"Qatari Food in Style Al Liwan Restaurant, located at the Sharq Village & Spa, is the only restaurant in Doha offering a Saturday brunch buffet devoted to Qatari food. The dishes prepared by the Qatari home chef includes: lamb hares, shrimp mashkoul, chicken madrouba and balaleet, among others, all of it interspersed with South Asian delicacies. There is live music and the whole place seems wrapped up in authentic Arabian atmosphere. A children’s buffet is also available, with supervised activities to keep them entertained. Excellent buffet for a Saturday lunch time! We realty liked the food and the service was excellent. They have Illy coffee which is one our favourite coffee brands whcih is also included with the buffet. Great selection of salads, breads, main courses, desseets and the grills were tastey.

I had here a pleasant experience. Ambience is great and service is excellent. The varities of salads were amazing and the taste was above expectations. While the main course variety was less, the taste of what I tried was up to the point especially the grilled food. Dessert corner contains both Arabic sweets and western. Most of them were great.

Called and got confirmation from staff stated the buffet price was 175 riyals for seafood night. Instead need to pay more after that. 😡 Personal’s opinion that the price is not worth. Taste is average, no salmon, concentrated juice.

🔖 Buffet breakfast in Al Liwan Restaurant is from 0700H to 1000H only. No advance reservations for guests but they advice to be there by 7-8am. 🔖 We arrived in Al Liwan by 0700H, to our surprise, they told us that they will open by 0800H due to New Year’s Breakfast offer. They should have informed us about this during the check-in. 🔖 open-buffet style. 🔖 Thanks to Mr. Rusthum and Mr. Kingvi for assisting us in our dining experience.

This is my favourite spot when it comes to breakfast... I m keen on their buffet. The atmosphere is really relaxing 😌 the variety of food is scrumptious 😋 this time I felt the staff is new and needs more training, they were a bit confused. But overall, everything is fabulous 👌

LOVE the staff here! Hadi was our favorite staff member - he really can turn a frown upside down, especially when you consider how delicious the offerings are. Regardless of when you eat here (although, I'd say breakfast is the best option), you'll be hard pressed to not find an option to satisfy, especially at one flat rate. Breads, pastas, meats, cheeses, sweets, and everything in between. We especially enjoyed the chef stations, particularly the kebab station. The space itself is warm and relaxing and can accommodate tables for parties of all sizes and it is wheelchair accessible.
