Beautiful venue, easy to reach by public transport. Not many places in the waiting area. Great acoustic.

A must visit. Unique place where the past sacrum lives on through music, artworks, dates with friends and colleagues and Instagram. Candlelight concert by Fever was breathtaking.

What a gorgeous place. From the outside it is not obvious, but AMUZ is an old church reconstructed for events. I discovered this place since AMUZ was the afterparty for the Museumnight in Antwerp. What a place to be at for an afterparty, incredibly beautiful!

I recently attended a candlelight concert on 29/04 and would like to share my thoughts on the event. While there were some positive aspects, there were also areas that left room for improvement. The opening presentation by the host, unfortunately, lacked the level of professionalism I had hoped for. It would have been more informative and engaging if the presenter had provided a more detailed overview of the program, including the specific Beethoven pieces to be performed. As for the pianist's performance, there were moments that seemed challenging for her, and this was evident in occasional mistakes and changes in tempo. While I understand the complexities of a demanding program, I believe thorough preparation is crucial for delivering a high-quality performance and honoring the audience's expectations. In terms of expression, the performance lacked dynamics, various colors, and meaningful phrasing, which are essential elements for engaging the audience and enhancing the overall experience. Furthermore, there were some discrepancies between the advertised program and the actual pieces performed. This deviation could have been better communicated to the audience, as it may have left some feeling misled or disappointed. Lastly, the inclusion of an improvised piece at the end did not seem to fit well with the overall theme and structure of the concert. Although artistic freedom is appreciated, it might have been more appropriate to focus on maintaining a cohesive performance that aligns with the expected repertoire. In conclusion, while the concert had its moments, there were some aspects that need attention and refinement. As a patron, I appreciate the effort put into organizing such events, but I hope that future concerts can offer a more polished and well-prepared experience for attendees.
