Last day of this restaurant....... We are so lucky to be able to get a table there, the seafood is supero as always, HK style French toast was super delicious...... will definitely miss this local restaurant, hopefully the owner will decide to open somewhere else......great fresh seafood, tasty cooking!

The freshest seafood from local days catch. Mainly intended for locals as it serves as more of a cafe. You can order restaurant food and upon request as they don't have a set menu. You start by giving them a budget and they come back to you with a custom platter based on what's available. The set menu that you tuber Mark Viens showcases on his video at this place no longer exists.

It wasn't easy to find and the inside is devoid of anything but basic Chinese restaurant style. Apart from the menu on the photo everything is in Chinese. Although some reviews said it was the best seafood they had, I cannot concur. I have had way better on the islands. The deep fried shrimps had been cooked in, what tasted like, old oil. The scallops were good, but there were only two. It was seriously overpriced and in my opinion neither the food nor decor justifief the expense. I wouldn't go there again. This is a local canteen for those people who work at the fish market. Supposed they have very fresh seafood..... The cooking style is very local, food is ok, but don't expect it will be cheaper than outside.

I believe I have been overcharged for being a non Asian person. The menu does not have prices but the bill was extremely high. For a very simple restaurant inside the fish market (not the best atmosphere and people smoking cigarets inside) I would not expect the same bill as a five star restaurant. Beware!

Probably one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The food itself was good, however the interior is a massive turn-off for appetite. The worst part was the bill though… our group paid the equivalent of 300£ for 5 courses and 5 drinks; in Hong Kong, where dishes do not exceed 10£!! Steer clear 🙏🏼

I found this recommended online and was top of my list to see what Hong Kong had to offer in terms of seafood. Showing up it had a smell of sewage on the way in, however I was willing to forgive as it was right next to a fish market. Once sat down we were directed to order off pictures on a wall with no prices. After ordering a few things we sat down and dish by dish came out including one dish that we didn’t order. Whilst all the dishes were good (not great) we were met with a rude surprise when the bill came. The bill was $2800 HKD (£280). For the amount that we ate, the overall quality of food and interior this is an absolute scam. I wouldn’t recommend this to any tourists as after coming out of the meal my friends and I deeply regretted spending that money. Save your time and wallet and try going to the fishing village Tai O on Lantau Island.
