Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel

Top hotel in the high end luxury segment:|1) Front desk / customer service top notch without any doubt|2) Property and resort / pool / landscape absolutely stunning - super quiet, huge - thus a lot privacy; everything in place from paddle tennis court to grass soccer field; amazing pool area among the best we have seen (comparable level with Jumeirah Dubai hotels)|3) Lobby very spectacular - it is so big and impressive that it feels even a bit “uncomfortable”…missing a bit the cozy atmosphere to stay and relax|4) Needs to improve in my view - very important to carefully select the “right” room type…executive suite felt very outdated; Mountain View not very nice; I would recommend to go for lagoon room; personally had challenges with extremely hard and thus uncomfortable bed; albeit this obviously being very much depending on individual preferences|5) F&B very high quality; main buffet restaurant feels a bit small and not very spectacular from architectural perspective and outside seating area very nice|****|Overall I had the feeling the hotel has lost a bit its atmosphere and can not catch up with “good old times” anymore. This is obviously a very vague and emotional statement…but I was just not experiencing a vibe like you would get in a Jumeirah Al Naseem or similar…maybe that also depending on season and occupation.|Still compared to e.g. St Regis, I would prefer Al Bustan Palace in Oman next time.

Our stay at the Ritz Carlton Al Bustan Palace in Oman was nothing short of extraordinary. Having visited this hotel 10 years ago, I’m delighted to say that the service remains as perfect and excellent as I remember. The staff provided the best service I’ve ever experienced, consistently going above and beyond to ensure our comfort, especially for our two young children, both under the age of two.||||During breakfast, the staff made every effort to make our mornings special. They would cut fruit for my daughter and even create cute pancakes just for her, making her feel like a little princess. The warmth and care they showed made us feel like part of their family. On our last day, they even gave us gifts, which was a truly heartwarming gesture.||||The hotel’s pools were immaculate, with several to choose from, each perfectly sized. My daughter especially enjoyed the kids' pool, where she spent countless hours having fun. The cleanliness and maintenance of the pools were impressive, adding to our overall enjoyment.||||When Emirates failed to release my daughter’s stroller, the hotel staff stepped in without hesitation. They called the airport daily to chase it up, showing an exceptional level of commitment to ensuring our stay was as smooth as possible. This level of care really set them apart.||||The hotel itself was spotless, with every corner meticulously maintained. The rooms were perfect—beautifully designed, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Despite the general rule that taxis aren’t allowed directly to the entrance, the staff made an exception for us because we had little children, which made a huge difference in our convenience.||||After returning to Al Bustan Palace after a decade, I am pleased to say that it has maintained its high standards, and I will definitely be coming back. A huge thank you to everyone at Al Bustan Palace for making our stay unforgettable.

This hotel is great in almost every aspect. Rooms are clean, good restaurants, very large swimming pool with plenty of beds close to the pool and sea. Breakfast buffet is a good spread. Service at breakfast, by the pool, in the spa and at the check in desk has all been great.||The spa is amazing and worth spending a good 3-4 hours there if you have booked a treatment.||Only reasons I would not give it a perfect score is because of the the beach. It requires some work as it is very rocky. Understand this may be something out of the hotels control but would be great if it could be worked on.||It would also be good if the hotel had maybe an area to go watch live sports with other guests as it is probably the only other thing that is missing when talking to other guests. ||Overall I give this 9/10.

The Spa is amazing and perfectly awesome. Layan is a wonderful therapist and he remove all my aches and pain. Suranga and the team are all great. Marlyn and Lea surprised me with birthday cake 🎂. The pool at the hotel is also a fantastic place to chill including the gym area with Jean. Thank you so much for unforgettable memories.

We loved everything about our stay! The hospitality is wonderful! The breakfast had a wide variety of options to choose from, which was perfect to start the day. The pools and the beach were simply amazing, offering a perfect place to relax and enjoy the sun. Overall, our stay was fantastic, and we can’t wait to come back!

I was there with friends to relax, and mission accomplished! I love staying at Al Bustan. It's always a good experience. The food, the view, the ladies' beach, and the cleanliness of the rooms are all top-notch. It truly is the best destination for a relaxing day. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, especially Jawaher at the reception. Thank you all for the awesome stay! It is highly recommended!✨✨✨

I cannot begin to describe how amazing this place was. Next level hotel and the breakfast is the best I have ever had. The provide real coconuts and I have never seen that amount of crossaints with the different varieties. The women's only beach was very beneficial for the women and they pretty much stayed there the whole day. The pool is nice and big, the spa is also top quality and all the workers were very nice and professional.

This place is simply stunning. We were given two adjoining rooms since there wasn't a room large enough for a family of four. It was outstanding - the pool, the beach, the view, the food, the service. It was amazing.
