The spa itself is very well maintained and offers excellent amenities. Everything felt clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. I particularly loved the swimsuit drying machine, the Dyson hairdryers, and the overall quality of the facilities. The massages were very good, and the masseuses were friendly, professional, and made us feel at ease throughout. We were also given chocolate-covered strawberries to congratulate us on our engagement, which was a lovely and much-appreciated touch. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t fully match what was advertised through Buyagift, which was disappointing as we had booked this as a romantic day. From the booking stage, it seemed there was some unfamiliarity with the package. We were initially scheduled for only 30 minutes in the watsu pool, despite the offer clearly stating one hour, and this was only corrected after I raised it. On the day itself, there were further discrepancies. Instead of a couples massage in the same room, we were taken to separate rooms. The watsu pool session, which was meant to include petals, champagne, and a fruit platter, ended up being just bottled water. While the pool was pleasant, it didn’t resemble the photos shown online and felt more like a general-use or children’s pool, with toys visible, rather than the intimate, hot-tub-style setting suggested in the images. Another slightly awkward moment came at the end of our visit, when guests in robes were eating dinner in the small reception area. Seeing this made it feel quite exposed, and it honestly put me off the idea of booking dinner there in the future, as it didn’t seem to offer guests much privacy. That said, everyone working at the spa was genuinely lovely and welcoming, and the venue clearly has a lot of potential. With better staff training around third-party bookings and clearer alignment between what’s advertised and what’s delivered, this could be an excellent experience. Unfortunately, on this occasion, it didn’t quite live up to expectations.

I had a lovely spa experience yesterday including a massage and lunch. The best thing about the whole experience was the staff. They were all really lovely, polite, hard working and constantly replacing towels etc. The spa itself seemed like dated luxury. The whole place fitted out in a uniform marble/stone. However the temperature was a little cool and whilst sitting I needed a towel for warmth. The pool, however, was lovely and a perfect temperature. The Jacuzzi back jets did not work on one side. There were no exotic or modern rooms. In addition, the lighting was low so great for creating an ambiance but terrible if you want to read whilst relaxing. The massage by Carolina was amazing and it actually lasted the full hour... Thanks The included lunch was also good, the manager on duty in the Barbounia restaurant, could not have been more attentive. Thanks for a very enjoyable day

Lovely spa with a deceptive entrance that leads to an oasis of calm. The locker rooms are fully stocked with towels, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, vanity packs, etc. Robes and slippers are supplied. The relaxation area is very zen. There is a wet level with a lap pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. There is a yoga room and a variety of exercise classes and self care sessions are offered. I had the 90 minute hot stone massage. It was awesome. The staff were very attentive and kind. I was surprised with a gift of delicious Raspberry truffles for my birthday.

I had the most incredible massage today by Jasmine, she is a very talented lady and Akasha Spa is lucky to have her! I would highly recommend requesting her, as well as the Sundari Abanya massage - it is a such a relaxing experience. It was my birthday too, and a lovely touch was some chocolate strawberries to wish me happy birthday. The staff were all lovely and the facilities all a very high standard. I will definitely be back. I booked to visit Akasha super last minute. Daniela was very helpful and put together a bespoke package that fit my needs and budget. The spa was lovely, treatment with Sasha was incredibly relaxing and professional… and then someone brought me a surprise glass of champagne in the spa. Had the best afternoon - thank you team. Cannot recommend enough.

Excellent spa tucked away in central London. The facilities were exceptional, with a serene atmosphere and friendly staff. The 18m long pool is perfect for a swim, while the jacuzzi and steam room were ideal. I went for the 2-hour twilight experience, which was reasonably priced and included a complimentary glass of champagne. I will definitely be back again and look forward to trying the fitness studio next time.

Absolutely amazing visit to Akasha spa!! I came for my birthday with a group of friends and we all had an exceptional day. The facilities are gorgeous and clean and the spa has everything you need. What really made this day incredible was the support of the staff. Ana went above and beyond to make my birthday a special day. She was so attentive and really gave us luxury, high class treatment! I am so thankful to her for all she did for us that day, from organising treats to arranging our lunch. I will absolutely return. Thank you Akasha spa and thank you Ana!! X

Crazy to think there is such a spa with a relaxing ambience right by the hustle and bustle of Piccadilly Circus! I came here for the weekday package as a treat for my birthday. Robes/ flip-flops were provided and fresh towels were dotted around the various facilities. The pool area was great and the massage that I had was phenomenal!
