Went in for dinner then lunch the next day. Vegetarian fresh spring rolls were great, mixed seafood fried rice was good, grilled prawns with a mint and green chilli dipping sauce were really good, beef pho was delicious and the quality of meat good too. Definatelyone of the better ones ive had in Vietnam. Also tried an Avocado and Mango smoothy, I asked for extra ice and less sweetener and they were both delicious. Friendly staff even helped peel shells off the prawns 😁❤️ All priced well and quality food and service. A great experience for me and I'd recommend New Day for solo travelers, couples and larger groups. 5* for me. Thank you.

Her ability to understand what guests might enjoy, even before they say it, is truly impressive. Throughout the meal, Hoa checked in gracefully — always at the right time, never intrusive. Her knowledge, kindness, and natural intuition created a seamless dining experience. It’s rare to meet someone in hospitality who can make guests feel both understood and genuinely taken care of, and Hoa does this effortlessly. Thanks to her, my visit went from great to unforgettable. New Day Restaurant is incredibly fortunate to have someone like Hoa — she elevates the entire dining experience. Hoa is very nice, food is so amazing! The food is exceptional—fresh ingredients, balanced flavors, and beautifully presented dishes that truly highlight the richness of Vietnamese cuisine. Every plate feels thoughtfully crafted, from the appetizers to the mains. The pho and spring rolls are must-tries, and the signature dishes are full of authentic Hanoi character. What really stands out is the consistent quality and the relaxing atmosphere, making it perfect for friends, couples, or even solo dining. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ New Day Restaurant is a nice spot right in the middle of Hanoi 📍. The place has a good atmosphere for groups 👨‍👩‍👧 and serves a wide variety of local Vietnamese dishes 🍲🐸🔥🍚. We tried the fresh frog, hotpot, and classic fried rice – everything was flavorful and authentic, though the portion sizes felt a little small for the price 💸. The restaurant is lively yet casual, and what’s great is you don’t need to worry about reservations 🚶‍♂️, just walk in and you’ll usually find a table. Overall, a solid choice if you want to sample different local flavors in one place ✨.

Just came into this place as it looked fairly busy. There is seating inside and outside. Service was prompt. The Bun Cha was average with the meat a bit tough. The pho was agreeable. Price was good.

Had my first ever meal in Vietnam here! The Bun Cha (vermicelli) was incredibly fresh and delicious. I can’t think of any way to make it better. The service was terrific, especially Nolan and the food arrived so fast, I couldn’t believe it!

Excellent restaurant with outstanding service. As I have to eat gluten free, I felt very well taken care of here. Great attention was paid to my dietary needs and everything was clearly explained. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared. Our server Nolan was also attentive and friendly. You can really tell that the guests’ well being is a top priority. We will definitely come back!

We sadly discovered this restaurant only one day before leaving Hanoi – what a gem! It’s one of the most authentic Vietnamese spots we found in the city, and the food was so outstanding that we came back for dinner the same day after having lunch there. For lunch, we had clams with fried rice, aubergine, and beef with vegetables – every dish was perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavor. Dinner was just as impressive: crispy fried chicken, chive omelette, calamari, bok choy with mushrooms, and fried pho with rice cake. Everything was fresh, comforting, and truly delicious. If you’re visiting Hanoi, this place is an absolute must-visit for real Vietnamese home-style cooking. Bonus perk: it’s located just steps from the famous Beer Street (Bia Hoi corner), so after a fantastic dinner here, you can easily head over for drinks and nightlife as the perfect “dessert” 😉. Highly recommended – we only wish we’d found it sooner!
