"Ambassadors Clubhouse in Mayfair can fit all of your friends, their plus ones, and hopefully some full wallets. This sprawling Indian restaurant is from the people behind Gymkhana, Brigadiers, and Bibi, so it’s been set up for success, and it delivers. We’d choose the downstairs—an over-stimulating, reflective surface-filled, sexy version of the ground floor—every time for a fun group that doesn't mind speaking up over the music. So bring numbers, order the BBQ butter chicken chops and the refreshing beetroot chaat, and settle in." - jake missing, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna
"Ambassadors Clubhouse in Mayfair is the life of any party it’s invited to. It’s the restaurant you’d trust with the aux cable on your birthday, and the menu any day. Everything from the excellent Indian sharing dishes to the shiny mirrored room downstairs that plays desi banger after banger makes this a fun restaurant. It’s over-stimulating, and tiger print and reflective surface-filled, in the best way possible. The ground floor is more tame, so we’d choose the basement every time for a fun group that doesn't mind speaking up over the music." - jake missing, daisy meager, sinead cranna, rianne shlebak, heidi lauth beasley
"From the people behind Gymkhana and Bibi, Ambassadors Clubhouse has been set up for success—and it delivers. This fun Indian restaurant on Heddon Street has two floors and a heated verandah, in case you need a break from the banging playlist and tiger print inside. There’s some serious party energy downstairs if you want it, but honestly? It doesn’t matter where you sit. The Punjabi food is all bold flavours and moreish sauces. Case in point: the excellent lamb nalli barrah—a mix of charred, tender lamb shanks and chops—and the BBQ butter chicken chops with a velvety, creamy sauce." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak
"Ambassadors Clubhouse is named after one of the founders’ grandfathers, a former ambassador living in northern India. And the Mayfair Indian restaurant will take inspiration from the ‘abandoned party mansions of that region’. After hours, the lower ground floor will turn into Ambassy, a space for DJs and dancing. Know it’s a JKS restaurant—of Gymkhana, Brigadiers, Hoppers, and Trishna fame—so you can expect they’ll do opulence well. We checked out Ambassadors Clubhouse and added it to the Hit List. Each private room at this Mayfair restaurant is inspired by the party mansions of India—think chandeliers, gold tables, clashing fabrics, and DJ booths. From the warm service the moment you enter to the desi bangers, this is a fun restaurant. And it’s perfect for big celebrations—there’s an even bigger space that seats up to 60." - heidi lauth beasley, sinead cranna
