Really good small buffet in the heart of Lisboa. Tried the grilled pork steak with an ice cold beer. Can come handy for quick bites or eat something after a long walk. Good prices, good location, you can eat in and out

Simple, Rustic, Authentic and Delicious Portuguese Food! I had the sardines which were in season - super fresh and tasty! Very affordable prices as well! Waiter was very helpful and friendly.

Food was less than desirable. Cod fish balls and samosas were made a few hours ago. Ordered 2 glasses of wine but be aware that the price on the menu is not the same as what they charged. Quite misleading as they are not expecting return customers?!

A group of us wanted a simple sandwich on the go and we found this place. My friends had sandwiches and I ordered veg samosas. Neither was good. Stale bread, ok-ish filling, and samosa's - the cabbage inside also tasted stale. Maybe they had issues with the heat and food that day? But overall - I would recommend buying something little and trying for yourself. Maybe we just got them on a bad day

Place is as simple as they get, reminds me of the type of small bar that I used to go to as a kid in Brazil, before I got wealthy enough that I was afraid to hang out in them (or maybe the clientele in the small Brazilian bars actually got shadier as I grew up?). Liked the breaded-bacalhau sandwich and sparkling wine I got, staff is super friendly and customers seem like regulars/locals (nice friendly ones). While the fried fish was cold and boney, place was a bit cramped, and there were pidgeons walking/flying around, I assume this is the norm for this type of place in Lisbon, and I’m not dead from it so I don’t really mind. Recommend it for people who like simple homely little bars and don’t mind cold food.

Nice traditional flavors. Food like snack but quite delicious. As one of the oldest places to eat, try to try it!

Another great place to people watch, the Panado 'breaded pork' roll was great. No sauce/mayo but the pork was cooked great with very good seasoning in the breading. The bread was soft and crunchy. And at €3.70 I thought it was great value.

Disgrace! Ice cold and soggy Pasteis de Bacalhau (codfish cakes). Sent them back to warm up - came back microwaved and soggy it was really disgusting. Horrible service and a don’t care attitude - since 1840 they’ve learnt nothing- never again!
