The place to go to enjoy high quality and authentic corse cuisine, in one of the most beautiful villages in Balagne. The menu has a selection of typical corse food, includong vegetarian options. The „soup corse“ was iconic, the ideal comfort food, with natural and earthy flavours. What you cannot miss is also the sheep cooked for 7 hours, which make the meat very tender yet full in flavors, with the aromatic herbs of the corse maquis. Last but not least, the chestnut cake is an absolute must. The service was very nice and friendly and they kindly accompdated my request of celebrating my husband birthday with candles and music, which was extremely nice. Price was absolutely reasonable, we spent around 170€ including wine (portions are very generous). Simply a must when in Balagne!

Nice atmosphere, attentive and professional service and, more importantly, great food! The Brebis à l’Antica was truly delicious. Great selection of Corsican wines: I had the Yves Leccia Rosé and it was very, very nice.

DONT BELIEVE A MICHELIN GUIDE! I definitely recommend a food, it was delicious, but the service is so far from a place being on a Michelin guide. First of all all waters are in rush, one of them spilled the glass of wine, and brought an empty glass instead without refilling it. Definitely service is 1 star or maximum 2, and definitely because of this, this place should not be on a Michelin guide. We paid for a full bottle of wine while one glass was just spilled not even by us. No complementary coffee was offered or anything to show the care for mistake made. We tried to come back the second time and booked a place with the view, or at least on the side and not in the middle where all the waters are running around, in the end we got not what we asked for and just went away as the price is put as of Michelin restaurant but the service and some of the tables are definitely very very far from it. Will not come back!

We informed before going there and also at the table during order that we don’t eat meat. They brought eggplant with bacon! And they didn’t even apologize. Some more disappointments, no need to write. Pigna is good. * * * reply First of all, you didn’t bring English menu. So, we didn’t order with menu, we talked with your staff, I told him we don’t eat meat, asked him which meal does not have meat, he suggested eggplant, so we ordered that. Secondly, before we come there, we asked you, and you suggested eggplant again. I share your reply in the photo. So what would you do? Two eggplant suggestions when asked for a vegeterian option?! Lastly, why do I lie here? I share my experience for improvement. I suggest you to keep your rudeness with you. The language does not clear your mistake. You can easily apologize.

Amazing food and very nive view. The stuff was very friendly and English speaking. I had Foie de gras,which was amazing with fig jam and lamb. This was the best lamb I had in my life (I had them many). Highly recommanded to anyone visiting Corsica (is 1.5h drive from Bastia). We had a privilage to see a boar nearby the restaurant area :)

Great service, great food, great place! Highly recommended! And desert was huge 😊
