A Marisqueira do Lis

Outstanding seafood! We normally visited another “popular” seafood restaurant nearby but we thought it became too touristy so we decided to try A Marisqueira do Lis. Wow! The seafood was fantastic especially the king prawn! We love the clams. And the bread! We can’t stop eating it. Service is also great, the server was friendly and not pushy at all. Will definitely visit again.

We had a phenomenal meal here. Big thanks to friendly staff who helped me picked out a live lobster. Also taught me the proper way to eat Percebes (goose barnacles) which were fresh and delicious. Toasted bread and pork loin appetizers went perfectly with beer and wine. Ordered lobster to be grilled, yummy! Husband enjoyed his grilled grouper as well. This seemed to be a local favorite, the atmosphere was lively. I had communication difficulties from speaking only english. Luckily there's Google Translate. :) We loved our dinner. Highly recommend.

The seafood here was so great! Second time here and it didn’t disappoint. I love the tiger prawns but the red prawns are HEAVENLY; wish we got more. The garlic shrimp is also a standout dish. The service can be a little slow but that’s to be expected of Europe.

A Marisqueira do Lis exudes that authentic, local charm that makes it feel like a hidden gem. By 9 pm, the place was buzzing with a line out the door—a sure sign of something special. Once we finally got seated, the vibe and flavors made the wait worth it. We started with drinks, setting the tone for a relaxed evening. The garlic fried shrimp and clams were bursting with flavor, a real highlight. My wife loved the cold octopus salad, though I found it just okay, as I lean towards warm seafood. Still, the entire experience, from the local flair to the well-executed dishes, left a lasting impression. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re getting a true taste of the local scene.The red prawns at A Marisqueira do Lis were divine—an absolute standout. They were so rich in flavor, really adding to the experience. The place already had that authentic local feel, but those prawns made it something truly memorable. Thanks Daniel

Absolutely loved the food here and the service was top notch. Has the seafood platter for 2 with crab and it was a seafood lovers delight. I had never really had allot of cold seafood and this platter was a great way to try it out. It offers great dipping sauces that are warm and the seafood had that decisions salty goodness your looking for. It was also very quick, the servers were nice, and they also helped us out with how to eat the foods we had never tried before. 10/10 would come back and it is worth it. The crab head wasn't our favorite though but would definetly say try it at least once.

Some of the best tiger prawns I’ve had. The shrimps frites was also lovely. However, service is poor. They charge you for the ‘complimentary’ bread. You also feel a bit rushed while dining. That being said, the quality and taste of the food is still excellent. Would be 5 stars if service could be improved.

Everything we ordered was delicious. I loved the octopus salad. Garlic prawns a bit salty for my taste. Good value for money and many locals there

Ramiro had a long wait time so we went down the street. We weren't disappointed with the experience or the flavor of the food. Everything we wanted at Ramiro we got here.
