"Analog, Uptown by Arcsine. Walking up to Analog, you're greeted with a roped off seating area that looks like the outside of a bar, all black trim and a red logo. Inside, a vivid collection of VHS tapes and an old school television plays 'old' films and entertains the patrons. The geometric pendants and graffiti work add a young, vibrant feel amidst older architectural finishes and the lone gilded frame. No frills, just really good food and small, fun touches. Overall, Analog is snug, bright and friendly space with a cool underground vibe."

The sandwiches are the LITERAL best vegan sandwiches I've ever had. They have a cashew cheese sauce that is just amazing. Atmosphere is chill and has a retro 90's vibe. This place is now a staple for me.

One of the best vegan sandwiches I've had in the Bay Area. Rivals Portland, OR on many levels.

Great vegan food with a tude. I like the buffalo chicken sandwich aka something I can’t remember the name of.

Big sandwiches; well worth the $10 price tag. Both vegan and meat options available. The space is insanely small, so I wouldn't bring a bunch of people in to dine-in, and even coming with just one other person is hit or miss as to whether or not space will be available, but the sandwiches are delicious. They take a while to make, so my best advice if you're taking it to go is to call ahead with your order. One time my friend and I ordered a meat sandwich and a vegan sandwich to go; when we got home, we couldn't tell which one was which by the cut of the filling, and I ended up eating the wrong sandwich due to lack of labeling, which was a problem. Otherwise, I've never had an issue in-store, and everything has always been delicious.

The Rachael (a vegan Reuben sandwich) is so good I've never ordered the meat. Really awesome sandwiches and a small but well curated beer list. A bit slow but worth the wait. Recently they replaced their very nice sweet potato salad with macaroni salad, but sandwiches still great

Excellent veggie/vegan options and just plain excellent sandwiches. I normally don't go out of my way for sandwiches in general, but this place is an exception. Definitely worth multiple visits to try all their stuff.

Interesting, young vibe with old movies and loud music. Fantastic food which has drawn us back almost weekly since we discovered it. My favorite was the Rachel (a vegan reuben); my new favorite is the vegan curry "chicken" sandwich- it is delicious. The air fried waffle potatoes are also great. Also highly recommend the vegan cookies (in a jar by the cashier)- fresh and unbelievably good!

Ive been religiously eating analog sandwiches biweekly for 100 weeks and I can honestly say that my quality of life has skyrocketed. I think about the VHS vegan all the time. Those thick mushrooms, sweet sweet sweet potato puree, those avocado delights, and that BREAD. Damn. That bread. It doesn't get much better than that bread.
