"Albam, Soho. Classic menswear with a modern cut, you might just find the perfect shirt (or jeans, or jacket) at Albam. It’s a British brand and they pride themselves on producing many of their pieces here. Functional and stylish, and made from quality fabrics, there’s something in their collection to fill every gap in the modern man’s wardrobe. They always have a good selection of accessories that make lovely gifts."

Own 7 pieces of their clothing. They are all Robust, high-quality, versatile and long-lasting garments. You'll pay more than you might for some brands, but prices are right given what you get. I'm personally not aware of a comparable UK brand at this cost. Really responsive customer service too.

Took my corduroy shirt back as the shirt pocket fell apart after one wash. The store realised that this was a problem on all of the same style shirt in the store. Instead of replacing the shirt they hand sewed it with around 10 stitches and it will probably fall apart again after another wash. For how much money it is, quality is poor.

If you support London fashion and independent retailers: SHOP HERE. American's could drop untold P's and be comfortable knowing they're taking home the true London Look. The real one. How we dress.... The quality is there. But the cuts are strictly a London look, so if you're from out of town you may BE DONE OUT HERE. Customer is King in this shop.

One of the few places to buy made in England clothing (or Portugal) at affordable prices. Ignore the idiots who think that £50 is too much for a tee shirt. They are welcome to spend their money buying five rubbish shirts from Topman. If you want quality and ethical clothing go here. Just a word of warning, the fits are very boxy as this is a workwear band.

Albam is always a great store. Their clothing is reliably good quality and timeless in design. It is more expensive than most stores, but the quality is great. If you can afford pieces from their store then I would definitely suggest browsing for something.

Good service, the clothes are well tailored. Recommend Advantages: excellent soft fabric, interesting cut, colors.

Albam is an amazing brand. Timeless British classics with a subtle twist. I buy a few things every season and never been disappointed with the quality. Friendly and competent staff.

Emailed Albam regarding a sizing query, received an automated email thanking me for my email and saying that they would aim to reply within 48 hours, but over three weeks later I am still awaiting a reply. Shame the customer service is so poor as they turn out some nice clothing.

Yelp
Albam is a men's clothing/ footwear shop. It sells a limited range of high quality goods for reasonable prices. In keeping with the small collection the shop itself is quite small, though it the large window and attractive minimal interior give it a breezy feel. The clothes are made in partnership with traditional manufacturers, largely in the UK. The clothes are smart casual (designed with creative professionals in mind). Their collection changes with the fashion season . The clothes themselves are of a high quality and as one would expect they look and feel wonderful. Whilst it is not cheap the prices are very good considering the standard (hand made deck shoes for £135! Shirts around £70; I guess high-end high street). Albam sells great clothes and deserves to succeed.

Yelp
My husband and I discovered Albam on a recent trip to London. He doesn't usually like shopping but this shop was clutter free, not overwhelming and carried smart, well-made, excellent quality items that he enjoyed trying on. Fashionable, youthful stylings. We left a few hundred £'s poorer but happy for the great pieces he purchased. Well worth a visit.

Yelp
Tucked away down a Soho side street (well sort of), this branch of Albam is currently the only outpost for the refined, simple but uber trendy clothing line. (Think American prep meets indie cool.) With a small (but not too small) selection of stock - from plaid shirts to well cut and highly covetable coats - there's undoubtedly something here that you need in your wardrobe. The prices are relatively high but you'll be purchasing a well crafted piece of clothing that sets you apart from the Topman clad identikit wardrobes that most young males sport. Bonus. Staff are friendly and will provide eye candy for bored girlfriends. Perhaps not such a bonus. On second thoughts, maybe you'd rather shop online

Yelp
Albam. Cannot get enough. The clothes are impeccably made and designed. If you like detail, wonderful fabric and clothes that quickly become your favourite things then shop at Albam. Their shirts are simple but classic. Think Margaret Howell, but at least half the price. They have shoes that are made for them by Grenson. They are like trainers after about a week's wearing. Everything is made in the UK and I get a sense that it will stay that way. Shop at Albam!

Yelp
An update: I sent them an email with my concerns and they moved fast to address my concerns in an open and positive way. Thank goodness, as I really did want to go buy more of their really nice clothing ... simple but beautiful and really well made. And, no child labor sweatshops! Go and buy!

Yelp
Located right off Carnaby Circus, Albam is London's preppiest men's store. Now in their third year, the guys at Albam design and manufacture their clothing here in the UK. They sell a range of casual clothing including jeans, chinos, shirts, sweaters, jackets, and and accessories from the US. I love this place and their updated preppy look. Recent purchases include a fantastic green cardigan and some wonderful blue cargo like shorts. These guys know what they are doing. If you are interested in quality, stylish, casual men's clothing go no further.
