Ancient Hue Garden Houses

Good, attentive service. The room is beautifully decorated. Feel like travelling back to ancient hue. We stayed in the French wing of the hotel and had a look at the ancient Hue wing. The owner was from Hue and had a passion for Hue ancient houses, so the decoration for each room was very detailed and well thought out. We stayed for 3 days in December which unfortunately rained all the time so we ended up staying in the hotel. However, it was very relaxing and enjoyable since they have a big garden and their restaurants are very nice. Definitely recommend this place.

Don’t hesitate—this hotel is a must-visit! The serene landscape and beautiful rooms create an unforgettable atmosphere. For a truly unique experience, I recommend staying in the traditional house, which made me feel like stepping back into ancient times.||The service was exceptional from start to finish. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the staff were attentive and professional. The hotel offers great tours, including visits to the Imperial City and the King’s Tomb, as well as private transfer options. Our driver was incredibly accommodating and went out of his way to meet our requests. When we asked for Cơm Hến, he patiently drove us to several spots to find the best one at the end of the tour.||Breakfast was outstanding, with a variety of delicious options. While dinner wasn’t quite to our taste, the staff sincerely sought our feedback and even offered a discount to ensure our satisfaction.||As Vietnamese who’ve been abroad for years, this stay brought back cherished childhood memories. The combination of authentic charm and exceptional service made us feel right at home. We left with full hearts and unforgettable experiences. This hotel is a true gem, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and culture.

Staying here was the highlight of our 2 week trip up and down the coast of Vietnam. My wife and I were actually only supposed to be in Hue for one night but upon arrival it was just really obvious this would be the most memorable part of our trip so we re-scheduled our flight to Hanoi to make room for 2 additional nights at this resort. The space itself is quite something. We stayed in the Royal Homes side of the resort and it was renovated just enough to bring all the needs for a luxury contemporary stay without taking away the beauty of the homes they formerly were. We ate at the Kim Long fine dining restaraunt twice - which is really saying something. Hue has so many dining options but the first dinner we had left such a great impression. The service they provide is top notch. Someone is there the answer every question you may have and to take care of any need. Finally, it’s worth mentioning how clean the space really is. It was the cleanest space we stayed during our trip. Can’t say enough good things about this place - it was the most memorable part of an extremely memorable vacation.

We spent 4 nights at Ancient Hue Garden House and it was wonderful. The Bach Ma house and rooms were absolutely beautiful and even nicer than in their photos. Staff were friendly and did everything possible to make our visit perfect. Also exceptional are the beautifully landscaped gardens, the great food and spa. I gave 5 stars for locations because I enjoy a quiet place, but note that you'll need a ride into town.

Ancient Hue, is superb. The mix of traditional Vietnamese architecture and French colonial-style villas is charming. You can really feel the history and culture in every corner in the buildings and walking through the lush gardens. Attention to detail at every turn. It’s peaceful, almost like stepping back in time. The villas are beautifully restored, and the details in the decor make it feel authentic and luxurious. It’s the perfect spot if you want to escape the busy city and just soak in some nature and history. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warmth and hospitality from the staff. They truly went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay, service overall is 10 out of 10. If you like to explore, enjoy heritage sites or just looking for a chill place to unwind in Hue, it's perfect. We rate this as the best place we have stayed in over 20 years of travelling. My husband and I overnighted at this amazing property. — not enough time to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the Ancient Hue Gardens. ||As we walked through the gate, we stepped back in time to the Imperial Era of Hue. Every detail was considered from check-in to checkout. ||The decor, the wood, the carvings. Unbelievable. And the dinner was luxurious with elaborate carrot and melon carvings and delicious preparations. We definitely recommend this delightful hotel.

Superb hotel and villas. It’s a resort out of town but complete with pools, two restaurants, a la carte breakfast in an old mandarin’s house. Wonderful staff and excellent facilities . Dinner meals were authentic as was the available Vietnamese breakfasts. Our tour guides took us out for prearranged Buddhist blessing and visits to the sites of the old capital Citadel , etc . We had two nights here .
