I had an incredible stay at Amansala. From the moment I arrived, I felt safe and genuinely well taken care of. As a first-time visitor to Mexico, I really appreciated how clearly the staff communicated best practices—such as not drinking the sink water in the room—while also reassuring me that all water used for rinsing food, juices, and meals was properly handled. That peace of mind made a huge difference and allowed me to fully relax and enjoy the experience.
The food was truly amazing—fresh, flavorful, and consistently high quality. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area.
The location was perfect: about 1.5 miles from the center of Tulum for shopping and exploring, yet secluded enough to feel peaceful and undisturbed by noise.
The staff truly made the stay special. Everyone was kind and attentive, and a special shout-out goes to Marco, my resort guide during the excursions. He was friendly, funny, and made the daily activities genuinely impactful and memorable.
I also had a deep tissue massage with Julian, and it was an amazing, deeply relaxing experience. His additional expertise in sports massage really stood out. The massage took place at Amansala’s sister property, Casa Chicabal, and I highly recommend taking time to walk around and explore that property as well—it’s beautiful.
I highly recommend Amansala if you’re looking for a peaceful, well-run resort with incredible food, thoughtful care, and an amazing team—especially if it’s your first time in Mexico.
