodating towards any allergies our party had. I got the New England Clam Chowder, Cod Fish and Chips, and the Fisherman's Platter. the Clam Chowder was perfect, came in a decent portion size for just a cup, and was nice and creamy but not too thick. The Fish and Chips were splendid as well. The fish was not too oily, but also was soft when cutting into it but still easy to pickup and eat with a fork. The fisherman's platter was the highlight of the meal. It was easy to distinguish what each part corresponded to even with all the breading, and similarly to the Fish & Chips, it was all soft and not too oily. Overall a 10/10, and one of the best seafood places i've ever been to. Will definitely come back again if I am ever in the Newport area.

This was a great find, as I was on the hunt for steamers and some chowder. Found them both plus more at here, and all was cooked deliciously at a good price! Also appreciated the freshness of everything I got and that includes not only steamers but the clam cakes and New England Chowdah (creamy style) Off the beaten Newport path, very casual atmosphere, and plenty of seats and options. Highly recommended.

Hot lobster roll is amazing - must try!! Kung pao calamari was great too - you could tell that it had just been made - super fresh. Clam chowder also hit the spot. Workers are very friendly and the vibes are relaxed. Would come again!

Great fish food, always fresh right from its market. Off the Newport beaten path, they have been consistently great food and service. I Have been enjoying this spot for many years!

Best Fried Clams ever!! Fish and Chips, Scallops, Clam cakes all excellent. Prices are half what you would pay in Newport. Best Seafood in Newport!!

We tried the clam strips, flounder, kung pao calamari, chowder, and some sides. Everything was delicious! Very friendly service.

We have been coming here for years and it never disappoints. Fresh lobster, fish tacos, chowder, shrimp, calamari, salmon, swordfish — you name it they do it right, and with the best quality! Even their steamed broccoli is delicious and perfectly flavored! A town staple for townies and a must visit for tourists.
