Nestled in a historic Arts District warehouse, Angel City Brewery offers a vibrant, dog-friendly hangout with communal seating, fun games, and a rotating selection of food trucks.
"Angel City is the best brewery for a drunker-than-you-planned Saturday afternoon. The space is in a massive old warehouse in the Arts District, with tons of communal seating, brewery tours, cornhole, and an entire outside area with food trucks on the weekends. Is it the best craft beer you’ll have in LA? No. But your 3pm buzz definitely doesn’t care. Lines can get long here, but if you arrive before noon, you’ll get right in." - brant cox
"Angel City Brewery isn’t brewing the best beer in the neighborhood, but it definitely has the best space. It's massive taproom and attached brewery in the heart of the Arts District is spectacular, with tons of communal tables, plenty of cornhole, and a front patio where you’ll always find a delicious food truck. Their hours go late into the night, but Angel City will always be one of our favorite day drinking spots in town. Just get there early, weekend lines here are no joke. "Angel City Brewery is a great spot to play a few matches of cornhole and order a craft beer you've never heard of before. But skim through the menu's funny-sounding beers (i.e., the Zero Flocs Given) and you'll see a "srirachalada" that's light, tangy, and slightly spicier than you'd expect. The brewery makes its own miche concentrate with lime juice, spicy pickled chiles, and a dose of Worcestershire sauce to flavor the beer. It's essentially a cold pint of ale infused with a smidge of sriracha and it's absolutely delicious, with enough chile to tingle your lips." - sylvio martins
"Angel City Brewery has been brewing beer since 1997; only in the last two years have they opened their doors and transformed their brewing space into a welcoming, friendly, popular place to visit with friends. Ask for a tour to see their giant vats of craft beer; learn about their hops growing facility on the roof above the public space. Every night has a different food truck, so no need to find dinner before heading over. The expansive space is dog friendly, and features corn-hole, Jenga and even trivia night. If you're curious, be sure to order a beer flight." - verynice
"If You Want Something From An Old Standard. Classic Sam Adams-owned Arts District spot Angel City released their version of Black Is Beautiful earlier this month, using Weathered Souls’ recipe. They’ll be donating proceeds (up to $4,800) to The NAACP." - brett keating
