Second time here, and I do love their quality of food. They prepare meals from scratch and use olive oil, which made it quite accommodative for my food allergies. I feel the interior needs a redesign; it feels like the space is unsure what it wants to be, fine dining, casual dining, or after work or weekend pub. Foodies that love to play around with the taste profiles of their meals would love this place.

We need Six Stars✨✨ for Joseph our server tonight, was prompt and attentive, didn’t do the classic hovering but was there at the right time. Loved the food, the portions were huge, and quality was great. Would definitely recommend will definitely be back.

Chicken wings is humiliatingly small. I mean size of each piece itself. And you need to cut the last part of a wing, which nobody eat in the western world (I suppose you want to serve food to Europeans due to your prices). Bread and butter service is nice. Strawberry smoothie is good. Potato fritters a bit dry. Prawns in mango salad is weird and a bit stinky. In general is ok, but for 40 dollars for the lunch I’d like to get better food.

Always an amazing “thyme” at About Thyme.Had dinner with my wife about a week ago. The potato skins and chicken karaage starters were to die for.The New York Strip is one of the best steaks I’ve ever had and the sticky date pudding never disappoints for a sweet treat. One of the best restaurants in Kenya- 10/10

Once passing through road, the name stuck in mind so decided to visit on any next opportunity. Finally visited this place for dinner and I must say, I fell in love with this. Such a lovely sitting area, with beautiful surroundings. Food was okay, ordered Tuna stake with mango, wasn’t that great or maybe tuna isn’t otherwise too scrumptious. They had Jiko for keeping warm and service was very good. Menu is not too long as in that case choice becomes a challenge. In terms of price, it’s bit on higher side and for two persons’ dinner and no drinks, bill was OES 6,000.

I absolutely loved their *About Thyme Pepper Steak*—perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and beautifully presented. Their *Thyme Out* cocktail was the perfect complement—refreshing and well-balanced. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be visiting again soon! Highly recommend!

I loved the place! Good, no-frills international and local food in a very nice, green and relaxing atmosphere a buzz away from the hustle and bustle of Nairobi. Recommend the tuna steak!

Amazing service. Staff were knowledgeable and attentive to allergens. Steak was really good. The snapper was possibly the best I have ever had. Forbidden rice pudding was also amazing. Generous portion sizes and lots of options for various dietary restrictions on the menu. Really enjoyed the leafy, shaded garden and background live saxophonist.
