"Waterside Shopping at Aker Brygge Aker Brygge Shopping Center is located in the old ironworks at Aker Brygge, and houses a good selection of shops in a moderate price range. Aker Brygge is an old industrial site, and now houses several restaurants, cafés, shopping venues, and a comedy scene. Everything is blended together to create a different feeling than you normally get at a shopping centre - complete with an historic feel."

I was really impressed when I visited this modern district in Oslo. It’s called Aker Brygge and Tjuvholmen, a vibrant waterfront area filled with stylish apartments, restaurants, cafés, and art galleries. One of the things that makes it truly special is the abundance of sculptures and modern art installations you can find as you walk around. It’s a perfect place to enjoy the mix of architecture, culture, and the beautiful views of the Oslo fjord. If you’re visiting the city, I definitely recommend spending some time here — whether for a stroll, a meal by the water, or simply to admire the unique artworks scattered throughout the district

Bustling harbour front in Oslo, with ferries, charter boats, museums, city hall, eateries, park, statues, fountains. Very enjoyable and interesting. Well served by tram and very popular area with many bars and restaurants. Great views of Akershus Fortress and Oslo Fjord.

A must visit if you are in Oslo a few days. Just for the peace of mind. Enjoy the sea and sun. Many restaurants, ice cream bars and coffee shops.

A very Morden, comprehensive city to visit in Oslo. It is a business and residential complex with seaside leisure points and ferries ports near by. The national museum is also near by so it is a place that you can spend many days if you are visiting For living, I’m not sure. The distance seems not that Nordic enough here

The shopping center was very open and inviting. The stores were varied and priced we were decent for a major tourist center. The beautiful was an extra bonus!
