Easy to find using waze, there was some offroading which i did in a small suv with no problems. It is a pretty beach. I walked along a small section of the mangroves before having to turn back. I saw many crabs and some birds. It would be a nice area for a picnic or BBQ

A great beach for family and friends, A ideal area to have BBQ with family and stay overnight as many people are staying overnight with their loved ones for the whole day. You can get very nice fresh air and enjoy a natural beach environment. This is the best beach in Qatar as far as I have experienced. You need to go early as the sea water might block the road to reach this area. You can use your ordinary cars if you do not have 04 Wheel. An amazing beach you must experienced if you are in Qatar.

It's a nice place for camping, but it's a bit more crowded in the weekends, on the weekdays it's a lovely place to camp n BBQ, fishing. You have to drive carefully on the way along the grave road while it's high tide, there is more chances of skiding. And don't try dunes driving if you are not with company.

AL-Thakira Beach is indeed the most beautiful, peaceful and clean beach in Qatar. I wonder why only few people know about it. Al Dhakhira sea strip looks like a natural lake with mangrove forests on both sides and a populated town on the 3rd side. It features a lot of greenery and a natural habitat for thousands of birds.

Al thakira mangroves forest end is a beautiful place to to visit. Easy access by saloon also. Clear water with splendid view of thakira area. Sunset is stunning. No public facilities available. Take all stuff with you. Water is deep in some areas. 2 to 3 km off the road drive but can access by car as well.

Place is nice to do Kayak but so much trash from left from well disciplined people, even baby napkins is just left in the ground. Hope the municipality will do something about this and be more strict.
