A O Show - Lune Production

If you are in Ho Chi Minh, then you should definitely watch this show. They gave you welcome drinks and a short tour of the Opera House’s history. We had a great time experiencing the arts of what Vietnam had to offer. Overall, it was a great evening.

A O Show in Saigon Opera House was such a fantastic way to fill your bucket list when in HCM. You can tell by the performers how much they have worked for the show to become successful. You will find many aspects of Vietnam in the production and also the acrobatic side, songs, instruments and etc. You cannot miss this! Thank you to all who made this production possible for tourists and even locals to enjoy.

I Was unable to take pictures in the show, they were very strict about it which is fair enough. The show had great production value, it was funny, chaotic and showed aspects of Vietnam life it was well choreographed. There were a few key scenes where one or two performers showcased amazing individual ability. We got the cheap seats and they were fine, but a few rows back from the front. However it was less acrobatic and athletic than I was led to believe. We've seen shows in Cambodia with none of the fancy stages but way more raw athleticism. You will definitely enjoy it, just set your expectations accordingly.

Entertaining show comprised of acrobatics, live music and some comedy. Depicts everyday life and uses bamboo to great effect. AC is a bit chilly. Wow seats are in the balcony and come with a pre show alcoholic drink while the other tickets come with cold tea. The cheapest seats are not much different from the middle range seats.

A stunning show! The choreography and stunts were extremely impressive, beautiful, and at times even funny. The AO show was easily a highlight of my trip, and I highly recommend this! I got the “wow” seat on the second floor near the center and I’m glad I did. You can see the full stage more easily, and the performance uses the entire stage for immersive visual effects.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! MUST SEE!!!!!! I watched this show on 1/20/025 while visiting Saigon during my vacation. The show has an amazing and talented cast that can dance and sing. I was amazed at their acrobatic abilities and their performances. I love and truly appreciate how the show is able to showcase the beauty of viet culture through storytelling and props. As a Viet American who was born in VN, I was so moved seeing/hearing different traditional props, sounds, songs, instruments being used on stage bc those were the things i used to see or hear while growing up. The show artfully illustrates life in VN through different periods and seeing them on stage brought me back to my childhood growing up in VN. I want to thanks the cast and the production crew who made this show a truly memorable experience for me. Ps. They were roommates :)

This was a fun experience for us visiting Vietnam. It has the entertainment factor of theatre, the elegance of ballet, and the athleticism of circus acrobatics. We felt it was distinct from other cultural experiences, in a worthwhile way. We walked out thinking it would be difficult to find a bad word to say about the show - surprising, now, to see others who did not enjoy it. I suppose if you arrive to enjoy an hour of excellent, fun, and at times thrilling, theatre then you would have a fantastic experience. It was one of the more expensive things we've done here but I'd personally say money well-spent!

The show was mediocre or okay at best. The issue is that there was a basketball player in front of me :) and I wanted to move to the seat on the left and they warned me I cannot do that. Then the show started and at least separate 3, 4 groups of people in front of me changed their seats and there was no warning. I decided to do the same silently and immediately a staff member showed up and warned me rudely this time. When I told him about people changing seats, he ignored me. After the show I wanted to let the manager Ty about the situation and he ignored me too. I am quite unsatisfied with staff members behaving like gestapos and manager is incompetent. Besides the show is mediocre at best.
