As mandatory Gulf Coast Florida evacuees of Hurricane Milton, we decided to go to the Atlantic coast the day the hurricane was to arrive. All more reasonably priced hotels were booked so we were directed to go to Amrit Ocean which still had rooms. We checked in with our 2 dogs. The room was nice with a nice view and beds were comfortable. The pet exercise area was decent, but not lit at night. During the night, at 2am, our A/C unit started dripping water on the floor. I called the front desk and was told there was nobody to fix it during the night. I put a towel on the floor to catch the water, by morning it was more than soaked. Needless to say, we DID NOT get a good night’s sleep that night. Upon check out (with 2 large dogs with me) I was presented the bill with a charge of $200 per dog. I paid it and decided to dispute it later. Upon looking at their website, it states they allowed 2 dogs per reservation with a $200 pet charge (per stay). No where did it state that the pet charge was $200 per pet! It also stated that guests would be asked to sign a waiver upon check-in to acknowledge their understanding of their Pooch Policy. I was never presented with, nor did I sign such a policy. Upon speaking with Management, I was offered a refund of one pet charge and valet charge of which I reluctantly agreed to, a total of $235 off of an original charge of $861.47. I do not recommend bringing a pet here, nor would I recommend staying Amrit Ocean to anyone.

Honestly I wish I can give this place a negative 5 stars! Luxury? how is this place luxury with holes in the roof, mold in the walls, pipes leaking, no hot water (dont forget yellow, orangish water), people getting stuck in the elevator, light switches are all broke , and there's barely any staff. The resident apartment is half way done! Management is definitely out of control!!! I think her name is De'sire she has the most despicable attitude, No wonder why they let her go from THE O (now that's luxury)! Her attitude make me hate Amrit! Who tells a guest/resident that she was suppose to be the director of this place and it would've been ran totally different! Let's be more self aware! The little evil laugh she gave after saying gave me such a discomfort! The way she dress looks like she on broadway NOT A1A, the makeup on her face does not hide the bags underneath. At this point DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY AT THIS MEDIOCRE "LUXURY" HOTAL/RESIDENT/SPA! Talking to some of the guest and conversing with some of the staff there THE PEOPLE HATE IT! How are us as the guest/resident are suppose to feel when your employees are miserable? This place was rushed and not well put together! NEGATIVE 5!

Came for a spa weekend with a group of girlfriends and had an amazing time! You could be in the spa all day-it's like nothing you've ever been to. The gym and classes were so nice to have! Will be back to check out all of the wellness services they have next time.

This place is way over priced and not run effectively or efficiently. The buildings are still not secure. The beach service is spotty. Fitness classes are always being changed. The fountains in the main shared area at the front of the buildings don’t work. The other day the jacuzzi was drained again. The water was green. ||The front of the building at the entrance still looks u finished. I’ve been here for 8 months as a resident. My hallway is not painted. Oh, and they wallpapered half the hallways. To cut corners they only did one side. ….. who does that ?? Cheap artwork abounds. ||Don’t use the elevator , you could get caught in it, broken down. Lobby music is Indian. The developer has done everything in his power to spend as little as possible, screw the residents and make this place like a 5 star facility. This is not a 5 star place. You are better off at the Hampton inn. Or the Marriott next door. Don’t waste your money ….like I did. Nothing quality about this place.

Wow! This place is INCREDIBLE. I go to a lot of spas and I have to say this was THE BEST SPA IN THE UNITED STATES. It's 4+ stories, with ocean views, and more wellness activities than you can ever imagine. Beach is amazing, food is delicious and healthy.

While staying at Amerit Ocean Resort, we were amazed by the welcoming and attentive staff who made us feel like VIPs. The resort's unique scent is amazing and unforgettable. The spa was a tranquil oasis with top-notch treatments and wellness classes. Dining at Luza Restaurant was a real treat with its mouth-watering dishes and stunning ocean views. Our room was beautifully designed and super cozy with an incredible view. Our time at Amerit Resort was truly unforgettable, providing a peaceful and rejuvenating escape where every little detail was thoughtfully planned to pamper us throughout our stay. Experience it.

The layout of the building is nice and it's clear that a lot of thought went into creating an all in one experience for guests. ||||My tour guide for the spa valentina was extensively knowledgeable about the machines and treatments offered. I learned about Amrit's holistic approach and Valentina did an outstanding job explaining it. Having visited numerous hotels, this spa stands out as exceptional but some parts of the spa isn't open yet. Their spa has huge potential for becoming a top tier spa destination.||||I was also shown their lobby area that includes the restaurants and bar. The views are something else and every turn I took I got to see the ocean. This resort is truly worth it. Looking forward to returning once all amenities are fully operational.

While I will revisit this post in the future once I have had a proper chance to visit to the hotel (if it has indeed opened to non-hotel guests), I will say to those looking at this property based on their 5-star reviews, keep in mind 76 of the 78 are from years ago, and the only two from when the hotel has been "open" have been of a different sort. Based on my limited time on property, I can say, as a local resident, I have been treated less than you would hope to expect, especially from a luxury property such as this. I do wish all of the good folks here nothing but the best, given how long we have all been patiently waiting for Amrit to be completed and their doors opened to both guests and local residents alike. I look forward to editing this review in the near future, for the better, I hope.
